This is a must do tour. A do not miss experience! Guatape, the rock, the village and the surrounding area are beautiful. We also had a really nice horseback ride around the rock! Our guide, Joshua is a great guy, informative, smiling, friendly, smart, sharp and responsive to all our needs.

Joshua was a great tour guide! He took us to the alpaca farm and then drove us to the rock. Views were incredible. Then he took us to guatape and gave us a great tour of the town! We also did a boat and jet ski tour and he was very helpful in coordinating that. He was such a nice tour guide!! Everyone should do a tour with Joshua when in Medelllin!

I had the honor to have Camilo as tourist guide he was expetional in every aspect. If you have the chance to pick a guide he is for sure top notch! This tour is expetional and if by any means you would like to do an extra activity just ask the guide and they will help you to do it.

Unremarkable Tour guide and tour operator/company

This experience was amazing, and the tour operator was incredibly accommodating and adaptable to my travel desires. One or two days before the tour commenced, I was asked if I would like to book any additional tours. I said I would love to do Communa 13 if I had the time. The tour operator then gave me the option for a reasonable fee to add in Communa 13 to my day. The tour guide Joshua, there was not a question that he could not answer. We first started at the monolith the giant rock you climb. The guide stood in line and got me the ticket to go up. I ascend the stairs alone got to personally take in the views alone. When I finished I went back to the car and we drove around the area and into a UNESCO heritage site then to a delicious restaurant that had llamas, goats, and other animals walking around a very unique experience. Then we headed into Medellin no traffic on the way back and toured Communa 13 and got to learn of the history there. The experience from the guide from the operator is top notch is commendable. I cannot see any reason to use another service. If one service has something this one doesn't advertise if you would reach out, I am sure they would be more than happy to work something in. Words cannot state how phenomenal the tour was.

Camilo was great. He communicated with me a month before the trip letting me know he would be our guide. Guatape was exactly what we expected, a nice hike with great views. Camilo then took us to the replica and on the boat ride. His English is great. I highly recommend the tour and ask for him. Excellent tour, excellent guide Camilo. If you want to see Guatape, this is a wonderful, relaxing way to do it - skip battling the crowds! Comfortable transportation, leisurely paced; absolutely everything included - no worries, no hassle. Lunch was fabulous (although very crowded). The boat cruise is basically a party boat; if you like loud music, congestion, and inadequate seating, this is your spot. It is the only part of the day I could have done without. Camilo had no problem when we asked to rearrange the order of the activities (we chose to go to the "Rock" first - glad we did it earlier in the morning). Pickup at our hotel was smooth and on-time. Camilo's English is excellent and we enjoyed our interesting conversation with him.

The operator for this tour, Camilo was and has been very helpful during our entire trip to Medellin. For this trip, Silvio, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He was very engaging and funny. Unfortunately, I came down with a bad case of food poisoning from something I ate before the trip started. Halfway through the trip I became very ill and Silvio was very accommodating. He stopped every time I needed a break. I would definitely use this tour company again and I hope to see Silvio on our next trip to Medellin.

This was one of my best days in Medellin. Camilo is an excellent host. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, fun, and extremely helpful. As a female solo traveler, he made my day absolutely spectacular. After picking me up he took me to breakfast on this beautiful farm. Then we went on a boat ride up the peninsula, that was a lot of fun. After the boat ride we went to Guatape where I climbed to the top for a spatular view of the city. Lastly we went to the city of Guatape which was absolutely beautiful, there we had an authentic Colombian lunch. I HIGHLY Recommend taking this tour with Camilo, it will give you an unexpected wonderful experience in Medellin.
