Small group and a great guide. Milica our tour guide was informative and personable and in addition to a detailed tour gave us some great insider paris suggestions.
Communication with both tour guide and operator were excellent. They had to reschedule our original time, contacted us on a timely basis, were responsive, and gave us alternatives. All in all good experience.
We have been through Notre Dame more than 10 years ago, way before the fire, and seeing it today with like it for the first time. The restoration is nothing short of amazing, the inside is now clean and so brightas it was when it was first built. Our tour guide, Elena, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of building both before and after the fire and made this experience, not only very educational, but even more spiritual! We highly recommend this tour!
It is very good. However we felt a little rushed in the cathedral. Guide was very knowledgeable but seemed like she wanted to get Don as soon as possible
We purchased three tickets for a tour of Notre Dame that was billed as an “Interior Small Group Guided Tour Max 5 Participants” that was to begin at 8:45 am at a total cost of $245.10. Three days before the tour we were notified that the time had been changed to 1:00 pm. When we arrived at the appointed location there were 11 people scheduled for the tour, not the max 5 we booked and paid for. Had we known this was to happen we would have booked a large group tour at a lower price.
Our tour guide, Milica, was superb. She was passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Notre Dame, its construction, the art work, relics, the fire and the reconstruction. Our friend who joined us on this tour is a true Francophile who speaks French fluently. She was extremely impressed with Milica and said she learned a great deal as did my husband and I.
In summary, we were extremely pleased to have Milica as our tour guide and unsatisfied with Viatour because we did not have the small group experience we had booked and paid for.

Regarding the small-group experience, the situation was due to a last-minute change in Notre-Dame Cathedral’s access rules. Under the new rules, groups of five could no longer benefit from skip-the-line entry.
For this reason, we combined several small groups into a larger one so that everyone could still enjoy skip-the-line access. In other words, while the group was larger than originally planned, the benefit you received was the skip-the-line entry, which replaced the original small-group advantage.
We hope this helps clarify the situation, and we appreciate your understanding.

The best part of this experience is our sweet, knowledgeable guide, Isabelle. She let me borrow her jacket too, as of today, they stopped women who doesn't have shoulder coverings at the door. Highly recommended.

This was a great way to experience Notre Dame. Our 5 person tour ended up being just my wife and I as 3 people were no shows. Sylvia gave us not only an in depth look, but all the important historical events that lead us to Notre Dame of today.
She carefully explained the impacts of the 2019 fire and more importantly all of the miracles of areas and items with no or little damage that were found in the aftermath of this tragic event.
Her upbeat personality and passion for sharing the story was evident.

A small group tour is the perfect way to experience Notre Dame de Paris. Visitors are expected to keep voices down inside the cathedral so the guide must speak softly. Roman, our experienced guide did an excellent job guiding us around the perimeter while highlighting areas of interest and answering all of our questions.
Being able to learn more about the history of the construction and reconstruction of the Notre Dame is the way to go with Viator. Loved our personal tour guide! Recommend going early if possible.
