Very good! can be also dangerous! We had a bad landing due to wind and hurt our knees! Luckily no more sincere injuries! Need to have some first aid and baskets not to be overcrowded as we hit to each other while landing!

Beautiful early morning views of the pyramids from the sky. Chilly at 5am, so layer up, because it gets warm by mid morning. Pickup at my hotel was easy and the ride from Polanco was about an hour to the "balloon-port". I was flying solo this trip, so it was just me and the driver in his sedan, and the driver spent the entire day "on call", shuttling me to the balloons, on to the restaurant, to the pyramid parking, and ultimately back to my hotel. He wasn't the guide - that was someone else that I met at the balloon-port who actually guided me through the experience, including the walking tour of the pyramids. Lovely balloon time - about 100 balloons in the air on a Saturday morning, so there was a lot going on, but it was really beautiful and you can't beat a sunrise view from the sky. Great overhead view of the historical site and surrounding land. Breakfast at a local place was simple and tasty (I love chilaquiles). Ended up hanging around waiting after my meal for nearly an hour as the guide for the walking tour was waiting for a few more people to come out from the city to meet up. (This waiting is why I only gave 4 stars). Guide handled tickets for the pyramid park, was knowledgeable, and had talking aids like maps and photographs. We spent a couple of hours walking the pyramids: make sure to wear comfortable shoes and expect a lot of walking on gravel and some steep stairs. I was expecting the end to end to be 5-6 hours, but it was tracking to 8+ hours, so I asked to cut my portion a little short to get back into town. (5a pickup, thought i'd be back by 11a, barely made it back by 1p)

We absolutely love this as it is the best way to sew the Pyramids without spening hours walking, especially for those with mobility challenges. We did learn that the transportation option is probably best as 3 Uber drivers canceled on us as fewer drivers were available that early in the morning. Excellent communication from the tour operators!

Great overall experience and ended up being just as advertised. Seeing the whole process of how the balloons are set up to fly and then deflated afterwards was very interesting. The views over the pyramids is truly something to be seen. I would give 5 stars (even 4.5), but I purchased the 5 AM excursion, but was told afterwards that there was no transport available and that I’d have to do the 6 AM. My intention was to be onsite for sunrise however luck was on my side and there was a lot of fog for the 5 AM and it burned off by the time my group went up! 😂 Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I got some wonderful photos.

A beautiful morning!!

Oh man what an experience. Our driver Roberto picked us up early in the morning and drove us to the sight. We met our guide Rueben, he briefed us about the balloon ride and gave us some info about the historical sight! We had coffee, and some pastry and got into our balloon shortly after that. The views were spectacular, truly unforgettable. When we landed our driver Roberto picked us up promptly and drove us into town for breakfast. The restaurant was very cute and the food was so good! We relaxed there and then Rueben showed up to take us around the pyramids! He is such a knowledgeable guide, with great English. He took us all over the sight for maybe, 3hrs! Afterwards we went back to the restaurant and had a beer with him and his wife who owns and cooks for the restaurant. It was so great hanging out with them. They live in that town and it was so wonderful to hear so much history from a person who has grown up right next to the historical sight!!! We loved everything about it. Highly recommend, ballon ride with breakfast and a guided tour!!!!

This was such a well organized tour to take. Our driver arrived to our hotel when expected and did a great job of getting us to Teotihuacan and the launch site. He escorted us through all the paperwork, which was very helpful, and showed us where to get some coffee and pastries prior to takeoff. The entire process from getting the balloons inflated, watching them takeoff, and getting us loaded in was seamless, smooth, and wonderful! The views from above Teotihuacan are AMAZING! This is definitely worth doing!

Absolutely perfect way to spend the morning. Our driver & we were both early to the pickup spot, the car was very comfy, I napped the whole 45 minutes! Check in was easy, coffee & tea provided while we watched the huge balloons get blown up - fascinating process. A few photos & we got helped into the baskets & took off. What a thrill! Our captain was the best & had a music Playlist compiled from suggestions of passengers on Spotify - a little Queen in the morning made us all smile! The views of the pyramids were exceptional. Floating beside them & above them gave us a unique perspective. We were prepared for the bumpy landing & watched the balloon deflate & go back in its bag. Amazing. Afterwards we went to a buffet breakfast with fresh omelets, lots of fruit, salads & sweets. Yummy. The drive back to CDMX took longer due to traffic but there was lots to see on the way. Ignacio was a great driver & guide. Thanks for a terrific experience. Highly recommend!

Although this wasn't our first option as it was $100 more expensive, we had a great time! Our driver came on time and met us at the pickup point. We were able to get some fruits and coffee upon arrival and waited until around 7 am for our turn to get into the hot air balloon. I wish we were able to get on earlier as we missed the sunrise but the view was still amazing!

Definitely recommend this experience and tour company. The process was smooth and the tour guide was very responsive and helpful with my questions before the event. Our driver Ignacio was very professional and made sure we were always in the right place once we were at the launching site. The balloon ride itself exceeded expectations. Some members of our group were a little nervous before, but during the ride they said how much they were enjoying it and how comfortable they felt.

We chose the transportation option, so we were picked up at 5am. The driver took us on a smooth ride to where we needed to be. We were given coffee and light snacks once we got there. There were photo opportunities that some took an advantage of. We got up in the air at the right time and had a great time in the balloon! We felt safe and warm from the heat from the flame. It was our first time on a hot air balloon and we enjoyed our time! Afterwards, we were driven to another place where we received our meal. Overall, we had a delightful experience, and everyone we encountered was extremely nice! Highly recommend this experience!

The balloon ride itself was incredible! What a gorgeous and peaceful way to get a birds eye view of Teotihuacan and understand how large it is. Our pilot Constantino was extremely competent, enthusiastic and reassuring. The driver was right on time to pick us up from our hotel in the morning, and the van was very comfortable. It was an amazing experience for the whole family. My main complaint about this experience is that it was not the most efficient use of our time. We waited approximately 20 minutes once we arrived at the site from which the balloon departed before we went to the balloon. Then we had to wait 30 minutes once we landed for the crew to load the balloon onto the truck and trailer to take us back to the original spot. Then we waited around again before going to breakfast at a restaurant, which took a while. So by the time we reached Teotihuacan for a tour of the pyramids, we were already past the time they advertised we would be back at our hotel. And we only had 45 minutes to tour the archeological site before we had to be back and check out of our hotel. But that was 2.5 hours later than the advertised return time. The other weird part of the experience was that the driver told us our package did not include a guide, and that was made clear on the reservation. But he then said his father could be our guide and would start explaining the ruins to us while we had breakfast. He then got into the van with us to go to the ruins without asking if we wanted to hire him. And he never stated a price. So while we probably would have hired him anyways, it was odd that we didn't really have a choice. My family speaks pretty good Spanish, but the plan for the morning was never really made clear to us. It would have been helpful if they had given us an overview of the morning, explained who everyone was and how much time we were going to spend at the various activities. While this part was frustrating, I have nothing but rave reviews for the balloon ride itself.

Don’t select the 6am option

Overall, it was an exciting day and we’re glad we spent Christmas Day on a hot air balloon ride and exploring the ruins. The issue was around the logistics - I could choose between a 5:30 and a 6am pickup time. I selected 6am, only to arrive at 7am to watch dozens of balloons take off, none of them for us. We waited for 2 hours for our balloon to fly, land and drive back before we could board. Only 2 other balloons took off around the same time, so we missed out on the opportunity to fly with dozens of other balloons in the air. The tour was billed for 3-5 hours, but we were gone for 8. We ate breakfast after the balloon ride at 11am and were starving (bring snacks). When I asked if there was a mistake about having to wait for 2 hours, I was told “ Many people have the idea that they immediately come to board the balloon, and this is not so. The same thing happens at an airport. You arrive even 1 or 2 hours earlier“. So that’s the level of service to expect on this tour. I wish I had selected the 5:30 pickup and had gone with the initial round of balloons, so I would strongly advise this company to simply get ride of the 6am pickup (or make it a 7:30am pickup so we could at least sleep in!)

With visit to the pyramids* Yes, we repeat this again: “Many people have the idea that they immediately come to board the balloon, and this is not so. The same thing happens at an airport. You arrive even 1 or 2 hours earlier“. You must be aware that December 25 is a day of high demand. If we woke you up earlier, it wasn't for fun. It was to be sure that we will arrive in Teotihuacan on time considering any type of unforeseen event. If you saw several balloons take off before yours, this is because we received reservations many months in advance. We do not want to say that your reservation has been less important than others, but we organize people in the balloons as we receive their reservations. If it makes sense to you, we received your reservation on December 22 And it is sad for us to read comments with a low score, due to the waiting time, on a day where obviously crowded places are expected and delays can happen. And without considering the real work of our staff. Anyway, we appreciate your comment and we are pleased that at least you enjoyed the flight, which is the main objective of this activity. Our best wishes to you!

I have been hot air ballooning twice before but never had an experience like this. Our bus picked us up on time at the pickup location at 5:30am. It was about a 40 minuet drive to the balloons. They supplied us coffee when we got there which was appreciate because of how early this was and because it was very cold (even with a sweater on). Their was fun music playing and tons of hot air balloons already taking off. Our balloon was already set up for us and we jumped in with probably 10 other guests and took off. The sunrise coming through the mountains and fog was breath taking. We went our the pyramids and local town. Our guide was so fun, he went out of his way to take amazing photos of us and crack some jokes. He even popped two bottle of champagne while on the balloon. Everyone on my social media were eating us the video of him popping the bottles. After the ride they took us to eat an authentic Mexican breakfast and teach us about the pyramids. Then brought us to another place to teach us about the agave plants and crystals and sliver that they make locally. There was a really cool store where we bought souvenirs and they took credit cards which was nice. We didnt get back to our drop off till 1 oclock so plan to be on this tour for most of your morning and afternoon. Other bit of advice is to dress really warm for the morning and bring something to change into for when it gets hot in the afternoon, as well as bring cash to tip our three different guides.

Memorable experience! Above and beyond service. My friend and I had a great time. Our driver Roberto was very friendly and it definitely made the adventure all the easier knowing that he would be the one to drive us to the different locations (balloons, breakfast, back home) and we didn't have to stress about missing a bus or finding an uber. The balloon ride itself was a once in a lifetime experience. Seeing Mexico from this angle was quite memorable. Highly recommend.

It was very convenient to be picked up from our hotel and dropped off. Our driver was on time and respectful. Upon arrival, we were offered coffee and bread while we waited for the balloon to be ready. The flight was amazing and very accommodating. We ended the flight with a glass of champagne. Not only was our plane delayed but my luggage with my passport was left behind at the airport I communicated with the host all the time and when I realized I had to go back to the airport the host refuse to reschedule my ballon ride and told me tough , this was an unprecedented event and he was very aware there was zero customer service DO NOT ISE THIS COMPANY

The hot air balloon ride was amazing! Beautiful scenery and such a great experience, definitely a highlight of the trip! Only part I was disappointed with was the breakfast that was included, the food was great but the service dragged. Had to ask multiple times for a coffee and waited almost an hour for food. We all arrived at once and I felt like they cooked one meal at a time. I was the last one to get my chilaquiles and had to eat quick because everyone had finished eating by then and we’re waiting in the van to head back to the city. The location of breakfast was in a residential area not in a restaurant. FYI this is not the one with breakfast with mariachi and tequila. Great experience but not worth $250 including transportation and breakfast. You can find a cheaper deal for sure!

This experience was nothing short of spectacular. It truly was the highlight of my trip. Everything from start to finish was seamless and well communicated. The pickup and dropoff was very easy. Michael was my driver and he is wonderful. Ruben greeted me with paperwork when I arrived and after coffee and a short wait, we were off to board our balloon. The balloon ride itself was smooth and everything that it promoted itself as. It was a clear day so the views were excellent with many different perspectives as we circled over and around the pyramids. I took tons of epic photos on my own, and the staff did as well for purchase afterwards. After we landed, we were offered a Champaign toast since it was New Years Day. Afterwards, we stopped for the included breakfast (delicious), followed by the return back to hotel. My recommendation, if you have the time- book this experience! It’s so worth it!!!
