    This was a fantastic tour and our guide was funny and knowledgeable. It was an extremely hot day and we were given time for stops and to buy water when necessary.

    The guide never showed up for our tour. We waited 30 minutes. How do I get a refund? This is the first time after many Viator tours that this has happened!

I’d like to clarify what our records show for that day: Our guide was at the designated meeting point from 3:45pm to 4:15pm. As you were not present by the departure time, the tour had to begin without you. The guide also tried to reach you on the phone number provided in your booking, but unfortunately the call could not go through. We completely understand how disappointing it is to miss a tour. In these cases, the most effective step is to contact customer service directly through your booking. That allows us to look into solutions right away. Per Viator’s policy, refunds are not guaranteed when a guest misses the tour due to late arrival. That said, we’re willing to contact Viator on your behalf to request a goodwill refund review. To keep things fair for everyone involved, we kindly ask that you consider updating your review to reflect the circumstances, as the guide was present and followed all stated procedures.
