Itinerary
Head to the marina in Panama City to board your catamaran bound for Taboga Island. This is one of the closest islands to Panama City so you won’t have to sit on a bus for hours to get there. Relax during the scenic cruise, then anchor at a secluded spot on the island.
At Taboga Island you’ll be free to swim, bathe in the sun or shade, or lounge on the nets with a drink. The catamaran has steps leading down to the water for easy access to the sea, or jump for extra excitement. This is an all-inclusive cruise so you can take advantage of the open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The crew will provide on-board entertainment while you sail to Taboga town, where you can disembark for a visit and a beach swim. Back on board, refuel with a tasty lunch before returning to the capital.

- Please take in consideration that weather prediction in Panama IS NOT ACCURATE. Since we have a tropical weather, we can only know if it will rain the day of the excursion.
- Dress code Policy: During the time clients are at the Marina, are required to wear a complete outfit. Is not allowed to wear only swimsuits or towels. Not complying with any of the above guidelines will automatically cancel any reservation and no refunds apply.
- We have a maximum of 10 travelers per group per day (With some exceptions)

What an amazing, fun experience! The staff were so nice and attentive! I loved the open bar, the drinks were really good, and the lunch after the island stop was good too. The staff had fun dance choreographies ready to hype up the crowd which I participated in every one! (The drinks had me tipsy so everything was extra fun) The stop to jump off the boat was so nice and the island stop was absolutely beautiful. I suggest bringing cash to tip the boat staff and to buy stuff on the island! Such a great experience all around, I highly recommend!

Great boat trip, highly recommend! The meetup point is at the Marina, a facility with a cafe/bathrooms, which is nice, since most boat tours I've done in the past involved standing outside on a sidewalk to line up. Everyone from the Red Cat crew was super friendly, helpful, and paid attention to safety guidelines and even taught people how to dance. We had 2 stops, one to swim off the shore/by the boat, and another stop at the dock to enjoy Taboga for 2 hours, before having lunch on the boat. There were families, bachelorette parties, couples, and other groups. The cool thing about Panama City is all the huge boats you pass by, as they are all waiting to cross the canal!
Highly recommend for all types of people!

10/10, no notes! Taboga is beautiful and extremely affordable. We were given so much time to explore the island. They played such a wide variety of music, and we met some amazing people. The staff were so friendly and fun, and the drinks were so good! I already want to go back!

Panama Sailing Tours offers a great day trip to Taboga Island!
My family and I wanted to do one last trip before leaving Panama City and this was perfect for that! The company takes care of food and drinks on board and getting to the island is relatively easy. I did not get sea-sick at all and the boat travels at relatively the same speed the entire time. I will say I would recommend eating breakfast beforehand as their selection for the snacks they had before lunch were not too plentiful. There are different shops and cafes where you get on for the boat at the dock so you are able to buy something beforehand there as well.
The island is quite hot in March so I would bring a fan, light clothing, and sunscreen as sometimes you may be seated outside if you decide to eat or drink at any of the restaurants once you arrive.
The staff onboard is very friendly and ensures everyone has a good time. They are very good about including all instructions in both Spanish and English.
One thing I will say is we were told to check in at 8 am but they did not want us lining up to the boat until around 8:50 am so I would be mindful of that.
Nonetheless, this is a great chill activity to add to your Panama itinerary and I would book again!

We enjoyed the boat trip to Tobogo Island on the Red Cat. It was a really great day.
We decided to eat lunch on the island instead of the free lunch, this was the best decision for us as I think the food and snacks can be upgraded. Otherwise we had a great time.

Flip flops are fine as you stay barefoot on the catamaran. Plenty of shade and table seating. Crew were very professional while helping us to celebrate. Best way to spend our last day in Panama!!

We had a fantastic time on the Catamaran. We felt welcomed from the beginning to the end. There was so much to do a the staff worked really hard to give us a phenomenal experience.
We had a wonderful time as a group of three. Myself and my two teenage boys. There was always something to do with them. They loved jumping off the Catamaran.

This was truly an amazing experience. You have to do it once at least, if not more. We saw dolphins, birds, and spent time on the beach of Taboga Island. If you are on the fence, just book it!

Everyone on the ship was extreme, friendly and helpful. The meal for lunch was very fresh. We had a barbecued chicken white rice with lentil peas, a green salad and bread. The drinks were also very delicious. I had the sunrise multiple times. Definitely would recommend this tour company. Tobago Island was really beautiful.
