Fernando was a fantastic guide who taught me so much about the history of this incredible city but also so much of contemporary italy. Really worth taking the time to converse with this excellent guide and it will feel like hanging out with a friend who is excited to show you around his city

My daughter and I loved our tour with Fernando in Milan yesterday! Our similar careers in Technology/Software made for a very personal connection and the conversation benefitted from that. His knowledge of local Milanese history, culture, arts, architecture, fashion, politics and even the recent Olympics stood out from other guides we've taken over the years. We started at the Duomo, made our way through the Galleria, talked about Teatro alla Scala, wandered through the great Brera neighborhood, and ended at the Castello. At every corner he stopped to explain the significance of statues, churches, buildings, and everything else! We learned more about Milan in 3 hours than we could have doing it on our own in days. You will not regret booking this tour with Fernando.

We had Reza to ourselves on this walking tour and he was great. Gave us an insight on a lot of the historical buildings in Milan and was knowledgeable on the history of Milan, would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Daniella clearly loves her job as tour guide. Her English is excellent. She is friendly, and educated about history and art. She shared the right amount of information. She allowed us to direct her so as to show us the things we are interested in. Very good value for a private tour.
I wish Viatours would indicate the meeting point clearly in the opening of the

Having already toured the major sites such as the Duomo, I was looking for the 'hidden gems' as the tour title implies. Didn't get anything close to that experience. We essentially walked around various parts of the city but didn't learn anything. Like nothing at all... I could have gleaned more info by just googling things on my own. This honestly felt like a bit of a scam.

Our tour was canceled 30 minutes before it was supposed to start. The tour guide had a family emergency. There were no substitutes offered at the time, only an invitation to take the tour another day, which was impossible because we were leaving Milan later that day.

We a had a young personal guide from Egyptian decent, who had lived in Milan for the last three years. He was enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgable on the history of Milan and was intelligent. But he struggled with English and probably lacked experienced as a guide. The tour lasted a little over 3 hours with quite a bit of walking, largely on the flat. This tour tour may be more suited to people interested in the commercial and fashion than historic and cultural side of Milan, although some heritage elements were included.

While our guide presented as being “attentive”, we found him to be lacking of historical knowledge and superficial as it related to “hosting us. He rushed us around and was rude to many people we passed on the street or on public transport, cutting them off or pushing them aside as he took pictures of us (that we didn’t necessarily want but pressured us into taking them)

Do not take this tour or use this company. I have taken at least 20 similar tours in Europe and this is the only one that has been horrible. The tour guide had no training had not done many tours and had no plan or information. He did not tell us a single bit of information and had no plan or itinerary. He asked if we wanted to go shopping or have lunch or snacks or take breaks. We took the tour to learn some history. We learned nothing. It was as if he had never been to Milan. I asked for credit towards another tour and it was completely refused. Terrible customer service.
