The location was easy to find, the people were helpful, and the trip was fast. It was a good first day tour to see where we would like to go on our "easy" and "explore" days of the city. We took the train to Hauptbanhoff, and it was another 5 min walk to their location. You can also take the street cars, where everything stops at their Hauptbanhoff (or equivalent to NYC's Central Station), and take the short walk to where the big red buses are parked by the sidewalk. There are eating places right as we finished and got off at the starting point.

Easy process, and it's a great way to see the city in comfort. The audio portion was nice, but it wasn't every detailed.

Recommended for people who would like to tour around Munich without walking so much. However, exact location of the stops given will be good as i got myself lost while alighting at some random stop. Lucky managed to find a stop and back go the main station

We took the blue line to the English garden. The program said pick up is at 14:30. No bus ever came to get us. We had to walk 2 miles back to our hotel. This is unacceptable

the bus departs at 2:30 PM from the main station towards the English Garden. Therefore, it could not have been at the English Garden at 2:30 PM. The journey from the main station to the English Garden takes approximately 30 minutes.

The system works well. First stop is easy to find outside of the main hbf train station. Map could use more details such as having a few details about the key sightseeing areas around each bus stops.

Bought the 24 hour ticket for all three routes. No one told us the blue line wasn’t operating at full scale and was on a modified route. We walked to a pick up spot for the blue route and the bus never came- found out it was a modified route and there was no mention. Had to pay for an Uber to get us back. This was after we had gone to a red line pick up spot earlier in the morning and had to flag the bus down.

Having issue contacting the organizer . I called them and also texted them. No reply . I was not able to arrive in time yesterday and wanted to coordinate to today, having a 24 hours ticket . They never responded

There are three bus lines, red (every 20 minutes) purple ( 30 minutes) and blue ( 1 hr). What I observed was, most buses met their scheduled arrival times, some buses were like 5-8 minutes late. There's this one driver who drove recklessly. I forgot to record the plate number

We did the city tour and the purple tour
We enjoyed the sights
We did not get off too much however on the purple tour there was a concern when we tried to get back on that there was no room
Luckily got a seat would not have wanted to wait another hour

Plan ahead, lots of stops. Plan for a whole day, and take a lunch break. Bring water because they're is a lot of walking.

The hop on service is great way to get your bearings but Munich is a big city so it really didn’t help with my orientation. There were 3 routes so plenty to see.. again it’s a tour of a big city with statues, some buildings of interest.. We hopped off a couple of times.. not one of my fav Hop on locations.. not the tour operator’s fault. We did not have a problem with the sound system on English (turn it up if you can’t hear!) there is an occasional additional announcement, that we couldn’t hear but we didn’t care. We will always do a bus tour in a city a quick way to get an overview of your destination.

Three routes offered that do not follow the maps provided. This made planning a challenge to know where to “hop off” The audio was correct but papers were not. Could this have been fixed by a simple explanation when getting on the buses?
