Begin your day trip with pickup from a select meeting point in Naples. Meet your driver and hop aboard your luxury coach.

Head first to the archaeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city that lay buried under volcanic ash for centuries following Mount Vesuvius’ eruption in AD 79. Enter the legendary archaeological site at your own expense, or with prebooked tickets if you chose the all-inclusive option, and explore with a guide or audio guide (depending on the group size).

Then, take a drive along the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Stop at a panoramic vista point overlooking the coast, and continue to the queen of Amalfi Coast towns, Amalfi.

We had a great time on our trip to Pompei and the Amalfi Coast. Alex was helpful and knowledgeable and organised the group well! Our guide in Pompeii, Salvatory, was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. It was a pleasure to meet him. A tourist trap for sure. Get your own guide!

Time and place to meet they give you should be questioned thoroougly. It was wrong every time I tried to confirm. Pompei was terrific. Amalfi ~ our driver Aldo did not stop talking from the moment we got in the car till we actually got to Amalfi. He insisted on taking us on a "scenic tour" and to one of his favorite restaurants inSorrento. VERY expensive and not that good. We FINALLY got to Amalfi around 4:30. Very late, very crowded and did not stop to take in the view. Plaza totally crowded and we were tired. Not a good experience. I wonder how much commission he got from that restaurant????

Great guides and a great group of people in our group. It was Pompeii so that was amazing to see. On the way to Amalfi, the van broke down but it didn’t diminish the tour at all. They did say they would drop us off in Positano on the way back to Naples, but then didn’t and we felt abandoned in Amalfi, but thankfully caught the last boat for only 7 Euro each at sunset. So it all worked out, but scary in a foreign country with taxis wanting to charge 200 Euro.

What an amazing day! We started with a group that all went on a guided tour to Pompeii and it was so much more incredible than we could have ever imagined! What we were expecting was small area of ruins and the casts of those who perished. This was so much more, and such an incredible time capsule of what this city once was with so much more preserved than what we thought there would be. It was truly a wonderful tour. Our guide was great, and she was able to give us a lot interesting details about certain rooms we were in, the ways of life of those who held different roles there, and how incredibly smart the people of Pompeii were. After the tour, our group separated into different tours, and ours continued down to the Amalfi coast. We had Aldo as our driver and guide and he pulled out all the stops for us. We had a great time driving along the coast, hearing his extra insights, pulling over for photos, taking our photos for us, stopping at a limoncello factory, and even made a suggestion for us to have a nice lunch. He was incredibly friendly and we really enjoyed our trip with him. When we were in Amalfi we had some free time to roam and check out the little shops and of course get some gelato. It was a brief visit to the coast, but a beautiful day by the coast and some incredible view points on your way there and back. Definitely a memorable experience!

Our Pompeii section of the tour was hosted by Francesca. She was very knowledgeable and showed us all the highlights of Pompeii within the 2 hours that we had. She knew the best spot to get a good view of Mt Vesuvio and the ruins. The tour was perfectly paced, we did not feel rushed. There was a big misunderstanding, the posting said there will be a 3-course lunch after viewing the coral factory which was not provided. Our second portion of the tour was hosted by Serena. She was very pleasant and educated in the history of Napoli and the coast. We wish we had more time to explore Amalfi, an hour and a half was not long enough. We would have liked if she provided suggestions of what to see. We were dropped off without knowing where the main street is and explored it a little later than we wanted. There was little time left to hit all the hot spots. Side note, if you get car sickness be aware the roads are very winding leading to the coast. You may have time to explore the public beach, so pack a towel and bathing suit if you want a quick dip. The bus / van was super comfortable, we highly recommend trying the lemon icee as well but be advised you can’t bring any food on the bus.

This tour was amazing! Josepi, our tour guide, was so nice & provided excellent facts and laughs throughout the day. Additionally, props to our driver, Rosario, for driving through the hustle and bustle of Naples & the curvy roads to the Amalfi Coast. Only complain of the whole day is I simply wish we had more time. Pompeii was huge & we only got 40 minutes to walk around in Amalfi. Overall, great day though & I highly recommend!

Pros- The guide for Pompeii was average and his voice did not carry through properly. It was also a dual language tour, I guess because of the low number of tourist in winter. The meal provided was 3 course , simple but filling. Cons- Not enough time at the Amalfi coast, after an hour and a bit of driving we were given only 45 mins at the Amalfi coast. Also the long part of the drive from Pompeii to Amalfi was done after a heavy lunch which had a few queasy stomachs in our group. Ideally this tour should have gone to Amalfi first and then for lunch to Pompeii and the walking tour after.

Suzi, our guide at Pompeii was as interesting as an old shoe. She couldn't have cared less about those of us on the tour and shared the bare minimum about the ruins we stopped to view. I found myself listening to other guides and peeking into buildings that she just walked by. She was on her phone alot and so disengaged from us it was very frustrating. I've done numerous tours and expected more. Fortunately, the young man who accompanied us on the bus and through Amalfi was terrific. Because the area is so lovely and interesting, I would recommend this tour. Just make sure you don't get the older lady named Suzi.

This was an amazing tour. The tour operator was easy to locate, directions were excellent. For the drive to Pompeii, the bus did not have AC so was quite hot and uncomfortable, but only an hour drive so was okay. The guide was excellent, well organized and knowledgeable, the tour was very long and very informative, cautioned wear comfortable shoes!! After the 2-3 tour we were treated to a lovely meal in a beautifully decorated hotel dining room, choice of fish, pasta or pizza with salad and ice cream. After lunch we joined a very nice air conditioned mini bus for our drive to Amalfi Coast which was breathtaking. We got time to stop for pictures and an hour to spend in the square to shop and visit the cathedral. The driver Mario was fun and the guide (can’t remember her name) was very good. We were transported back to the ship in plenty of time! Overall a great experience and highly recommended!

This experience is worth more than you pay for!! We had a wonderful time going through Pompeii on our tour. Our guide was very informative and showed us the best parts in the 2 hours we had there. We had a wonderful lunch afterwards, before heading to the Amalfi Coast. I wish we had a little bit more time in the city, but we had just enough to see all that we wanted and enjoy some lemon gelato. The guides were very friendly and accommodated for our boarding time our cruise ship to make sure we were back in time. Definitely a memorable experience!!

This trip is great for those who have limited time to explore both Naples and the neighboring attractions like Pompei and Amalfi. We enjoyed the tour in Pompei even though it was very crowded, the tour guides were fantastic and very accomodating. The lunch being included was really a great idea after a few hours of walking around the archeological site. The Amalfi trip was amazing too, I only wish that there was more time to explore the town. I also want to mention our driver Rosario and our tour guide Chris who are very knowledgable and had done such a great job in making this trip a great and memorable one for us.

We wanted an experience that would allow us to see Pompeii and the Amalfi coast without doing the driving ourselves. We fully enjoyed the experience. The tour of the Pompeii site was comprehensive and informative. Lunch was a surprise and delicious. The service was terrific. The cameo tour was great. And the visit to Almafi included photo opportunities and a brief stop to shop and relax. Totally worth the day and the cost.

Enjoyed the Pompeii tour, amazing guide and interesting history. Lunch was good as promised. Amalfi part of the tour is mainly driving with a few stops for pictures, winery, and then a chance to visit the shops and church in Amalfi. Very busy time of year in June so was crowded and traffic was crazy. I don't regret seeing Amalfi once as it is very beautiful, but I probably won't go back due to the crowds and traffic. Excellent and well run tour.

Tour of Pompeii was amazing. The local tour guide was amazing and make it come to life. Lunch at the grand Victoria hotel was nice. Salad and pizza/pasta/fish options and ice cream. Due to traffic/issue our driver was late. Which cut the afternoon time down. We stopped at limoncello factory which was quick but nice, then a photo spot in Postino. Beautiful views. Then independent time in Amalfi to explore. We only had 50 minutes which stinks, but if the driver wasn’t late we should have had more. Our amalfi tour guide was awesome as well. Overall nice tour.

Our tour group had lots of travelers from all over the world. The tour guide had to speak in 3 different languages to give us directions and explanations of various sightseeings. Although impressive, I found myself zoning out every time they would switch to another language and made the experience feel a lot longer. It would have been a much nicer experience if they would assign one tour guide who would speak the language of the a particular group instead of grouping everyone together. Felt chaotic at times, especially when it was really crowded at Pompeii Park. Our tour guide at Pompeii seemed like a very nice lady and knowledgable but due to her thick accent, it was quite difficult to understand her English. Especially when she would switch back and forth between three languages, I had no idea when she was speaking in English. Most of the tour was at Pompeii and then traveling via bus, which made the stop at Amalfi only about an hour or so, which was quite disappointing. Our guide was able to get a small group of us on a boat ride for 30 min at Amalfi coast for an additional 20 euros per person which was a great experience. However, it did cut into our time exploring the town. We were told to be back after exploring for 15 min or so but the driver did not show up on time and made us wait for an additional 20 min when it could've been used as exploring time.

We happened to do this tour during Italy’s liberation day so entrance to Pompeii was free yet crowded. However our Pompeii guide knew how to work the crowds and get us through with ease! I would definitely recommend Luigi as the Amalfi Coast tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Italy and shared tips on which restaurants were a must-see!

We booked a trip for 8 hrs to Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. The morning of departure we were told “due to weather “ we could only do 1 or reschedule. Unable to reschedule due to timing. The weather was 68 and sunny. We were told by the tour director that this happens when not enough people sign up. Very misleading and disappointing. Will not be using Victor again. Do not book with this company unless you would like to be scammed. Less than 24 hours before we were supposed to take this trip and therefore too late to cancel for a refund per Viator's policies, someone reached out and told us that there were supposedly strikes at Pompeii and we would have to switch trips and instead take a bus tour of *just* the Amalfi Coast. After checking with two other companies, and reading the news and checking online forums, no other source said there would be a strike at Pompeii. And in fact, there were indeed no strikes and we were able to see Pompeii on the day we intended to. When I responded to this company, saying that we would like to cancel our trip and receive a refund, since I was no longer receiving at least half of the service I was paying for (the trip to Pompeii), they told us that a refund would not be possible. After multiple messages back and forth, they would not actually confirm that we would be able to go on the trip to Pompeii but also would not give us a refund. We felt extremely uncomfortable getting on a bus for 8 hours with a company that was so untrustworthy and did not go. Viator was also extremely unhelpful in resolving this issue for us. If you are interested in seeing Pompeii, save your money and go to Pompeii yourself. It is a cheap, fast, and easy bus or train ride out there and you can find guides at the site or walk around by yourself.

Tour around Pompeii was amazing, the guides were helpful and friendly, however remember to bring cash otherwise you have to get in a long queue. Riccardo our driver to the Amalfi Coast was lovely! Really kind and helpful, 10/10 would recommend!
