Please note that due to actual traffic situation in Paris the real Pick-up may take place up to 15 minutes later than the time indicated on the voucher. Pick up location will be from the hotel or Private residence in Paris (Zip code must start by 75), should the address be provided to us at least 72 hours (local time) prior to tour's departure. Without the accommodation address and if booking is made less than 72 hours (local time) prior to departure, the pick up will be at 18 Avenue de Suffren, 75015 Paris.

Your 3-day tour from Paris to the popular French regions of Normandy and the Loire Valley includes comfortable coach transportation, accommodation at 3-star hotels in the towns of Angers and Tours, and most meals, including lunch at Relais Saint-Michel, where you can admire views of Mont St-Michel while you eat. You’ll have free time to get other meals on your own.
With your informative guide, travel first to Mont St-Michel, a World Heritage site famous for its unique setting on a tiny rocky island. Then on days two and three, visit some of the Loire Valley’s many castles, including Château de Langeais, Château du Clos Lucé, Château de Chenonceau and Château de Chambord.

The two guides we had on the trip were both excellent. They have a great knowledge of all the places we visited and made the trip enjoyable. I have to say the description of the trip was not very complete. I think Viatour could do better in explaining the accommodations and food included. We did have two lunches included and both times they served us fish with no other choices. It was a set menu. Since I don't eat fish, I felt it was a waste of money. They should at least give us two or three choices. Same with dinner. Also, we were not with the same people or guides the whole time. They picked people up from one chateau and others left during that time. It was confusing. I also wish we had gone for only two days as three days of castle touring was too much. We had two nights in a hotel. Both were the Mercer chain. Not bad. The rooms were clean but nothing fancy. The internet was annoying as you had to keep logging in. The buses were fine although we had to change buses after the first day.
We had a fantastic trip to Mont St-Michel and the Loire Valley Chateaux's. The trip was well organized and our guide was great. We had a full bus for Mont Sain-Michel but then transferred to another bus for the Loire Valley with 10 people. Accomodations good. Highly recommend. Good value!
Excelent tour, grat guide and comfortable all the time
Mont st michel good, guide had poor English skills and turned away from the hand held mic all the time so you only heard a third of what she had to say, when approached she said it was the best she could do. This tour also has lots of stairs and we had people with issues and the guide just left them behind, for the more abled to help which really wasn't our 'job'.
Changed guides in the afternoon for the chateaux which was good she was very clear and very good English and wore a head mic.
Still didn't deal with people with issues or who were lateconstantly accomodation was variable, not a fan of 60cm single beds!
Couples got much better rooms than singles.meals were bland and uninspiring.
Most of the chateaux were good except for Chambord which was not of the same quality, and has not really been renovated ok if you are into turrets.
Villandry gardens were amazing.
The locations visited were fabulous. It was disappointing that the 3 day trip was made up from people doing 1 day, 2 days or 3 days, with different people and buses changing frequently. Time spent at some of the locations wasn't enough, particularly Mont St-Michel. It would have been better not to have a sit down 3 course lunch at any location as this took too much time. The guides were difficult to understand as their english wasn't the best. One guide was sick and coughing all the time, he was rude and unhelpful.
Our guide .on the first day, I had forgotten his name, but was great and ensured we were well informed of the monastery. On the last 2 days Elina was amazing. She was made me feel as if we were a family of closely related people and not strangers. She gave me so much insight of a caring person who really enjoyed our company as well. She was most informative, knowledgable and had appropriate answers to any questions. At concluding I felt that she was sad to see our trip end even though the traffic back to Paris was horrendous. 4 hours for 150ks. Thank you for a great trip.
Local tpur operator, Cityrama, was a little ovetrwhelmed with all the morning tours departing at the same time and did little to inform or assure passengers thougj they did manage to sort it all out and depart only 10 minutes late. Mont St Michel was a wonderful venue, despite the long drive from Paris. Lunch was disappointing though. Might be a good idea to let people know the level of physical agility required. Guide (Pascale) really brought a lot of interest to the tour. Following 2 days in the Loire was mixed. Could've done without the entire 1st day itinerary and swapped it for a winery tour and a tour of a Troglodite village. Day 2 with the 3 chateaux however was great. In general, it was a little annoying to have the constant commentary being translated into 4 languages. Smaller groups of same language might help?
This was a very good tour. The hotels were very modern, nice and clean. I highly recommend it.
My partner and I really enjoyed the tour, and it was a nice change of pace from the self-guided sightseeing we usually do. Our guide was Adrien, a historian who was very knowledgeable about the sights we visited. He was also very friendly and pitched information in an accessible way. The tour itself was well-organised and we visited a lot of places. We got free time to wander around every major stop, and while you could always spend more time, it was enough for a taste and didn't feel rushed. The accommodation was comfortable both nights and the food was generally good and generous. Fussy eaters may be frustrated by a fixed menu.
Excellent tour giving a good overview of the Loire Valley region. Our knowledgable guide, Florence, gave just enough information to keep the interest level right. Great places to visit and highly recommend this tour.
We had a great time. The Castle looked just like the pictures! Would have like a tiny bit more time in the village. Lunch was very good, but I don't like Salmon. Is it possible to request certain meals according to your allergies? This was never stated but if it is possible it would have been nice to know ahead of time.
The guide was great! She was funny and knowledgeable. Never caught her name, but really enjoyed the tour.
Well done! ....saw a lot in 3 days...knowledgeable and friendly guides who spoke good English..... hotels were clean with large rooms. Suggestions: include a winery stop.....don't spend so much time on lunch stops as it takes time from what we want to see...give us choices for food. For example my wife does not eat beef or pork
Just great, much enjoyed countryside, chateaux and commentary information.
The itinery was great and the balance between being guided and having free time was balanced however there was insuficent time to properly explore the chateaux (especialy the gardens) on the 2nd and 3rd days which were all very lovely. Mont St Michel was well worth a visit. I did not expect to be spending so much time in a coach. The Motel food on the first night was not good, otherwise the accomodation was fine.
This is a very well planned trip where participants see the maximum number of things in a short time. The guides were competant and well informed. Transportation comfortable as were the hotels. Meals all very good. One criticism was that the coach did not have a first aid kit on board when my husband fell and injured himself.
How many buses doeAs it take to do this tour ? At least 5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing places to see but absolutley woeful treatment by tour leaders and
Loved the places we visited, but would not book again. Over the 3 days we had 6 bus changes, once was a bus break down which was not your fault. Not a good holiday having to move cases and buses so many times. Would not recommend to others for the $ it cost, went on a Globus tour and it cost less per day withg no bus changes. However that being said the sights were magnificent.
Very pleasant and interesting tour. Well organized and scheduled. Knowledgeable guides. Boarding Rue Des Pyramides should be a little more "friendly".
My wife had a touch of the flu and we were unable to complete the tour. The guide and hotel staff were especially attentive and helpful. The climb to the top of St Michel can be very taxing for unfit persons-lots of steps.
