VICTORIA_L, Aug 2025
Addie did a great job getting us in the Louve and explaining all the artwork that we saw. Her accent was easy to understand. I would definitely take another tour with her.

Great guide and wonderful way to learn about a sample of what the Louvre offers.

Jennifer_O, May 2025
Having a guided tour was hugely helpful, and made the enormous and gorgeous Louvre much more manageable. Rather than wandering aimlessness, we were led by our knowledgeable guide Hamish to multiple works of art, both the must-sees like Winged Victory and the Venus de Milo as well as some lesser-known pieces. He gave a little information about each, enough to feel we learned a bit without being overwhelmed. Since it was a skip the line tour, we gained quick entry, and after the tour we were free to roam the louvre in our own. Definitely recommend!

Good Edited Tour of the Louvre

John_W, May 2025
This tour was a really good experience. The tour started on time and the premium entry was easy. The tour is of course a highly edited one that focuses on some of the more significant pieces in the museum. We saw five da Vinci paintings, including, sort of, the Mona Lisa, which was surrounded by crowds. A few words of caution. First, there is nothing the tour companies can do about the crowds, which are extensive. Second, there are a lot of stairs. Our guide was a young woman who moved fast and had no trouble scurrying up and down many flights of stairs. As a senior with a very bad knee, I made it, but know this if you are going. Anyone with significant mobility issues should probably avoid this tour. All that said, it was a great experience and very educational.

That it is worth the money and very informative. The small groups (12 of us) means you get more attention from the guide. Toni our guide was amazing! I have a bad leg so I go slower she made sure to point out benches to sit on when available. On the way out she found an elevator for us to go down to the exit. We were to meet her on the main floor and she would show us the way out. Unfortunately we missed her. Toni we waited so sorry we missed you. If you send us a address I would like to send you a Thank you note.

Info overload

Rhonda_N, Mar 2025
Be prepared to stand amongst lots of people when viewing the art. Our guide tried to find locatoons for best viewing.

Great guide makes all the difference

Everyone doesn't get the same instructions for the tour. I received my ticket but my traveling group didn't. Then it was suppose to be 28 in the group it was 8.

Great Tour

artfulvision, Dec 2024
An exceptional tour guide who navigated us through the Louvre with ease. The crowds are significant, so when you have a chance to see the highlights with a guide, then stay eat lunch and visit more - do yourself a favor - sign up with the company.

Wonderful afternoon at the museum

Sal_M, Dec 2024
Guide was exceptional historian with advanced knowledge of the artists and the art work. She focused on the important pieces and made the visit to the Louvre a delightful experience.

Top Notch!

Heidi_G, Nov 2024
Our guide, Florence, made this tour phenomenal. She was professional, enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and very interesting. She knows her stuff! And, she was very aware of and accommodating to the people in her group. I was worried when I read that the tour was not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility limitations, but one of the first things she asked us was if anyone had trouble walking. She slowed the tour down a bit and asked if I was okay a few times. My husband and I learned so much from her and appreciated focusing on a few significant areas and pieces. Without the tour, I can see that the Louvre would be very overwhelming. Merci beaucoup!

Don’t miss out on this one!

Laura_B, Oct 2024
Having a guide for our first visit to Le Louvre was very helpful. Our guide expertly led us to all the signature pieces for first timers and was able to give a brief history too. We were left wanting more and plan to return. Highly recommend this tour.

Disappointed with this tour n tour guide

cnmobiledentist, Oct 2024
The tour actually started at 2:20pm with a 1:30 - 4:30 pm time slot. It ended at 4:30pm so in my opinion we were gypped out of an hour of this tour. It was hard to find the guy holding a small blue flag at the meeting place. We arrived 15 minutes prior to the meet up time. We did find the city wonders guy n he sent us inside to meet up with the tour guide. She was very confused n kept calling me Patrick. Even though I was giving her my name. I kept giving her my name numerous times n then she disappeared for about 5 minutes to go n check if we were on her list. When she came back she did say we were in her tour. There were 2 more groups who we then waited for who were late. The tour guide was very hard to understand her English. She was rude and not very helpful to any of our questions. Our group of 4 were very disappointed with what she concentrated on showing us. She spent way too long on art pieces she obviously liked. We have been to the Lourve before on a tour n that one was great. This tour was not good at all.:(

Don’t miss it!

Corine_S, Sep 2024
It was one of my high lights in Paris. If I get to go again I will visit the louvre again experiencing more as I needed more time to see it all. I loved it!

Nazli is a great guide

BettyJo_H, Sep 2024
Nazli was the best guide. The Louvre is huge and very crowded. With her distinctive doll paddle I never lost sight of her and her ability to navigate the crowds was extraordinary. Even with the huge crowd in front of the Mona Lisa we got a front row view. Amazing. She is very knowledgeable about the art and provided a lot of insite. She would use the less crowded works to illustrate what we would see when we got to the more crowded works. She went above and beyond in every way and made the whole experience wonderful.

Informative efficient

Clint_H, Sep 2024
Information shared by the tour guide was very interesting. She was well spoken and always ready to answer any questions we had. The best way to tour the louvre for sure.

Very good

THOMAS_L, Sep 2024
Hitting all the key statues, pictures etc. guide was knowledgeable. So big was the louvre. Hard to see all

Excellent experience

Karl_D, Aug 2024
Our tour guide, Maxim was extremely knowledgeable, respectful & informative. Well paced presentation.

Amazing Tour Guide

Janet_A, Jun 2024
I forgot my tour guide’s name. It sounded like the name Juan, but I don’t think that was his name. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He even stayed with us an hour after the tour was done. I feel bad that I didn’t have any cash on me to give him a tip, so I hope this review helps him get a raise. He was honestly the best tour guide we could’ve had at the Louvre!

Good experience.

Janet_K, Jun 2024
Guide was excellent and funny. Showed us highlights. Seeing the Mona Lisa was a mob scene...they can do better. We missed our reserved tour but we're able to join the next one. Thank you.

Louve Tour

Jeffrey_B, May 2024
Tour guide was great,, had fun,,, good idea for the "highlights" of the Louve. What else do you want me to say "Viator" to leave my review? The tour was as expected,,, decent,, slightly over priced but, the tour guide was fun.

Poor service

charles_s, Apr 2024
It seems unfair to give the company a poor rating when we in fact didn’t even utilize the service. The problem was that we arrived, but took one metro stop too soon and had to walk further than we thought. We arrived at the meeting place one minute after the prescribed time. We got a call from the company three minutes after we are supposed to be at the prescribe time telling us that the Tour Guide was looking for us. I told the person on the phone that we were in fact at the meeting place looking for the Tour Guide. he said that the Tour Guide had already gotten in line and was gaining access to the Louv. I have been to the Louvre so many times I know that was a lie. Even if you have, let’s say a 1030 arrival time you will still spend at least 20 minutes in line waiting to get in. We searched the area for the Guide in line and were told that he would have a city of wonders flag. No one in line had any flag and no one had any identifiable markings to let us know who they were. It was very frustrating. The cost was not that great but we lost out on getting into the Louvre that day , so $135 down the drain. Anyway, I’m sure the Guide was great but we really felt betrayed because they didn’t say come five minutes before the departure time they said come at the departure time and we were literally 60 seconds late. I have the call log to document when the company called so I’m not just blowing smoke. I feel if they have a client that’s not there and they called them. They could wait two or three minutes, especially when the client says that they’re at the meeting place. The meeting place was at the carousel, which is literally 200 yards away from the entrance of the Louvre. It would’ve been easy for them to put up their flag and wave it around so that we could find them. it’s very disappointing and shows that they have very little concern for customer service.

Great experience

Jasmen_H, Apr 2024
Well worth it! Hamish was very knowledgeable and had a gracefulness that was very appealing. The museum is so large that we only saw a portion. But liked that we could stay after the tour was done.

Was suppose to be semi private group but had 25 people in it which was way too big

Shari_D, Apr 2024
Saw main highlights of museum but hard to enjoy due to group size hard to see and stay with group museum was very crowded.

Ok

Bret_S, Mar 2024
They merged 12 of our group with 13 others for 25 total Not semi private like they promised , not the guides fault but hard to keep up with him with that many people.

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Deborah_K, Mar 2024
We missed our semi-private tour and were re-scheduled on a group tour with Omar! We loved the art and stories he told about the painters and the history. Two kids 9 and 11 were with us and really enjoyed the 3 hour guided- they weren’t bored for a minute!
