Itinerary

Select a morning or afternoon pickup from your accommodations in Medellin, traveling by private vehicle to the Botero Plaza to start your excursion.

Check out the 23 distinctive sculptures created by Fernando Botero, one of Colombia’s most famous artists in his eponymous plaza. Then proceed on a walking tour of Medellin’s historic city center. You’ll visit churches that date to the 17th century, tour several elegant plazas, and get a sense for the city’s architecture.

Leave the city center and climb aboard Medellin’s Metrocable car to enjoy a scenic high-altitude view of the urban grid laid out below. When you get off your cable car ride, proceed to the “Comuna 13” area, where you’ll have the chance to admire the numerous street art murals and ride on the neighborhood’s famous outdoor escalators. At the end of your excursion you’ll be dropped off back at your Medellin hotel.
