Butterfly Conservatory Tours and Tickets

Tons of butterflies and frogs. Our guide was amazing. You can go at your own pace and go back through the exhibits if you’d like. It was a magical day and I would do it all over again.

A really enjoyable family experience at a good price with knowledgeable staff. I would really recommend taking the jungle river walk at the end of the butterfly tour as it’s so pretty.

The volunteer that took us through the butterfly and frog habitats was extremely informative. There's a short path and a long path around the rest of the place. We took the short path and unfortunately didn't see any other animals. But it was a great way to spend a few hours and get great pictures!

The conservatory was amazing. There was a volunteer that took us around and spoke about the various butterflies and frogs. We would have loved to spend more time there but worth spending two or three hours there easily.

This was a beautiful property. The staff were friendly and doing their best though it appears they were all recently arrived volunteers, so the depth of knowledge about the animals and Costa Rica were more limited than the professional tour guides we found at other experiences in the area. Still it was beautiful and the staff were pleasant and did appear to really enjoy the work. The back hike was nice and more natural than some others in area, and lower traffic.
