I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was so wonderful and I’m bummed that I can’t recall her name as she totally deserves a shoutout. She was an art historian and IMO, a walking encyclopedia on Leonardo. Fantastic energy and passion that kept the whole group engaged.

It sounds like her passion and expertise truly shone through. We’re so happy you enjoyed the tour and hope to welcome you back to Milan again soon. 😊

We had an amazing guide - Ema (sp?). She was incredibly knowledgeable, animated and proud of her history. We saw a unique side of the cathedral because she shared a few lovely favorite items that were personal finds. Overall a wonderful tour, and I would highly recommend this tour.

We hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience in the future!

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable especially in regards to The Last Supper. The group was a little larger than I would prefer and a suggestion should be made against taking “selfies” with the work as the background.

Our tour guide was brilliant and made the trip fun. Amazing to see the last supper and everything was so easily arranged and on time.

Nice history of Milan and timing of entry to Last Supper was good. Should have been notified in advance that you needed an id and that you could not have food or drink in your bag. Guide was knowledgeable and did a good job herding the large group. My major complaint is the size of the group was too large: 29 people.

The guide was very knowledgeable about the last supper and history of the renaissance walk we loved learning about the ancient city. Thanks

We had difficulty finding the guide at the start (as well as others). The directions stated to meet at the museum entrance where the flags are, unfortunately there was another group meeting there at the same time (people that purchased their Last Supper tickets directly from the museum website). We got mixed up with this group and told to exchange our vouchers first at the ticket office. The ticket office directed us to another group altogether. We finally met the right group (in front of the church entrance not the museum).
The guide, Valentina, was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Obviously the Last Supper was amazing, but after this we went to a church "Chiesa di San Maurizio", also nicknamed the Sistine Chapel of Milan and this church was so beautiful and interesting !. Very much recommended.

The tour was well organized. Our guide provided us with many fascinating facts about The Last Supper. Additionally she did a great job in telling us about the Sforza family’s influence on the cultural of Milan as we navigated to the church of St Mauricio and the Sforzesco .

Enjoyed the tour. Sylvia was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about The Last Supper and the convent and then the castle. Walking to each sight was easy and she gave tips on other good sights

The entire tour from start to the end was very interesting. Our tour guide was very funny and explained everything simple enough for everyone to understand.

Alessandro took us in to see The Last Supper and then on a walking tour taking in two other churches and the castle. Her in depth knowledge and both historical and comedic commentary made for an interesting, informative and fun afternoon.

I wasn't about to go halfway across the world to Milano and not see The Last Supper in person, so I booked this.
It was well worth the visit. Like everything else in Italy, it seems a little poorly organized when you first get there, with lots of people milling around the small piazza trying to figure out where they are supposed to be, but once you find the right guy, it works out fine.
The guide was fantastic; much better than most guided tours I have taken. She was very knowledgeable, and her English was very good, and easy to understand.
The painting is fantastic, and on the back wall there is another great work of art, as well.
Good thing I brought my passport with me, because it was required for entry. I'm not sure that was made clear.

Tour guide was excellent. Nice balance information/humor/friendliness. Just the right amount of time each stop.
Karen_S, May 2024
Excellent guide facilitated a wonderful way to understand the many Renaissance wonders of Milan. Really enjoyable afternoon.

The guide was very knowledgeable and brought our attention to so much we would have overlooked - The Vatican - absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤

Alessandra is an excellent guide. She was very informative about the Last Supper site; what to expect; how much time we had inside the refectory; then, on our Medieval walk, how to spot a church; peek into courtyard gardens, etc. She kept an eye on us, her oldest walkers, which was quite a job with Milan's narrow, crowded streets. We definitely recommend this tour.
Patricia_J, May 2024
Having a tour guide who knew the history was so helpful! An amazing experience! A must see in Milan…..even though it is only 25 minutes with the painting.

Use another tour operator. We called and emailed 23 hours before the tour because we were at the airport with delays. Our flight was going to be very late so we asked to be pushed to a later time. Unfortunately because I contacted them 23 hours instead of 24 hours they didn't even try to schedule us on another future tour knowing that we couldn't make it. There were tornados and it was impossible to get a flight to make it on the original day. There are hundreds of tour operators and many time slots. They could have easily changed it and with 23 hours notice (the second we found out) they definitely could have done something.
I will never use Viator again. For the rest of our 3 weeks in Italy we decided to use Get Your Guide instead. It is more legitimate and they have much better service.
Here was their response when I asked for a different tour:

Tour was informative but a good guidebook or online reading could have covered it.
Possible to skip line - crowd wasn’t bad

Great tour of Milan. Aside from the last supper, the "Sistine chapel" of milan and the huge castle not to be missed

Having see different versions of The Last Supper, it was indeed a humbling experience standing in front of the painting and see with my own eyes. The tour guide was absolutely fantastic, she was very thorough, detailed in explaining the painting, the history behind, the restoration efforts to bring the painting what we see today. We then walked the streets of Milan to visit church of San Maurizio. From there we walked to Sforzesco castle, it was beautiful, grand and walking the so called grand courtyard was absolutely stunning.
It took us little over 2 hours of walking so if you have kids just keep that in mind.
