We booked the Exterior Guided Walking tour which was supposed to last approx. 1 hr 45 mins. If it lasted 20 mins it was a lot!!!!!
Diana our tour guide kept telling the 5 in our group that we were her last tour 3:30 & she was exhausted!!! She showed us the front and the right side of the cathedral only. She then showed us pictures from the fore on her multifractured IPhone that was also too small & dark to see anything!!! A few pics were shown on her IPad that also had multi cracks so pics were unclear!!!!! I can’t complain enough & STRONGLY feel we deserve a REFUND!!! I would give this tour with Diana a Zero if I could!!!!!
We have used Viator several times in the past & have always been satisfied but definitely Not this time!!

The tour was well worth the time and money. You aren’t guided into the Cathedral with the Viator rep you need to wait in the long line BUT the line moves VERY fast.

I can’t say because the tour did not happen. The tour guide did not show up and we did not see Notre Dame. I contacted both Viator and the tour company and got no response from either. Very disappointing.

Tour guide somewhat knowledgeable, but very late meeting us; she seemed disorganized and perhaps blindsided, herself. Temp was above 90+ on Parisian holiday, huge crowds of misinformed and confused ppl, a big mistake.. Provided NO water, stood in sun for 1 1/2 hrs, then were sent to “back of the line” w/ other tour groups; if this was supposed to be a “skip the lines” exclusive tour, it DID NOT WORK! Even poor tour guide was frustrated… This was awful. After almost 2hrs in sweltering sun, we threw in the towel and walked away, forfeiting $120 that we’d paid for our “special” tickets. Not sure if this was a scam (don’t think so) or just a particularly overwhelming, unlucky day. So disappointed that we did not get to go inside Notre Dame, had really looked forward to it.
Do not recommend.

Our guide was amazing and made the experience 100% worth it. She went above and beyond to answer questions and point out interesting facts about the place. Salome was the best tour guide we have had on this trip and I would recommend her to anyone.

We had a wonderful tour given by our guide, Salome. She was very knowledgeable about the outside structures of the cathedral and showed pictures to explain the details. It was very interesting learning about the fire of 2018 and the reconstruction.

Pleasant attitude and some interesting history about the founding of Paris and the beginning of the Catholic presense from Bruno. He explained the figures on the front face of the church. Would have liked more information about the restoration after the fire.

I would give this zero stars if I could. We arrived at the meeting place early and waited and waited for the guide to show up. After endless communications with the Viator “Help” messaging and attempts to reach the tour guide, we gave up and walked through Notre Dame without a tour guide. The topping on everything is that Viator has the nerve to email ME that I was a “no show”! I’ve always had amazing experiences with Viator. Not this time!

The guide did not show. We were at the Charlemagne statue at 1035 am for our 1100 am tour. We were told to look for a pink flag. No pink flag and we approached every tour asking if they were “Paris lounge” the activity provider. We finally called Paris lounge at about 1120 am and the person who answered said she could only take a message. She said she would forward the message and the tour provider would return our call. They never did. It was VERY disappointing to miss this Notre Dame experience. I’m requesting a refund.

once the tour started the guide was pleasant and knowledgeable and open to questions. However she was 15 minutes late and we had no way to contact her. Our next guide at Montartre was a complete no show. Overall we have had a good experience with Viator in other cities but Paris was not so

The exterior tour of Notre-Dame was very well organized. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history clearly and passionately.

This tour was cancelled 1 hour after stated start time. I arrived 1/2 hour early for this tour and waited 1 hour for the tour to start. A company representative finally came and said the guide was sick and we would be credited. After multiple calls to Viator, they refused to crest the fee.
I have done dozens of tours with Viator, but will not use the again due to this horrendous customer experience!

Do not recommend - this was not what we paid for.
The tour lasted only 20 minutes with a limited explanation of the history and some éléments of the exterior. No interior tour; we were asked to do by ourselves.

It was freezing on 1/6/26 and we were waiting for the tour guide - as instructed since 2:15. When she came 10 minutes late she then informed us that we would be out in the cold for yet another 30 minutes, hearing a diatribe that she could have given to us inside the church where it was warm. Thusly no one really paid attention as it was freezing.
Other than that it was fine.

Our group was cancelled and we knew nothing about the cancellation until we arrived in the freezing weather. The guide was apologetic but could do nothing to rectify the situation.
