BEST TOUR EVER! Period. From beginning to end this tour was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect combination of adventure, cultural enrichment, and relaxation.
Kareem was our tour guide and he had great energy, knowledge, and humor from start to finish. I loved how communicative he was, messaging me before the tour about how to prepare and what time to be ready. Throughout the day you can tell he and the other staffers genuinely wanted everyone to have an amazing and memorable experience, and we did! We danced, we ate, we laughed, and we learned.
The embera people are amazing! You will love riding along the river to meet them and learn about their beautiful culture. Their hospitality was incredible and I loved spending the day with what felt like family and close friends.
This tour was truly the highlight of my time in Panama and I highly HIGHLY recommend it!

This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Panama! Our tour guide, Orlando, was absolutely amazing. He made sure everyone felt safe throughout the hike and waterfall experience while sharing interesting information along the way.
The Emberá villagers were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. It was such a privilege to learn about their culture and experience their warm hospitality.
Visiting a waterfall has always been a dream of mine, and this was my very first time. Standing beneath the falls and taking in the beauty of nature was an unforgettable experience that will stay in my heart forever.
A huge thank you to Orlando for making this day so special. If you're visiting Panama, I highly recommend this tour it's an experience you'll never forget!

It was an Amazing experience, the food was great, and everyone was so kind. Definitely bring water shoes with a good grip. I would definitely recommend! Clemence our guide went over the history and made us super comfortable.

Absolutely legitimate cultural experience! Orlando was an exceptional guide and made sure we had a great day from start to finish. Comico was incredibly talented - every time we turned around he was doing something amazing - he brought us up river safely on the canoe having to get out and drag us through low spots, guided us on the slippery, muddy path to the waterfall, played the flute, gave tattoos and even gave us a tour of his village. Overall, we had a really worthwhile experience and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a bit of adventure and a beautiful cultural event.

Akeem was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. This excursion was one to remember and I highly recommend it. One thing I will say is make sure you wear secure shoes, water shoes specifically. The trail is very muddy. My shoe broke and I had to do the hike barefoot which wasn’t fun, lol. Overall this was an amazing experience that I will do again when I visit Panama City

Let me start by saying, Clément was an absolute pleasure to have as a guide. Him and Jorge were amazing at navigating us through this day. We were celebrating my daughter's 20th birthday and the whole experience was top tier. I highly recommend both our guide Clément and driver Jorge. This was an unforgettable experience. My daughter cried so many happy tears today, this was truly memorable. From the knowledge of Panama and of the tribe, in multiple languages I might add, to Clément taking our photos at the waterfall so no one had to worry about their phones, to the wonderfully prepared meal spread and just the overall camaraderie amongst everyone involved in the day. I could just go on and on, it was truly that special. Must try!

Clement Did an Absolute Phenomenal Job with Jorge during this wonderful tour it was by far over the top one of the most memorable moments I will have in Panama next to seeing the Panama Canal ships traveling over seas from the pacific to The Atlantic and the whole process

Our visit to the Emberá community was excellent and truly unforgettable. The guides were wonderful—kind, knowledgeable, and very welcoming.
The ride in the traditional dugout canoe was beautiful, surrounded by the majesty of the landscape and nature. The lunch was excellent, and we really enjoyed learning about the Emberá culture, their traditions, and way of life.
Everyone was so friendly and warm. This was one of the best experiences of our trip to Panama. Highly recommended!

if it's dry season (May untill August) prepare to walk to the waterfall which is a separate different experience, but somewhat challenging for people with walking of climbing abilities. So choose wisely when to travel

They communicate very well. If you are English speaker, they speak great English and translate very well. This is a very professional tour. I recommend this to anybody looking to book the indigenous tour. They were very kind and patient and make sure everybody was accounted for and I don’t normally leave review so this is definitely a good tour.

It was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on Kareem was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun! He made sure we were taken care of and having fun the entire day. Highly recommend this tour. It was so interesting seeing how the Embera community live They were so friendly and inviting. And the waterfall was so much fun. And not to mention, we had the BEST and tastiest lunch at Embera made by the locals. Fantastic tour all around Well worth the time and money

A wonderful experience! We had the best guide (Roberto) that lead us on an amazing trip. He was beyond knowledgeable and had the best attitude! We enjoyed a hike into the waterfall and then an amazing adventure with the Embera tribe. I highly recommend this as a must do.

The trip was very interesting and educational but some things to bear in mind.
1. In addition to what you pay on viator you'll need to pay $35 to the empera village directly so bring cash.
2. There is a 15 minute hike to the waterfall that comes before the visit to village. It rained while we were there today so it was very muddy and slippery because the ground is clay.

OMG! This tour was so amazing. Clement and Javier were just the ray of sunshine we needed on this rainy day. They went above all expectations. Very knowledgeable and patient and helpful. They addressed all our questions. They had us all feel like family and kept us laughing and safe. The information regarding the indigenous tribe was well received. The food and presentation was top shelf. I would definitely recommend this tour to all.
