Great experience in Porto! My partner and I always do a food tour in a new city and we found this one to be the perfect way to get to know the lesser known craft beer scene in Porto! Great beers, great foods, and great guides! Highly recommend :)

We had an absolute ball on this tour. The other patrons were great, and the guide was exceptional. Everyone was very knowledgeable. The beer pours were plentiful and they always made sure we had access to water. My biggest feedback would be about the food. While everything tasted great, I was expecting 4 different items. We got two empadas- one black paw pig, and one wild boar. Fairly similar in taste but the same dish. The second thing we ate was Bifana, and we got served two of those- again, same thing. So that was the 4 items we got. I think it would have been nicer to have four unique tastes. That’s our feedback, we still had fun and we still recommend it.

Porto should be know for it's craft beer as well as it's wine! Paulo is very passionate about craft beer and selecting great tastings for our group. He also made some great recommendations for additional beer and food options in Porto that made our trip even better!

Portugal isn't known for its beer, so this was a good opportunity to learn about the budding craft beer scene. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband is, and he enjoyed what was sampled. The food on the tour was excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic tour. We had a wonderful time learning about the town of Porto and the history of craft beer in the city.
There were only 4 people on the tour so everyone had a great time getting to know each other while enjoying beers all over the city. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys beer!

Angelo was very knowledgeable! If he didn’t know something, he would try to find the answers for us! Our group was the only one on the tour, so we essentially got a private tour! Thank you for not cancelling on us since we were the only group!

You would really then that was really well our guide Andre was fantastic The perfect blend of humorous, friendly, and informative. The venues we visited were great too with a wonderful selection of beers and snacks. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone with any interest in beer and food

Paolo and Pedro were friendly and knowledgeable and took us to great places, most of which I never would’ve noticed. The beers were great and the food outstanding. Fantastic empadas with pork cooked to perfection. Walking from bar to bar was a great way to experience a wide area of the city.

Angelo was awesome. He was the mayor of Porto! Knew everyone!! Lisa and I enjoyed his company while touring craft brew houses throughout Porto. Talked beer, music and family. Pedro was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the craft beer scene in Porto was excellent. And the foods that the beer was paired with were really pretty good. I did not care for the wild pig too much. Pedro was fun and energetic. It helps when the people you meet on the tour are just as fun.

This tour was one of our favorite parts of Porto. André was an amazing guide. When my partner and I did the tour, we were the only people so it was extremely personalized. We loved learning about some of the history of Porto, and the local spots and preferences. André also gave some amazing recommendations, and on the tour all of the beer and food was delicious! Although it ls a bit pricey, it’s unlike any traveling experience I’ve ever had and worth every cent. Thank you André and Taste Porto!

Andy gave us an amazing fun and informative tour of a few Craft beer spots in town. We stopped at a handful local places we would have never found on our own. The best spot for me was at the farmers market. It was busy with folks doing there thing and we were having a couple of good beers and snacks taking it all in while Andy gave us the story about the beers and history of the market.
The tour company did a great job of letting us know info before the tour and sent awesome post tour follow up message.

My wife and I met Angelo for our craft beer and food tour. My wife is not a
Beer fan and Angelo went out of his way to get her a glass of wine while I
enjoyed the great Porto craft beers. The food was all very different and fantastic.
He was a personable and informative guide. Would highly recommend this tour.

My tour ended up being just me and guide Angelo. I was a bit worried that without a group my experience might not be as positive but that was far from the case!
Angelo personalized the tour to what I was most interested in. He was a great conversationalist and I learned a lot not only about the craft beers, it’s short history, but also of Porto. He was able to go deep into topics I had only heard the surface of on another tour and made it very informative. Also learning his personal journey and sharing my experience and observations with beer and wine-as well as American culture-in general was of value to the discussion.
If you are “wined” or “ported” out and want something a little different and totally unexpected, this is a great experience!

We had a small tour (just the two of us) and it was wonderful. Our guide Inez was so lovely and personable and the tour itself really highlighted a section of Porto we weren’t familiar with yet! We now have a few favourite spots from that tour. It was equal parts tasty (beer/food) and informative! So much beer - thankfully the walking and the food balances it out!
