Milan walking tour - poor guide experience

We have done a number of similar tours in other cities, so we have some fair comparisons. We do have several comments to make which we hope you will respond to and action. 1. Matteo was unprofessionally dressed, very scruffy, had no official badge/lanyard or other identification. 2. ⁠His English and speech was quite poor which made it difficult to follow his information/descriptions. 3. ⁠The tour did not follow the full described route and timings. E.g. we only saw the Castello Sforzesco from a distance briefly (as per other reviews). Description was 20 mins. 4. ⁠It was not appropriate that he took us into a supermarket to try and persuade us to buy beer. No one wanted nor asked for this. This was clearly self motivated. 5. ⁠The tour ended by the canals around 4.30pm and we were not guided back to the Duomo, the stated end point. 6. ⁠Latterly there were lots of restaurant and bar suggestions - these were not asked for or anticipated by any of the tour members. Our first negative impressions of Matteo were unfortunately borne out as the tour progressed. We do not feel he is a suitable tour guide for all the above reasons, and is not a good representative for your company. We await your response and hope these comments are helpful. Ian & Janet Dixon

Information given said 2 hour tour but it was 3 hours and 2 couples left early. Tour guide, Mateo very sweet but did NOT speak English well enough to be understood. So we went to many places but have no idea what significance or history it had.
