Pick-up is free and included if in Ponta Delgada city or Nearby cities (Lagoa and Ribaira Grande) - extra fees may apllie to other Locations. We will Pick up at the cruse Ship Termial. We will be at 9 AM (other pick-up time can be set) ready for pick-up at the pier inside the Terminal on the ground level in front of the arrival gate with the Lead traveler name on a sign. Also If for any reason the ship docks at the commercial dock, will be at the Pier in front of the ship with the lead traveler name on a sign. (Please do not take any shuttle).

- Also, we would like to warn you the last row on the 4x4 vehicle is a bit difficult to get in too and the knees will be a bit high during the trip , It will not be a problem for the teenagers ,agile or smaller people, but they are the least comfortable seats, and the vehicle will be at its max.

Delfim took us on an incredible experience!
He was so knowledgeable about the Azores, their culture, history and economy along with showing us some of the best uncrowded sights. We would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone visiting the Azores.

Fantastic jeep tour with a friendly, extremely knowledgable guide named Gonsalvo (sp?) who went out of his way to show us everything he could. He was an expert at taking pictures of our group of 4, spoke good English, and had a fun sense of humor.
To top it all off, he aided helped us make a reservation for dinner at an out-of-the-way place he recommended, which turned out to be another great adventure.

My family took several tours while we were on Sao Miguel, and this one was absolutely our favorite. We visited the Furnas region, including the tea plantation, the lagoa, and the town itself. Our guide, Telmo, was exceptional—personable, knowledgeable, and funny. My two teenagers were fully engaged for the entire tour, and we could not believe the depth of Telmo’s knowledge on every subject, from agriculture, to history, to geology, and cultural traditions. We learned so much! Thank you, T4W, for an amazing introduction to Furnas and its surroundings.

Our guide was Miguel and he was perfect! We were picked up in a very clean, well maintained Toyota Land Cruiser and he gave us an overview of our excursion. We set off and had a thrilling adventure! He showed us all the highlights of the west end of the island and answered all our questions. He was informative and kind! He shared personal stories and legends of the island. We are a family of 4, with 2 girls ages 12 and 15. This tour was perfect for our family! Thanks Miguel for an unforgettable experience.

We had 2 thoroughly enjoyable half day trips with our driver Luige. His English was exceptional, his knowledge of the island was immense and he took immense pride and pleasure in showing us the island . Would recommend the tours to anyone. The off road part was fun as well!

What a great tour. Pints del gala was more than we expected. It’s a beautiful island and we got to see the crater from all around as well as around the lake below. The views from the rim were breathtaking. Our guide was a lifelong native and knew the history and answered all our questions. He was the best tour guide on our trip.

Margarita was amazing. When we met up with her, we chose together the best tour for the day based on our desires and the weather. She was informative, helpful, and fascinating. We saw so much and learned so much. She gave us some time to walk on a beautiful trail along the lake, and crammed so much into our limited time together at just the right pace. We feel that we’ve truly experienced the Eastern side of Sao Miguel, thanks to Margarita.

Delfin from T4W in Sao Miguel Azores took us in a 4x4 where tour buses can't go. He listened to our interests and gave us the tour of a lifetime. Delfin took us to a family owned buffet serving all local foods and joined us for lunch. Outstanding!
He shared with us not only the history of this beautiful island, but educated us on some foods growing wild in the hills which we got to sample for ourselves.

Our tour guide, Ruben, gave us a fabulous tour of this beautiful island. The jeep tour permitted us to safely get to the highest point on the island for amazing views and then down to the low points for views of the ocean and volcanic formations. He was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us a lot of historical and geographical insights. I highly recommend this tour for anyone not adventurous enough for hiking or quads but still anxious to get a full experience of the island.

Interessante grüne Vulkaninsel mit vielfältig schöner Tier- und Pflanzenwelt.
Sehr beeindruckend ist im Inselwesten der Blick hinunter zum Kratersee Lagoa Sete Cidades, in der Caldeira Sete Cidades, der aus zwei Teilen besteht, dem großen Lagoa Azur (blauer See) und dem kleinen Lagoa Verde (grüner See).
In der Hauptstadt Ponta Delgada sind das dreibogige Stadttor sowie die schönen Kirchen sehenswert.
Wir hatten einen sehr zuverlässigen und sympathischen Guide für unsere halbtägige Tour. Er zeigte uns in den wenigen Stunden, die wir leider nur zur Verfügung hatten, die schönen Seiten der Insel, erklärte gut und verständlich. Das Fahrzeug war komfortabel.
Ein schöner Abschluss der Tour war die Besichtigung einer Ananasplantage. Auch hier konnten wir vom Guide eine Menge über den Anbau der Ananaspflanzen erfahren.
Die gesamte Tour sowie der Guide, mit seinem umfangreichen Wissen, hat uns sehr gefallen, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Dankeschön
