Our day exploring Kyoto and Osaka with Hiroki

Hiroki is a Kyoto native who has a vast knowledge of Kyoto and Osaka. We spent a wonderful day with him exploring the best of Kyoto and seeing not only the major sites but also some lesser known places that are only known by locals. We totally enjoyed his knowledge of the area’s history and current events. If you want to spend a totally enjoyable day or more in Kyoto/Osaka then you should definitely consider doing it with Hiroki.

Kyoto/dotonobori tour from cruise ship

We had an exceptional day in Kyoto/dotonobori thanks to Hiroki our guide. He was very patient with my continual mind changes. Communication leading up to tour was excellent. He was knowledgeable and knew all the shortcuts and best spots for photos. Our cruise ship arrived late in afternoon and he still managed to take us to everything we wanted. Started at nishiki market then off to the pagoda and inari shrine. Walked the streets of Gion and saw a real geisha. Then he got us to dotonobori Thanks to Hiroki we had such a memorable day.
