When your ship docks at the Turistic Port: Cruise ships docks at Ponta Delgada cruise terminal,when you leave the ship, you will pass trough the security room reaching the terminal hall, this is where our local guides welcome you, holding a sign with your name or a sign with AZORES DREAM TOURS If we have several cruise ship´s at the time: Only one ship can dock at the time at the turistic port, in this case the other´s cruise ship´s will dock at the comercial port, you will need to take the shutle out of the comercial port, and we will be at the first exit shutle stop in town, holding a sign with our name or a sign with AZORES DREAM TOURS

Great tour option. Guide was insightful and really made the tour worthwhile. We especially appreciated the cheese shop stop and his helping with recommended cheese & the other product recommendations.

Miguel was an awesome guide! He was very knowledgeable and made sure our mobility challenged fellow guests were able to enjoy the activities. He took us to a church which was not on the itinerary because he could drive up to it. He also paid for us to go to the volcanic hot spots where restaurants cooked their stew under the dirt. We even got pictures of the pot because he knew the people. One of the best tours I have been on.

6 of us sat in two back seats which were facing each other, awkward and uncomfortable. The driver/guide had a strong accent and no microphone and was difficult to hear/understand. His driving was scary at times. We stopped a few times so he could have a cigarette. The sites themselves were nice.

Our vehicle for this tour it was a luxury black Mercedes Vito, equipped with limousine-style seats, designed specifically for comfort and space. The configuration includes two rows facing each other, which most guests appreciate for visibility and accessibility — but we understand seating preferences can vary.
Regarding the guide, he is a fully certified, highly experienced professional, known for his clear communication and excellent guest care. No other passengers reported difficulty understanding him, stops made are part of the standard itinerary for viewpoints and photo opportunities.
Safety is our top priority. Our drivers follow all traffic regulations and drive with caution, which is consistently reflected in our 5-star reviews.

Tour was as advertised! Weather cooperated to provide outstanding views of the craters, lakes and ocean. Miguel was very accommodating. He was very responsive to a couple of my pre-tour communications. I even enjoyed the pineapple drop more than I expected.

Azores Dream tours never showed up - said they lost our confirmation - I think since nobody else booked that tour they just decided to cancel without letting us know. Yes, they issued a refund but we had to scramble to find an independent tour operator at $60 more - they won’t respond to me regarding issuing an additional credit for the $60. Viator has wiped their hands of this issue even though they endorse/recommend Azores Dream Tours

Our guide took us all over. She was very very knowledgeable, fun, friendly and truly caring. Andrea took us to the volcano lake, tried local food, saw a few churches, beaches and extra time was spent in the city learning so very much.

The car equipment is worse than expected, the air conditioning is completely useless, and it is very hot and stuffy. The tour guide is very enthusiastic, but it would be better if he could be more punctual.

The entire tour was so interesting. Our tour guide, Raffielle, was excellent. We saw more than we expected. So lucky to have had good weather to see the blue and green lakes. Loved the volcano town we visited. Can't believe a whole town of people live there as the volcano is still active. The entire tour was enjoyable.

Spectacular views, fascinating insight into the island's history, geology and environment. Our guide was well informed and friendly. We especially liked the small van with just 8 passengers, including us 3, so we didn't have the hassle and wasted time of getting on and off a big bus. Comparing our experience with friends who took a big-bus tour to the same destination, we realized we got to make a lot of stops where their bus just slowed down, and they never got a break or a good look at the sights. We also got dropped off afterwards at a place of our choosing in Ponta Delgada instead of being herded directly back to the cruise terminal, which gave us plenty of leisure time to explore, get a relaxing lunch, and shop. And we paid far less than the cruise line expedition would have cost.

The tour was 1/3rd the price of booking a cruise ship tour.
However, the minibus with straight-back chairs was uncomfortable.
The "guide" was quiet, just answering questions from 2 couple at the front of the bus.
On the 3 stops, she didn't come and talk about the area. She merely let us off the minibus, told us the time to be back and then waited for the late returners to come back.
It would have been good had the guide been more informative

Gonçalo with Dream Tours did a wonderful job explaining how pineapples are grown in the Azores. We toured the Sete Cidades where the blue and green lakes were explained. We stopped at the small village near the Cidades with a church built in 1857. While the weather wasn’t the best the tour was great.

The weather wasn't the greatest, even had some sprinkles. Couldn't really see the different colors in the lakes, but had an enjoyable time. We had never been to the Azores before and the plants reminded me of living in San Diego.

Big problem as our ship did not dock due to the weather. cancelled 90 minutes before docking. I have so far had no luck reclaiming our excursion money paid. The travel company say contact Trip advisor who are not responding to my messages. So as it stands could not recommend using them.

Hello, pay attention that we only receive for the tours when we do it at the end of every month.
You have paied to TripAdvisor, not to us. If we don't do the service, we don't receive either.
It is for this reason that when you have contacted us, we told you that we could not return an amount that we did not receive.
You will need to contact TripAdvisor for them to refund you.
I think your assessment is unfair because although it has nothing to do with us and it will influence our rating.

We had a wonderful time in Ponta Delgada, and Furnas. Vera , our tour guide was very knowledgeable, kind and sweet. She went the extra mile for us . It was an amazing time, with amazing people. I recommend this tour to anyone.! Is breath taking!!!
