This was an unforgettable experience. Practicing traditional samurai tatami cutting felt both powerful and deeply respectful of Japanese culture. The instructor was incredibly calm, patient, and genuinely kind. I highly recommend this experience.

I too hold this understanding, firmly engraved upon my heart. For a samurai, to speak is to stake one's very life. Only when granted permission by one's lord or superior—through words like "Raise your head" or "Do not be troubled"—is one permitted to speak. This is the way of etiquette, and the path to avoid shame. Truly, it is a weighty understanding. I gather you, too, hold this as a vital teaching when conveying it to foreign guests. Now then, let us together share the heart of Bushido.

The class was very nice, in very little time I learned a lot, including the use of the Katana and Bushido culture. It was awesome.

This refers to the language used mainly by the samurai class during the Warring States period. Samurai valued loyalty to their lord, discipline, and the spirit of bushido, and this spirit was reflected in their language.
Great experience. One on one with samarai trainer. Learned multiple moves. Used real sword to perform moves and slash material. Would do again!! They took great pictures.

Attended this experience with my son (22). We both had an amazing time learning about samurai history and how to preform katas with a katana. It was just a short walk from the Osaka Castle grounds.
