Your tour begins at The equestrian statue of King Louis XIV next to the Louvre museum Pyramid Your expert guide will be waiting for you at the base of the statue, holding a sign with your name or tour details for easy identification. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time

The museum may be subjected to occasional closures without previous warning from the museum management. When this occurs, we will provide guests with an appropriate alternative if the museum opening time is delayed more than 1h from the tour starting time. In these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts as entry tickets are all pre-purchased prior travel date.

Spectacular tour

Mindy’s tour was fantastic! She easily shared her depth of knowledge in a way that our entire family could understand, including my teenagers. She kept them engaged, asking them questions throughout her presentation. Not only was she knowledgeable, she truly appreciated the beauty of the art she was sharing with us and the history of the Louvre itself. She made each of the pieces she showed us seem like special treasures by emphasizing their unique qualities and their significance in art history. This tour is a great way to see the highlights of a HUGE museum in a short period of time.

Vivian was an incredible guide. Asides her knowledge we particularly appreciated her patience allowing us walk at a convenient pace and even offered that we sit and rest while she shared very insightful information about the art. We arrived 40 minutes early and never found the tour guide. We found the other members of the group, but no guide. My wife waited her whole life for this tour and left in tears. Horrible experience.

My fiance and I really enjoyed our time with Wei who made everything as easy as possible and got us right in to see the best pieces of the Louvre. There were 8 of us in the group. He gave us a lot of cool and interesting information and was very nice, we also had earbuds which helped as the place was packed, I am so glad we did this semi private tour!

A Nice Day at the Museum

We had originally signed up for a private tour but were presented with an option to either rebook or do a semi-private tour - we chose to do a semi-private tour and it was great - there were only 6 of us in our group so it wasn't overwhelming - our guide, Wei, was very knowledgeable and personable - much appreciated was how he worked hard to keep track of us all in the chaos that is the Louvre - even more appreciated was the partial refund for our tour that was already being processed by the end of the day of our tour!!

Audio devices were low quality. Therefore it was difficult to hear. It felt like the guide read through a memorized script. She was wearing a mask and constantly breathing into the mic, which also made it difficult to hear. We actually made an excuse to the guide and left midway through. We toured the rest of the museum on our own.

The Louvre is an exquisite museum although very crowded. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. She did not seem well although she did wear a mask for part of the time. We had Vox headsets with only one ear piece for the right ear. It was very difficult to hear with the crowd. Do your research and save some $$$.

Semi Private Tour worth the $$$

Worth it! This is the most efficient way to see the louvre. You skip the line for the mobs waiting for tickets and entrance. You also get to focus your time on the most interesting pieces in chronological order giving you a more fulfilling experience. Melina was a terrific guide and challenges you to look past the visual beauty and question the artist intentions and emotions they are trying to invoke while tying it to the context both the pieces time period as well as the overall artistic evolution. She was so thorough and knowledgeable. Even spent a little additional time with us so we could be sure to see the mummy!
