We never got a vineyard tour we paid for
Then he only visited one wine shop in Paris
And had us stand for 2 hours talking more about cheese than wine.

This was easily the highlight of our trip. My wife and I met our tour guide Jullien and he was the best. We walked through Montmarte and enjoyed great wines, but that wasn't even the best part. We learned so much history and fun facts. Walking through the Montmarte neighborhood with a local and enjoying wines at local spots, we felt totally immersed into Paris culture. I highly recommend this. It will be the most interesting and fun 3 1/2 hours. We enjoyed it so much, we purchased some additional cheese and meats at our last stop and enjoyed some more wine. What made it nice was that Jullien was so passionate about his city and the history. That passion was contagious and we can't wait to go back. I would absolutely do this event again, just as long as Jullien were our tour guide. A must!!!!!

This was an excellent tour where we learned about the wines of the varied wine regions in France through hands on experience at our varied stops. We learned about the history of the Paris - left bank area we walked through as we went between stops. We learned the French regions that we need to be acquiring wines from - per our tastes, as we go back to the U.S. We highly recommend this tour if you enjoy and want to learn about French wines.

We chose a wine tasting for our honeymoon trip and absolutely loved it! We learned so much and had a fun time. Thanks to Jean Claude for sharing his knowledge with us!
John S, Dec 2015
Our guide was very knowledgable about French wines. He gave us a great deal of information, not only about wines, but about the Montemarte as well . He was a nice guy., and it was a fun afternoon.
Mark S, Oct 2015
Suzanne was awesome! We learned a ton about the Montmartre area and about French wines. We have a new appreciation for both.

While it was a rainy day, it was a great walking tour. Toured the Left Bank and Jean-Claude was an excellent guide AND an excellent wine master. Very informative about the area, history, the wine regions of France and educating us on how to better understand the wine regions and also how to get the most of our tasting experience. Made three stops at local wine bars and tasted three different wines. Great experience.

This was a fantastic experience and a highlight of our fabulous but short stay in Paris.
Our guide Elizabeth was not only delightful but she was incredibly informative. We learnt so much. She took us on a journey of understanding and appreciating French Wine. We visited 3 wine bars and the journey unfolded over that time. She tailored the wines to our tastes.
We loved the setting in the Left Bank. Neither of us had been there before which made it even more special. We particularly loved that my sister and I had Elizabeth all to ourselves!
It was a fabulous experience and I would recommend it highly to anyone with a keen interest in wine!

This was really fun. Our guide, Jean, was knowledgeable and interesting. The wines we tasted were good. I recommend this tour!

Jean was very knowledgable about both the history of wine, and the Montmortre area. It's a beautiful part of Paris that we never would have explored had it not been for this tour.

A delicious and superb afternoon with Charlotte! It was just my wife and I...Charlotte took us to some great local spot, we sampled some great wines and took in some great scenery and enjoyable shop along the way. What a wonderful way to be introduced to some of Paris's local/off the touristy routes. Merci Beaucoup Charlotte! à bientôt !

Most fun part of our trip. Met Elizabeth our guide in a great neighborhood outside the tourist zone of Paris. Elizabeth was highly knowledgable and a great guide. Money well spent.
Claire L, Jan 2014
There were only 2 of us on the tour. Charlotte was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable about wines from France and also knew about the area. We felt that we learnt not only about wine and the Left Bank but about life as a Parisian.

Another of our favorite tours on our trip. We had booked this tour assuming there would be 6-10 people on the tour, but we got very lucky and it was just the two of us and our guide. Since it was just the 3 of us, we were able to take our time and enjoy our guide's extensive wine knowledge and knowledge of the history of the area. We drank glasses of wine and walked and talked and had a terrific day. We know the tour ran longer then its scheduled time, but that's because we were enjoying each other's company so much that we ended up just sitting at cafes and chatting while drinking (and learning) about wine. A great great great tour!

Tour was excellent! We learned so much about wine. He guided us through the different smells in a very unique way that we all enjoyed. We were shown how to taste the wine and pick up the different tastes. We learned that when ordering wine in France you order by region not grape. He was willing to answer all our questions and we never felt rushed. He spoke about the part of the city we were in which was very interesting. This was definitely a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend to anyone who was interested in wine. Our guide was outstanding!
Dominique G, Sep 2013
Great tour, learned a lot about wine tasting, great guide.
Bruce P, Jun 2013
This is the most over price tour you can take. $300.00 for two. We went to 3 bars. Had one different glass of wine at each. I had to buy Cheese at the last one as the 4 of us needed something. Told us where the grapes were grown - very little else. Terrible - These people could have included a lunch and so many other things to justify the price. Don't bother

We spent a wonderful three-and-a-half hours with Karim on this tour. He certainly is a professional wine enthusiast and is passionate about sharing his knowledge of wines. We enjoyed walking through the Mouffetard area (5th arrondissement) of Paris and then spending time at two bars becoming immersed in the dos and don’ts of French white and red wines. Karim was extremely likeable and pleasant, and was very attuned to his group’s lack of or minimal knowledge of wines. He made sure that every member of the group understood what he was saying by never moving onto a new concept too quickly. His games were fun and it makes one want to continue learning more about wines and even wine pairings with different foods. Thoroughly enjoyable and very worthwhile!
John M, May 2012
Our guide was really knowledgable. He was pleasant and discussed more than just wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
LEEANNE K, Nov 2011
Fantastic had a great time, althought I feel that at the last stop some nibbles should be provided, with the wine.
Alayna O, May 2011
This was a terrible experience. If our guide knew anything about wine, she did NOT share it with us. We went to three average cafes that we could have found on our own and had average wine without an explanation. She wasn't even able to answer our most basic questions about wine. Most disappointing thing we did on our trip! And it was what I was looking forward to the most. Do NOT recommend at all!
Monique B, May 2011
Karim gave us an excellent crash course in French wines. In addition to tasting some truly remarkable French wine, we also got to see a few historical wine "secrets" along the way.

Our guide, Kirim was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about both the wines he selected and the sights of the area. Tour lasted 4+ hours and could have gone even longer. I highly recommend it!
Mary Y, Apr 2011
We really enjoyed Kirim and the wines he chose and his company. Great tour.
Carla M, Feb 2011
Great wine tour - we were treated to a private tour with a very knowledgeable guide Karim. He took us to the off the beaten restaurants and wine bars with a stop at a gorgeous church en route. We were signed up for three hours but the tour lasted close to 4 hours - a real bonus. We enjoyed three unique wines that are not readily found in the U.S. Would highly recommend this tour!
Mary G, Oct 2010
We met our guide, Charlotte, on an old cobblestone street in the middle of Paris on the Left Bank. She took us to three different bars showing us how to smell the wine before we taste it. She also taught us how to describe the odors that we found there. She incorporated some to the sites and history of Paris along with the wine tasting. My husband and I really enjoyed the time that we spent with our guide. Charlotte was friendly and informative. It was a good time had by all. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
