Itinerary
Start your day with a convenient pickup from central Paris. Then, with your fellow travelers and guide, head toward the village of Giverny.
Explore the picturesque village, made famous by the impressionist Monet, and wander through the artist’s home and inspiring water lily garden with your guide.
Afterward, relax and absorb the surroundings as you stop for lunch and the Moulin de Fourges, before hopping back aboard your vehicle for the journey to Versailles.
Here, explore the magnificent Palace of Versailles and discover how kings and queens lived in the 17th- and 18th-centuries. Follow your guide through the enormous residence, through the apartments of the Dauphin and Dauphine, to the famous Hall of Mirrors. Continue outside to the breathtakingly ornate gardens and be dazzled by fountains, sculptures, and beguiling topiary.
Finally, head back to central Paris where your tour concludes.

It was so so lunch was good but the tour guide wasn’t so engaging. I was dropped off at a closed metro and ended taking an uber. I wouldn’t recommend this tour.
Alexandra our guide was awesome! The minivan had good air-conditioning which was needed during the Paris heat wave. Alex had us in to see Monet's house 1st up, minimal crowds not too hot, then the beautiful gardens and water watergarden. We had ample time to view both and get gifts from the gift shop. Lunch was simple, good wines ample time to enjoy and again beat the crowds. Versailles was busy but Alex guided us through with informative commentary. Great tour, highly recommend.
Wonderful day out, Giverny, followed by a 3 course lunch and then Versailles. Our driver, Anil, was very patient in the Parisian traffic. Our guide, Bertrand, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The meeting place was easy to find and the coach was very nice. The gardens at Versailles were huge and you could never fit in the whole garden in the time but we had enough time to explore and it was very hot!
Great time frame and organization. Wonderful tour guide, Camille, who as engaged, friendly and knowledgeable.

We were in an 8 passenger van driven by our guide, Carmence. She was GREAT! Shared lots of history of Giverny, Monet, Versailles. The lunch venue was beautiful, the food delicious! Only comment is that we wish we had more time in the gardens at Versailles.

Although the sites and garden are beautiful, the crowds were too much! The traffic did not help with the situation.
This was a great day experiencing the French countryside and Versailles. Our tour guide was fine. She seemed knowledgeable but there was a lot of static on the the transmitter that made it very hard to hear her and she often seemed in a hurry to finish and move on.
Giverny and the lunch stop were beautiful and incredibly enjoyable. Versaille castle was super crowded and, although beautiful the experience was definitely diminished by all the people and the need to be on guard all the time. The gardens outside were incredible and we wished we had more time to explore them. Overall a really good experience!
This was a return trip to Giverny and Versailles - but it had been many years and we enjoyed having our son and his wife with us to experience it too. My husband's mobility is compromised this year so we had a TravelScoot with us for him to get around. We were delighted how the guide could get us through Versailles (with some behind the scenes elevators). Giverny was harder (gravel roads, etc.), but found a lovely place to stop and get a quick bite at the end of the tour time.
Lunch with friends was the most enjoyable. There were too many people at Giverny and Versailles. Au revoir.
This tour was advertised as a small group of 1-8 people. Fine pint said no more than 15 people… This was a regular tour bus with 34 people onboard for the entire tour. We paid nearly €300 per person for a SMALL group experience. We could have paid far less by picking the regular option and we would have saved money and experienced the same. Bait and switch.
This is a very good day expedition! I touted itself as a "small group" (less than 8), but clearly several "small groups" were combined, as there were more like 20-25 people. But, the adventure itself is very well organized and delightful. Giverny is simply beautiful! It is pretty far from Paris, but worth the bus ride. And Versailles is a crowded "must-see," made more enjoyable with the skip-the-line group advantage. I must say that my favorite part of the day was the lunch stop at an excellent restaurant in Normandy, which included great food and wine. This trip is pricey, but well worth it, even with a bit bigger group than advertised.
Giverny is so worth a visit —simply beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the poor organization of the company including not providing the small group promised of 1-15 but rather well over 20 people, a late start to day, no working air conditioning on bus(uncomfortably warm) overshadowed what could have been a great day. Versailles is nice but was extremely crowded and we only had 1 1/2 hours total to see palace and gardens since we arrived late. Lunch was nice- food was ok—wine was not spectacular—wish we would have been outside on patio as it was a nice day. Instead we were in a smallish room.
Nice trip. Good tour guide. A bit disorganized with rough start. The bus picked up extra guests and they moved our stuff for absolutely no reason. Parts were rushed. Meal was just ok.
Everything went very smoothly! Madame Marie-Amelia was so patient and informative- even with an infant in the group. Would definitely recommend this excursion.
I was a solo traveler and the trip was awesome! The guide was awesome. He drove us in minivan to Versailles and took care of entry and everything and gave us a private tour of the palace and then drove us to Giverny’s B&B where our lunch had been arranged and cost included in the booking. We had peaceful lunch at scenic B&B with some open seating at a garden with live music and some good French wine and food! Then the guide drove us to Monet’s village and he left us and gave us plenty of time to explore the garden and house and village! While driving back to Paris, he gave us some good pointers on sightseeing in Paris!
Great driver and guide. Had a wonderful self tour of Monet's Gardens and House with ample time. A really nice lunch in a country setting. And then a real nice overview tour of Versailles, especially the Palace and outside Gardens. The whole day was enjoyable!
I would not recommend this tour if traveling to Paris the day before via airlines. Our flight was delayed over 12 hours due to mechanical issues. We called Viator immediately upon realizing we couldn't make the tour, and they refused to provide a credit. Very disappointed in Viators customer service and therefore would not recommend Viator to others.
I am so glad that I booked this tour. I didn't have to worry about getting to these attractions, everything was done for me. Our tour guide was very informative and knew exactly what to do. The lunch that we had was amazing. I felt sorry for all the people that had to waste their time standing in a long line!
Pamela our guide made sure we enjoyed the tour. We were a group of six and she kept us engaged the entire time on a very long day. Hitting both places in one day was ambitious but Pamela knew all the ways to make the day run smoothly and efficiently. Although she herself gave the guided tour of Versailles, She provided us ample time to wander own our own in the palace gardens and at Monet’s house and garden. Great tour. Interesting and informative and allowed us to have only one day outside of Paris instead of two, which worked well with out schedule. If there were any shortcoming on the trip, it is the lunch. Gorgeous and charming setting, but the entre left something to be desired. Otherwise, we loved the tour in every way.
The tour successfully contrasted the simplicity of Giverny to the opulence of Versailles Excellent guide who made sure we had not only an enjoyable but also an informative day. Small group was ideal.Transfer well organised and lunch quality so far above any tour lunch I have experienced. Would highly recommend.
This was a fantastic experience!! It was quite a lot to do in one day, but it was well worth it. Our group was small, which makes such a big difference, and our guide was very knowledgeable about Versailles.

I cannot rave about this tour enough. Seeing both INCREDIBLE sights in one day is essential & this tour is the only one for it! Our tour guide Nick was nothing short of amazing & made our tour so special. He was informative, helpful & not at all annoying like some tour guides can be, The place they take you to for lunch was phenomenal & so incredibly gorgeous. The van is very spacious & the air conditioning is great (& essential!) This tour is worth every penny & I could not recommend it enough. Request Nick as your guide for the best tour ever!
