We had such a great time! The experience as a whole was incredibly educational and so fun! Renee our driver was super friendly and Samuel our tour guide was super interactive with the group. The lunch we were given was delicious and so was the coffee! The horses were really tame too! Overall I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Medellin!

Great day trip from Medellin to visit the charming colorful town of Guatape and climbing La Piedra. There were bus loads of tourists but we are so glad we did a private tour. Our guide Sergio Buitrago was amazing! Very professional and so knowledgeable about the history of Colombia and Medellin and Guatape and connecting to other countries. He kept the long drive very interesting by sharing his knowledge with us. The best guide we have ever had!! Breakfast and lunch were included with the tour and both were very good. Afternoon boat ride after lunch was relaxing. Overall, a great day and 5 stars to our guide Sergio Buitrago!!

I had a fantastic time on this tour. Julie was a really good host, very informative and easy going, and the people on the trip were also really friendly. I came solo and left having made some friends. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get out of Medellin, and discover a pueblo where you learn about the culture of life outside of the big city and the history of how Guatapé came to be.

Well organized half day day activity while in Medellin. Would go in wet or dry weather. The team met us at a convenient location in El Poblado, took us in clean/safe vehicles to a welcoming family near the trail head, afforded reasonably priced water boots (recommended), and made frequent informative stops on the trail to explain flora and fauna! We enjoyed the 30 minutes at the falls with a short swim. It was cold, but worth it!! Right amount of snacks (fruit, tea, coffee) to keep us going. I forgot to time the hike, but estimate 1.5 hours of walking. For anyone with questions of difficulty, I would not recommend an unfit person, young children under 7, dogs, or anyone with joint issues. There are numerous creek crossings, slippery and unstable rocks, and some mud. The crew was very focused on safety (prickly things, fauna related to poison ivy issues, fallen trees, and ability of all guests to keep up.) I am a “nature nut” and would have enjoyed a few more opportunities to stand quietly! Recommend renting the boots, being well hydrated, take pics, wear clothes to get in the pool area by falls, and consider bug spray (OMG… 4 days later and the itching from many small bites has finally subsided!!) Bring some COP for homemade ice cream!!

This coffee tour was an amazing experience just outside Medellín. The farm is beautiful, and Juan Carlos explained not only the coffee-making process but also shared insights about the city and culture. I really enjoyed the demonstrations, the farm and processing tour, and the delicious snack of banana with cheese and guava jam. The owner’s family was so welcoming and made the whole visit feel personal and relaxed. A perfect mix of learning, scenery, and hospitality — highly recommend!

Climbing the famous Guatapé Rock was unforgettable—challenging but incredibly rewarding. Every step tested my endurance, but the breathtaking views at the top made it all worth it. Having Mario along made the experience even better—his humor, energy, and encouragement kept the climb fun and uplifting. We also enjoyed delicious food tastings along the way, which added a flavorful twist to the adventure. An absolute must for anyone seeking a mix of challenge, culture, and stunning scenery.

At first, I was nervous, but once I arrived, the team made me feel so much better. They were joking around and making me laugh, which really helped ease my nerves. As they got me ready and set up all the equipment, they continued to check on me — even in the sky! Despite the language barrier, they were kind, thoughtful, and reassuring the entire time. Aside from the initial nerves, the experience was absolutely amazing. One I’ll never forget!

A great morning spent going around the sites of Medellin City Centre. We had a small group and were led by JJ, who made the trip interesting and informative for us. He looked after us and navigated us through busy traffic and pedestrian areas. Would definitely recommend as a great way to initially gain orientation and insight in to Medellin.
