Took the e bike tour around Naples and it was exhilarating. Traffic is a bit wild around Naples but Frederica and Luca were great guides. They took us to some amazing sites in Naples and local stops for a coffee, pastry and another stop to get a fresh juice. So glad we decided to take the tour.

This bike tour was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice and as we were travelling on a cruise ship we did not receive the cancellation notice until the morning of the tour. Very disappointed. Even more disappointing is the fact that we have not yet received the refund, after 10 days.

Tour route was good, however the biggest downfall for us was the audio guide approach. Our tour guide Frederica was lovely but only warmed up to chat to us almost at the end. At each stop we put in ear piece and listened to an audio recording of the area. This VERY quickly became impersonal and I would regard it as very poor value for money on that basis.
Frederica was lovely but we were really disappointed she showed little interest in further explaining or talking about the sites etc.
Naples is a busy city and she did her best to prompt us before specifically busy sections of the road.
Unfortunately we had no cash to tip her, maybe the owner might see it better to share some of the extortionate cost of the tour relative to what we got over 2.5 hours, with her instead.
We have done many many cycle tours all over Europe…. We would NOT recommend this one.

The e-bike tour was fantastic. We traveled with 3 older teenage boys and this was perfect for all of us. The bikes were in good working condition, the routes we traveled were safe even though a decent amount of road traffic, and the views were incredible.

This is not our first time doing bike tours in major cities but first time being disappointed.
Our guide was good (no problem with him specifically), but the experience itself was disappointing and totally NOT worth the cost. The route takes you along busy streets where you’re riding alongside cars and motorcycles—extremely unsafe, especially for children or anyone who isn’t a confident cyclist. Several times where I was sure I would get hit.
The roads are chaotic, and even though our tour was in the evening, we were told it would’ve been better in the morning because it’s “less busy.” But let’s be real—this is Naples, and the streets are always busy. They should have chosen different routes or at the very least made it explicitly clear what to expect.
The audio tour was just pre-recorded facts played by the guide at certain stops. We ended up asking if we can skip this because it was dull and added nothing to the experience. You basically just listen to an audio for 10 minutes at each stop. I can do that on my own for free…
It’s also not a group tour in the fun sense—it was just our small group of three, so it lacks the energy and fun of a larger group experience. Overall, the tour felt unstructured, unsafe, and definitely not worth the money.

we’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations. I must admit your review took us by surprise, especially given the consistently positive feedback our e-bike tours receive.
One might even suspect that the negative feedback was intended to justify a refund request — an interesting strategy for getting free tours. Unfortunately, that’s not how things work.
The audio guide system with pre-recorded tracks — similar to those used on sightseeing buses — is clearly mentioned in the tour description. It’s possible you didn’t read the details carefully before booking.
As for the traffic: honestly, what were you expecting from a bike tour in Naples — empty streets? Perhaps this experience simply wasn’t the right match for your preferences.

Since we were informed our original excursion to the thermal baths would push the time needed to return to the ship, we decided to be adventurous and do an e-bikes tour in Naples.
Our guide, Fede (nickname) and her co-worker, were very patient with us (mostly me) from changing the seat to adjusting the height properly and even waiting while I tried riding the e-bike for the first time.
Fede was very attentive and ensured we made it through traffic safely. She was also very friendly and answered all our questions. She even said my husband and I are now Italians since we made it up the hill for a great view.

Very exciting experience. Riding along aggressive Italian drivers was quite the experience but our guides took care of us do it was really interesting!! What a fun way to explore the city and got to see so much more than by foot. Excellent

I booked through Viator for the 4pm tour. I arrived early at the correct meeting point. The store was closed and the tour guide never showed up. They also never replied to multiple messages. I have submitted for a full tour refund.

Wow! We just had an incredible day touring with Monica ( who by the way, was so friendly, informative and very patient along with her fellow staff members Imma and Anna) Some helpful bullet points for those interested in this tour:
- definitely worth every penny
- we came off a cruise ship and it was an easy 10-15 minute walk from the port to the meeting point. Easy to find.
- the weather today was a perfect. 74F, but we still got warm riding with the supplied helmets. Wearing layers is a great idea. They supply you with a cold bottle of water and snack bar that sits in a pouch attached to the bike. Can put some items inside it if needed too. Dress accordingly, shorts and sneakers worked well to keep us cool and protect our feet.
-it took us a few minutes to get accustomed to E bike riding, but it’s a fun and fast way to tour around town. Monica helped us adjust the seats and showed us how to increase /decrease the power when needed.
- at each stop, you’ll wear the earpiece and listen to the historical facts of what’s in front of you. They are short sound bites with some good facts.
- the only part that was a little challenging for us was that a large portion of time is spent on busy bumpy cobblestone streets with buses, cars, and motorcycles as well as walking paths with many pedestrians everywhere. It was definitely daunting at times with busy roundabouts in high traffic areas without bike lanes. Use your bell and brakes and you’ll be fine… All part of the experience 👍🏽.
-Not to worry.… towards the end, there’s an incredible uninterrupted ride with a dedicated lane on smooth paved roads. You’ll absolutely enjoy this tour!

Our tour lead Stefano was excellent. Very patient, very personable and very careful. The bikes were in good working order and the pickup location was easy to find. One of our group could not ride due to safety reasons and it would have been nice if they offered a refund for that one rider.
Otherwise a great way to see and experience the city.

1st reservation cancelled due to the rain. 2nd reservation never took place as the company was closed despite my reservation was confirmed. The office hours are wrong everywhere. Not reliable.
Hope to be reimbursed for both reservations !

This went above my expectations. Riding down alleyways, visiting churches and monuments around town, riding along the beautiful sea front, and going around crazy roundabouts. So much fun and Monica our guide was calm and patient. Fantastic way to see Naples. Especially as it was so hot and was way more fun than walking!!!

Great experience. Bikes were great. Your guide was outstanding and engaged. It was uncomfortable having a family with young kids on the tour as we were riding in the streets with cars and other vehicles. With the hills the kids and parents disrupted the tour. Even with that, we had a great time. Views of Naples were spectacular.

The traffic was unsafe and we were not well guided through it. If you are not ok with having your kids inches from cars hitting them then do not do this tour. The tour guides were very nice but the traffic was so stressful it took away from the tour completely. The front guide did not assist correctly in getting us through turns. My husband many times had to stop traffic to make sure we all would go by safely. They need a better way of making sure someone did not stop because of a traffic situation. Instead of keeping together we felt like we were guiding ourselves through insane and very uncomfortable motorcycles that ride in the bike lane with you. This tour was the most unpleasant stressful bike tour I have ever been on.

Tour operator was very helpful in adding us to a group on short notice. Two guides accompanied our group, and both were pleasant and engaged with each of us. All staff were helpful with adjusting equipment and acquainting us with the bikes - all were new and in good condition. This is a worthwhile tour.

We had the most amazing day with Stefan and Vincenzo. The e-fat bike was worth the trip with my husband and 2 brother-in laws. We thought it was going to be a straight route but we mingled with traffic and some run-ins, flat tire, and was able to get some photos along the route. You have to expect multiple traffic on the roads and round abouts since it’s a touring country. Again, many thanks to our tour guides who did an excellent job in guiding us through our first experience with an electric bike!! I will be buying one soon!

Unfortunately this one fell short. The audio is recorded and our guide didn’t even show the group how to us the bikes. Then he lead us through a crowded path and someone fell. Our tour guy was a bit younger so you could tell he really didn’t care until one of us just asked him to bring us back. Then he realized he didn’t take care of his clients. I was disappointed that the safety of Group was not of importance. I’m sure this tour has been great for others but we just didn’t get the right person for our guild.

Vins and Gabri were great and we have the best tour of Napoli on a hot day in spots difficult to reach otherwise. Well thought!
The bikes are excellent and although you will climb 300m steep hills you won't feel it.
