Company changed the tour itinerary without informing us, so we missed the thermal pool, Santa Barbara beach and vine making place

Beautiful nature, stunning views, but we couldn’t go to the hot springs because of the rain. Our tour guide was very nice, seemed to know everything about the island, we liked the tour

Bruno is an excellent guide who took a lot of time and energy to show us around the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. A must-do experience which lets you appreciate and enjoy without hassle this paradise! Definitely recommended.

Our guide for today was Bruno of Into the Wild Azores Tours. What a sweet, gentle man and an excellent tour guide! Bruno brought us to Sete Cidades in the morning. Unfortunately, it was a gray overcast day so the colors of the lakes did not shine through but we enjoyed seeing the lake all the same. We enjoyed lunch in Lagoa and Bruno treated us to an authentic Portuguese meal in a restaurant where no one spoke English! We started with fresh bread, Sao Jorge cheese and queijo fresco a delicious white cheese specialty of the island. I enjoyed fresh grilled tuna with roasted potatoes and a light salad and for dessert, we had a delicious crunchy cake. After lunch, Bruno brought us to Lagoa do Fogo the Lake of Fire and luckily the skies had cleared. After the lake, we went to Mulher de Capote Licor liquor factory where we got to sample all different flavors of the local licors My favorite is the rice pudding licor!. Our last stop of the day was the Santa Barbara beach - so beautiful and a perfect way to end our day. Many thanks to Bruno for a wonderful day! Highly recommend this tour and especially this tour guide!.
