Start with morning pickup at your hotel in Mexico City (or make your way to a centrally-located meeting point), then begin the 53-mile (86-km) trip to Cuernavaca, the capital of Morelos state. Upon arrival in the city—often called the “city of the eternal spring” for its mild climate—tour the most important landmarks of Cuernavaca’s colonial era.
Visit one of the oldest cathedrals on the continent, see the beautifully-preserved gothic mudejar architecture of the Palace of Cortes, and take in some of the city’s elegant streets and mansions.
The next stop is the Sierra Madre town of Taxco, where the mountains offer a dramatic backdrop for colonial churches and classic, whitewashed homes. You’ll visit the Baroque Santa Prisca Cathedral, and stroll cobblestone streets to silver workshops—Taxco silver is exceptionally pure, and this is the perfect place to pick up up unique silver souvenirs and gifts. Pause for a buffet lunch of stews, salads, pasta, and fresh desserts, then begin the return trip to Mexico City, where this tour concludes.

Way too much time spent in the silver boutiques. One rather than two would have been great. Our guide compounded two jobs, being the driver and the guide and in two languages.. She is a Super driver 5 Stars for sure!

Both cities feature visits to jewelry stores with a wide selection of silver items. Explanations were provided about the differences in the quality of silver. Both cities feature their Catholic churches and their unique art and design. The colonial architecture of the buildings of Taxco's city centre and it's white wash is rather stunning. Our guide, Eduardo, was informative, jovial and has a great sense of humour, which I truly appreciate.

Tour guides were great. Transportation was nice and clean. They were prompt to pick us us. The stop at Cuernavaca was one hour and it’s only for one block but it is pretty. The second stop at Taxco was too short considering there is more to see. Recommendation is to skip the jewelry store on the way to Taxco, shorten the visit/talking points at the church and the other jewelry store. Only had free time to eat and go into one store. I understand the tour company or guides can make money with stops at certain stores but I’d rather pay extra to skip those places. Overall I would recommend this tour company.

It was listed as 9 hour tour but it actually took more than 11 hours. They spent too much time in Taxco that was not needed. The trip to Cuernavaca was not that great either. Only the church was covered not the Maxmilian summer house.

We were a little worried at the beginning of this tour as it started about a half an hour late and very little information was given to us when we got picked up. However, once we got to Cuernavaca everything was explained and we really enjoyed seeing what Cuernavaca had to offer - we will definitely go back and spend more time there. What really made this trip exceptional was Taxco - once we finally arrived in the town we knew the whole trip was worth it. Taxco is simply amazing to see and walk around in - we'll worth seeing - we will be coming back to spend more time there. We did arrive home quite late due to an accident on the freeway which caused a two hour delay getting home the driver made an extra stop for us because it was taking so long to get home. I would definitely recommend this trip.

We made a brief stop in Cuernavaca and the tour guide did not provide a lot of history information about the church. I did the same tour (with a different company) about nine years ago and the guide was very knowledgeable. I feel the tour company should extend the visit to Cuernavaca. The visit to the silver store was a bit long.
The worst part was when the guide insisted we go into another store in Taxco after the church visit. I feel the guide wants us to buy more in order to get a cut.
I felt disappointed because it was my husband’s first visit and he was not impressed.

Mexitours, again....This time the tour guide was good but not great. Lunch was a buffet and it was not ok. Cuernavaca is a nice place and Taxco, known for the silver, was ok. I know this tour companies has to send tourists to the COOP's but sometimes they are too pushy.

Julieta our guide was very knowledgeable about history of the areas we drove through. There were only two of us English speakers and she was careful to translate her comments for us personally. The scenery we saw was spectacular and Taxco itself was absolutely beautiful. I plan to return.

Esteban (The guide) and Antonio (the driver) gave us an excellent Service. Esteban was very detailed in telling the story of the trip and other cities since we started the tour. The problem is that the trip is very long because you lose a lot of time at the stop of Cuernavaca and the silverware of Taxco (prior to arrival in the village). That stop forces eating in one place with no other options. We leave at 9am and after the Cuernavaca and lunch stops we arrive at the taxco center at 4pm. The guide dropped us off at taxco until 7pm, and we set off at night for CDMX (which I understand is reckless). In Taxco stores close between 6-6:30pm so we waited there for 30-45mins. I urge you to have better control of the schedule. Although we left very punctual, we arrived at CDM at 10:30pm

Son unos estafadores en viator, hicimos 2 excursiones y cancelamos una y nos la cobraron igual, más de 260 dólares y reconocen que no la cobraron, el resumen dice VIATOR, Máster no me deja desconocer la compra pero ellos no me solucionan nada.

Le comento que en nuestros tours en compartido, recogemos a los pasajeros de sus hoteles y en ocasiones sufrimos un poco de atraso por diferentes circunstancias (tráfico, esperar a algunos pasajeros unos minutos etc, etc), pero siempre manteniendo el compromiso de salir sin retrasos a los tours.
Referente al almuerzo en nuestros tours en compartido se les lleva a un restaurante como sugerencia para tomar sus alimentos, en donde tienen toda la libertar de decidir que servicios adquirir, ya sea el menú a la carta, menú buffet, o ir a algún otro restaurante de su agrado, nosotros solo sugerimos el restaurante en donde sabemos que el servicio es bueno y la calidad de los alimentos es excelente.

Al inicio los tiempos un poco largos en la recogida. Es entendible por la situación actual de manifestaciones en la ciudad. En Cuernavaca fue corto el tiempo, pero se pudo observar parte de la arquitectura. Taxco es un lugar mágico y maravilloso. La estancia en el taller de orfebrería fue una experiencia enriquecedora. La charla referente al proceso de extracción de la plata, el cóctel de bienvenida y la degustación sin límite de mezcal y tequila motivaban mucho mas la compra de sus productos 🤣. El almuerzo fue delicioso y resalta la gastronomía mexicana.
Llegar al centro de Taxco y recorrer sus calles fue realmente placentero. Y el acompañamiento de nuestro guía y conductor fue muy grato. Bastante amables y muy divertidos.
