The walk began with our guide, Jason who was very thorough in locating and identifying multiple birds and insects. The pace allowed excellent viewing but wasn’t boring. Upon completion of the guided walk we spent additional time exploring on our own- it was excellent

Monteverde Cloud Forest Guided tour.

The weather was nice and Roberto our tour guide educated us about the healing properties of some plants found in the cloud forest. We saw lots of miniature orchids that are only found in the cloud forest. We also saw a viper snake, a tarantula and lots of birds. The temperature of the cloud forest was very nice and refreshing. I would recommend a guided tour to learn about the forest.

It was a fascinating tour of the rainforest canopy. It was raining quite hard when we went on our tour so we didn't see much wildlife. The bridges are cool and give a very different perspective on the cloud forest.

Our guide was knowledgeable about plants and trees and the weather was great but there was no wildlife to be seen only saw one bird flying overhead. The tour only lasted about one hour.

A Great Experience

I was a bit nervous about this tour, but it was great. The bridges only occasionally sway a little. There are some slight uphills on the walk. Our guide, Alex, was very informative, pointing out various things as we walked. There are other things you can do at the park and there is a gift shop

Hummingbird and Butterfly heaven

The guide was excellent, very passionate and clear on his explanations. We went back into the park afterwards and saw hummingbirds and many different butterflies on one of the bridges. The guide had to,d us where to stop and look which was invaluable.

Fun and educational experience in the cloud forest.

Enjoyed our hike through the canopy. That perspective of the cloud forest was amazing. Our guide Danny was super knowledgeable and added value to our experience. He not only pointed out unique features, plants, and animals in the rain forest, he also took time to provide background and context that we really appreciated.

Preis Leistung stimmt leider gar nicht. Wir haben 75 Dollar für 1,5 Stunden Rundgang gezahlt. Wir haben kein Tier gesehen, aber die kleinste Orchidee der Welt. Würden wir nicht empfehlen.

Für 1,5 Std Tour viel zu teuer. Zusätzlich hatten wir auch Pech mit unserem Guide, der wenig erklärt hat. Das hat sich nicht gelohnt.

Empezamos tarde y mal

Nuestro guía no apareció, nos tuvieron 45 minutos esperando y nos asignaron otro guía que estuvo con nosotras 1 h y 15 minutos, enseñandonos solo 3 puentes. Mientras que nosotras habíamos contratado un tour con guía de 2,5 h. El recorrido eran 6 puentes, que hicimos por nuestra cuenta.
