Our experience with Maryam as our private Lourve guide was fabulous. She was not only knowledgeable about all the art she showed us, but was an expert at navigating the museum, ensuring we made the most of our time. She share her favorite works with us which made it feel more personal and had amazing insights into each piece we discussed. The admin part of working with Viator was also seamless. 10/10 recommend, I’ll never see the Lourve any other way!
There is a lot to cover at the Louvre, from Mesopotamian artifacts to Napoleon’s apartments, from the Mona Lisa to the chamber where the jewels were stolen, from furniture and chandeliers, to tapestries and paintings. This was the first private tour through Viator in a museum that was guided by a guide who did not have an art history degree or background, and while we understand no guide can know about everything in the Louvre, we would have appreciated a guide who knew about the French art, paintings, and artifacts. While she was very nice, we did not have the experience we have come to know through Viator..
We went on a tour with Maryam. It was fun. She hit all the highlights and we stayed a bit longer to enjoy the Renaissance.
Lou is an amazing and very knowledgeable Tour Guide! She took us to all of the places in the museum that we wanted to see. She also gave us important background information on each piece of art we saw. And she is very friendly! We highly recommend her!
Our guide was very informative but way too much information. Way too much. Would’ve been better if she had just given us highlights and not gone into so much depth.
Kasia was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed our tour of the highlights of the Louvre. With all of the crowds and lines, we felt like it was worth paying for the private guide!
Our Private Guided Tour of the Louvre Museum was the best. The museum is the largest in the world by size and attendance and our guide Lou, had in-depth knowledge and experience of the art and artists. She showed us masterpieces like the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo among countless others. She was intimately familiar with the floor plan had the ability to move us from one work of art to the next very easily. Her classical education contributed to her ability to impart an incredible amount of knowledge about the art and artists to us in a short time. She gave us a most memorable and amazing tour and imparted to us an immense amount art history and unforgettable information about the museum and its priceless “unique in all the world” collection. She reflects great credit on herself and her company Viator.
Kasia was extremely competent and knowledgable. We viewed the Louvre highlights and took away a deeper understanding of who, what, where, and how these works of art came to live in France’s greatest museum.

We had a very good experience with our private tour guide Addie at the Louvre Museum. We requested to see all of the main highlights of the museum and she did just that. Addie was very knowledgeable about the works of arts that we viewed. I would highly recommend taking a private tour of the Louvre to get most out of the experience.

We had a great time on our private Louvre visit. Joanna was extremely knowledgeable and made it fun for the kids. We've taken other tours, and we all greatly appreciated the headsets. We were able to hear everything clearly and really enjoy our time at the museum.
We booked a last minute tour with Viator to The Louvre and it worked out perfectly. We met our guide, Addie, at the agreed upon spot at the agreed upon spot and that was the last thing we needed to worry about.
Addie knew we only have a 2 hour tour so she made sure to prioritize specific works of art (Nike, Venus, and the Mona Lisa). She was extremely knowledgeable and we did not have a down second at all
Everything was fine but unfortunately there were a number of areas closed in the louvre due to the heat and also the recent robbery so we couldn’t view the Crown Jewels . Our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. We’ll have to come back another time

Wonderful experience! We had only a sort time in Paris and Maryam took us around the Louvre expertly. In two hours she ensured we saw all the key masterpieces as well as many other highlights. She did a excellent job being efficient without it feeling rushed. If you only have a short time available-this is the tour to use!
Unless you are an art expert, it is definitely advisable to use a guide. Addie was our guide and she was very knowledgable and informative. Plus she was able to move us quickly through the museum, pointing out the most famous and/or the ones the Louvre is most proud of owning. She was a plus plus!!
Lou was amazing and gave us lots of information about the art and museum. We would book again with her. Even after the tour was done she told us to check other exhibits and gave us a map
Addie did a great job of getting us through the maze of gallery rooms at the Louvre efficiently to see key works of art in a fraction of the time that it would have us on our own. Plus, she was extremely knowledgeable about the things that made the art so notable. Addie was super friendly and helped us see the items that were most interesting to us
The private evening tour is the way to go. The Louvre is huge and always crowded. But it is less so in the evening. Our guide, Kasia, did a marvelous job leading us to main artworks like the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, the Mona Lisa, and Delacroix’s Lady Liberty. Her knowledge of the Louvre was astounding. Including use of lifts for the mobility impaired members of our group.

You could spend days exploring the Louvre, however if you are looking for a tour that gives you highlights, this is the tour for you. Addie was the best tour guide ever-enthusiast, professional, knowledgeable and engaging. We had so much fun with her. We took the 9am tour and were able to get access to the Mona Lisa before it was super crowded. We cannot recommend this tour and specifically Addie, enough.
Addie was wonderful! We did a private tour for two. Having been to the Louvre before we wanted to see some different things. She took us to things we had never seen before. We also do not have much time. She moved swiftly and efficiently. Highly recommend, great tour!
