Really good tour. The tour guide knew everything about the Castello and Museum. Accurate historical information. Recommended!

Rick provided a great amount of detail about each site we visited, made sure we had enough time to explore, and answered all of our questions patiently. He is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have experienced so far, and he is also genuinely kind and thoughtful, always taking care of people in the small details. I would strongly recommend touring with him.
A helpful note for anyone booking on a Sunday: the Anthropology Museum offers free public admission on Sundays, so the lineup can be extremely long. We waited under the sun for quite a while before entering. Rick did everything he could to make the wait easier. He suggested that we stay in the shade while he held our place in line under the sun, which was incredibly considerate. There was also some entertainment nearby, so the wait was not too dull.
That said, if you have flexibility, I would recommend avoiding Sundays because of the crowds and long lines. The tour itself, and Rick as a guide, were absolutely excellent!

Brenda, the guide was very knowledgeable and explained history and background. She solicited questions from the group to be sure we understood her presentation.

We had a fantastic experience on the 5-hour tour of Chapultepec Castle and the Anthropology Museum. Our guide, Ricardo, made the castle portion especially engaging—we learned so much about the paintings and historical artifacts that we never would have appreciated on our own.
Ricardo was also very thoughtful about the pace of the tour, incorporating regular breaks to keep the walking manageable and enjoyable. At the Anthropology Museum, he did an excellent job highlighting the most important and fascinating exhibits, which helped us get a deeper understanding without feeling overwhelmed.
A great bonus is that you’re welcome to stay at the museum after the tour ends if you’d like to explore further at your own pace. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a meaningful and well-guided introduction to these incredible sites!

Ricardo was an excellent guide. He explained the castle and museum in a very interesting way. The museum is huge, so I liked that he pointed out the most important parts of each exhibit without overwhelming the group with too much information. Especially small unique items that I never would have noticed on my own.
He offered breaks and bathroom visits multiple times throughout the tour. And we had time after the tour to explore the museum further. Wear comfortable shoes, it’s a long day. But highly recommended.

Ricardo (Rick) was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable, fun, and answered many questions. With there being so much to cover, we were running behind but he went over the original end time, with everyone’a agreement, to cover the rest of the tour content.
The tour itself was incredible - the sights, the education, the stories and history, all so incredible. My friend and I would have surely missed a ton of it without the tour guide.
Best way to spend a birthday in Mexico.

Excellent overview of major events in Mexican history through the lens of the Chapultepec castle and the enormous, amazing museum of Anthropology . The latter museum is far too large to see unjust one tour, but this one goes over the major pieces and events from the pre-Aztec and Aztec times. You then can stay as long as you want to view the rest of the museum,

I highly recommend this tour! It’s a great way to seeChapultepec Castle, Park, and the anthropology museum and learn about Mexico’s history.

Very knowledgeable guide. Learnt about or Mexican history and culture. Can’t wait to recommend to friends & families.
Nehha_D, Apr 2026
Beautiful (both the castle and the walk there) with the guide giving us lots of good background information. The walk from the castle to the museum was great since we passed lots of stalls in the park and we stopped for a quick coffee.
The museum is stunning and the information provided was comprehensive.
This tour was a great way to see both sites and get a lot of background information.

Ricardo did an awesome job, very informative and detailed. He really knows his Mexican history. This tour is at a slower place.

Ricardo Moreno was a fantastic guide. Even though I was the only person who showed up for this particular tour, he did not cancel. Instead he gave me a private tour. He is very knowledgeable and was patient and answered all my many questions. I got a lot out of learning what so many things in the Antheopology museum actually mean. I would highly recommend this guide and this tour

Great tour with lots of history. Our guide was very knowledgable. The castle is beautiful with great views of the city and museum is a must see.

This was a highlight of my Mexico City trip! Ricardo was a truly EXCELLENT guide-- friendly, patient, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and everything we saw in the museums. He was able to answer all the group's questions in detail! The Chapultepec Castle tour was great because we were able to experience it through the lens of Mexico's long and complex political history. The Anthropology Museum tour was also fantastic because (1) the English signage in the museum is very limited and (2) the collection is huge and could easily be overwhelming, so having a guided overview of its highlights was a great starting point. I chose to stay on in the museum after the tour ended to see more, but it was really great to have the context from the tour in mind. Highly recommend to all visitors and history enthusiasts!

This is a great tour of the Chapultepec Castle followed by a quick lunch at the Porrúa bookstore among the trees and a comprehensive visit to the Museum of the Anthropology. Ricardo was very informative, knowledgeable, and friendly.

This was a great exploration of the park. Ariadna was a fantastic guide. She had such an enthusiastic attitude and positive energy that made the tour so enjoyable. It's obvious how much so loves the history and want to share. The whole experience was organized, thoughtful, and interesting. She answered every question and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Mexico City. All four of us loved it and raved about how much we liked her.
Firoz_N, Mar 2026
Excellent guide - Ricardo who covered both the sites together in 1 tour to save us lots of time.
Ricardo knew his info very well, and it shows well since he is a college graduate in history
He did not rush us but asked us many times any more Question which gave us a chance to get more details if needed

From visiting “The Castle” we learned so much about Mexican history. Specifically those who led the country over the years. Our guide really helped us understand this history. His explanation was excellent! The same at the Museum of Anthropology . There was lots of walking involved going from the Modern Art Museum (our meeting point) up a slight paved incline (driveway) to the castle, coming back down & over to the Museum of Anthropology. Once down at the bottom of the incline , we walked on a flat path to the Museum of Anthropology . We were given about a 30-40 minute break to get a bite to eat before our tour of the Anthropology Museum.

We did a combined tour of the Chapultepec Castle and Anthropology Museum. Our guide Brenda was amazing. Her knowledge and passion for her craft were so evident. It’s a lengthy tour with a break for a quick lunch in between venues. Absolutely wonderful.
Laura_Y, Feb 2026
Our guide tour Ricardo was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great tour with Amanda. She is very knowledgeable about ancient Mexican history. We were late to the start of the tour because of traffic, and she was so helpful in making sure we were able to connect with the group. Such a pleasant person! Glad we took this tour with Amanda.
