This tour was so very special. I am a professional food writer and I had quite specific requirements and requests. My guide, Marina, is not only a massive foodie but also a historian on Italy - and a local to Napoli. She even accommodated my very particular questions about types of tomatoes through a visit to a tomato grower! I cannot stress enough how much value and enjoyment I got out of this day - Marina is excellent and her knowledge and passion for food really made this day very special. Highly recommended, especially if you're a foodie-foodie and looking for something a bit more in-depth and special.

Excellent tour and guide!

Anna was an excellent guide: both a history tour and culinary tour in in one - we visited traders and patisseries, bakers, butchers, buffalo mozzarella sellers and the old wall of Napoli and an original family pizzeria. Chiara , our food and wine tour guide, was amazing! She took us to all kinds of hidden gems and multi generational owned businesses for some of the best food we had in Italy. We enjoyed the day immensely. So worth it and so much, i mean so so much food! Ask for Chiara if you book it!

One of the best food tours I’ve ever been on!

Chiara led our group on an extremely fun tour of the city where we tried the most amazing food!! She has a good relationship with so many of the vendors around the city and the experience was not only delicious, but we felt completely welcomed by the vendors and we got to stop in to other landmarks around Naples that would take your breath away. I would 100% recommend this tour!!

Back streets - this is completely away from the usual tourist places

Six hours of walking, talking and eating. We drank great stuff and we ate great stuff. Sfogliatelle, cod, olives, buffala mozzarella, octopus broth and more. We toured the business and met the baker handed down from seven generations. We ate pizza and drank wine and walked all around a part of Naples that was just about devoid of tourists. It was awesome!

Hace un año tomamos un tour gastronómico con Viator en Roma-Trastevere que fue muy bueno, en buenos restaurantes, comedores privados r históricos atendidos propiamente y con alimentos muy buenos. Este tour de Nápoles costó el doble que el del Trastevere rimero te dan unos panes duros con verduras y pan napolitano acompañado de vino espumante, posteriormente un plato de mozzarela de búfalla con un poco de jamón y un vaso de agua, esta parada fue la mejor, posteriormente una frsulleria que es donde hacen el pan duro que es interesante pero te dan simplemente un pan mojado en agua con jitomates y un vaso de tinto, posteriormente un puesto de helado y al final una pizzería muy común. Ningún restaurante fue realmente ni fino ni exclusivo ni bueno . La guía amable y empática, pero el valor recibido definitivamente ínfimo a lo pagado. Si se hiciera el mismo recorrido sin guía no costaría mas de 25 dólares por persona
