Very well managed tour - Brenda gave just the right level of detail. Tour started with uphill climb to castle but at an easy pace. Fascinating 18th-20th century anecdotes and murals/furniture showing Mexico's socio-political journey. Half hour rest between the two and then across the road to the Anthropology museum to see various Mexican artifacts, many original pieces gathered from across the region. Def recommend. Enjoy!

I loved every moment of this experience all thanks to Ricardo!!!! His knowledge was extremely in depth and he never made us feel rushed. We were so tired from our flight which arrived that morning so he let us take our time. This tour was realy worth it and i now know so much about Chapultepec. The museum tour was great too. Really recommend both. Thank you Ricardo !!

Ricardo Moreno was a fantastic guide. Even though I was the only person who showed up for this particular tour, he did not cancel. Instead he gave me a private tour. He is very knowledgeable and was patient and answered all my many questions. I got a lot out of learning what so many things in the Antheopology museum actually mean. I would highly recommend this guide and this tour

    Great Tour

Great tour with lots of history. Our guide was very knowledgable. The castle is beautiful with great views of the city and museum is a must see.

So glad I did this tour!

This was a highlight of my Mexico City trip! Ricardo was a truly EXCELLENT guide-- friendly, patient, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and everything we saw in the museums. He was able to answer all the group's questions in detail! The Chapultepec Castle tour was great because we were able to experience it through the lens of Mexico's long and complex political history. The Anthropology Museum tour was also fantastic because (1) the English signage in the museum is very limited and (2) the collection is huge and could easily be overwhelming, so having a guided overview of its highlights was a great starting point. I chose to stay on in the museum after the tour ended to see more, but it was really great to have the context from the tour in mind. Highly recommend to all visitors and history enthusiasts!

Excellent Experience with a Great Guide

This was a great exploration of the park. Ariadna was a fantastic guide. She had such an enthusiastic attitude and positive energy that made the tour so enjoyable. It's obvious how much so loves the history and want to share. The whole experience was organized, thoughtful, and interesting. She answered every question and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Mexico City. All four of us loved it and raved about how much we liked her.

    Excellent Double site Tour

    Firoz_N, Mar 2026
Excellent guide - Ricardo who covered both the sites together in 1 tour to save us lots of time. Ricardo knew his info very well, and it shows well since he is a college graduate in history He did not rush us but asked us many times any more Question which gave us a chance to get more details if needed

    Castillo & Anthropologie Museum

    Valerie_H, Mar 2026
From visiting “The Castle” we learned so much about Mexican history. Specifically those who led the country over the years. Our guide really helped us understand this history. His explanation was excellent! The same at the Museum of Anthropology . There was lots of walking involved going from the Modern Art Museum (our meeting point) up a slight paved incline (driveway) to the castle, coming back down & over to the Museum of Anthropology. Once down at the bottom of the incline , we walked on a flat path to the Museum of Anthropology . We were given about a 30-40 minute break to get a bite to eat before our tour of the Anthropology Museum.

We did a combined tour of the Chapultepec Castle and Anthropology Museum. Our guide Brenda was amazing. Her knowledge and passion for her craft were so evident. It’s a lengthy tour with a break for a quick lunch in between venues. Absolutely wonderful.

    Good experience.

Great tour with Amanda. She is very knowledgeable about ancient Mexican history. We were late to the start of the tour because of traffic, and she was so helpful in making sure we were able to connect with the group. Such a pleasant person! Glad we took this tour with Amanda.

Our guide’s English was only so-so, and some information seemed contradictory / lost in translation. The sites we went to on the tour were great and definitely worth a visit. I would recommend baking in more time to see the Anthro museum since we barely scratched the surface

    Great tour and wonderful guide!

    Franklin_L, Jan 2026
This is a great way to tour the castle and the anthropological museum! There were only eight in the group along with Ricardo the guide. Ricardo was great! He dispensed so much information, but not in an overwhelming way, but in a way that was totally interesting and that probably was because of his knowledge and his passion for it! The information that he gave as a backdrop to all that we saw in the castle was wonderful and made it come alive. In the museum, the exhibits that he took us to again were so much more interesting as he filled in so much of the gaps in knowledge that I had even though I was a history major!

This was an excellent tour through Chapultepec park, Caslte, and the anthropology museum. Our tour guide Ricardo was exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to highlight the most important things for us to see, which is quite the undertaking in such a massive Castle and museum! I would have missed so much if it weren’t for him!

Disappointing, might be better with a different guide

    Acacia_H, Jan 2026
The tour was ok, but the guide was stoic/not very approachable/not engaging. There was a 30 min break in the middle that we weren't expecting. It was very slow paced. The castle was nice and the anthropology museum is amazing, but the guide didn't add much to our visits.

All included, good pacing, knowledgeable guide

    Citlali_A, Jan 2026
Great guide and very well paced experience. We got to see the castle, walk a bit of the park, eat, and then head into the anthro museum. The tour included all tickets in the cost of the tour. I do wish we'd had a bit more time in the museum with the guide to teach us more, and less time at Chapultepec. Please note, the guide has your tickets, so once you enter the anthro museum you cannot go in and out (but there is food, etc inside).
