What are people saying about Panama City

Manolo Ruiz was an excellent guide he really knew his history and the animals backgrounds
You will be charged a hidden fee of 20 dollars to cross the Panama canal. I didn't like this because I pay with card I don't expect an extra fee. .it needs to be stated on your page. but the tour was great and Manolo is very good he brings the monkeys too you as best as he can and he lets you interact with them and feed them. How can we expect to tip when we are paying the 20 dollar crossing fee. I give the tour itself and guide 5 stars

Even the rain made it a great experience!
Totally GREAT! Hotel pick-up. Private Tour w/ your own guide. Pay just one time: no extra entry fees. Sightseeing tour and history lesson all in one neat package. Our guide, Ricardo, picked us up at the Hyatt on time and made the entire trip a pleasure. Got rained on a bit while watching monkeys but it only added to the experience. Riding in a boat alongside of a huge container ship on Lake Gaton blew our minds. Seeing the same container ship we saw on the lake actually going through the locks was amazing. This is a must do when in Panama. Thank you, Ricardo!

Dan was such a...
Dan was such a high-energy, informative guide from the moment he fetched us from our hotel to the moment he dropped us back off. We enjoyed the waterfall and our time learning about the Embera culture and way of life. Our group size of 7 adults was absolutely perfect and the day didn’t feel too long. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

Running My Fingers Thru Panamá's Locks
The tour was all I had hoped it would be! I remember reading about the Gaillard Cut (aka the Culebra Cut) back in elementary school. To cruise through this monument to human endurance and engineering ingenuity was a thrill. It was equally thrilling to enter the original hundred-year-old locks, sharing the chambers with a gigantic oil tanker as we descended in stages from Lake Gatun to the Pacific Ocean. The staff was friendly and the bus and boat were very comfortable. My only complaint is that the check-in process was hot and hectic. I got there quite early to myself time to find the check in spot (which turned out to be fairly easy. It's a small office-like kiosk outdoors, next to the big Panama letters.) But no one was there until 15 minutes before the check-in time and no check-ins were done until 5 minutes before the check-in time. In the meantime, travelers must wait in an area with little seating and less shade. However, once that was done, you can enter the air-conditioned bus. So, all was soon well.

The Panama Canal may be the most well-known attraction in Panama, but there are dozens of Panama City day trips that showcase more of the country’s culture, history, and natural landscape. The dreamy San Blas Islands, the dormant El Valle volcano, and the Chagres National Park take you deep into Panama’s lush landscape, while closer wildlife tours to Lake Gatun and San Lorenzo National Park get you within an arm’s reach of sloths and monkeys. Maximize your time by taking Panama City day trips that stay in the city, joining walking tours or pub crawls around historic Old Town Casco Viejo.
