This was my first time doing a hot air balloon and it was AMAZING! I never realized how much goes into getting the balloon up then down. The Berber breakfast was amazing as well! Highly suggest to anyone! We had to wake up 4am but it was worth every second!

An expensive treat but an absolute must-do if visiting Marrakesh. Be prepared for an early start that soon pays off with breathtaking views followed by breakfast. A well run excursion.

I tried for many weeks to contact the provider to confirm pick-up but to no avail. On the booking there were 2 pick up time options. I chose 7am. The morning of the trip we got a telephone call at 5.25am to say they were picking us up! Shocking communication and for that reason I would never use this company again! The actual balloon ride was amazing. No hanging about and straight on with it. Breakfast could have been better.

The flight was fantastic and would recommend for the moment you go above the clouds. However, it is worth noting you will not be in the same balloon as the other in your pickup vehicle so some people have more time for breakfast after. Our balloon landed far away and after we were driven back, we had to quickly grab food as everyone else was already back in the car waiting to go home. We also specifically booked this trip instead of others as it stated a flight certificate would be received with names written in Arabic. We got certificates with our English names. Still was a good experience for the cost.

We had arranged pick up for 6am but then had instructions that it would be 5.30am instead. However, we did not get picked up until 6.15am after chasing them a couple of times and eventually being called to advise the transport was waiting outside the hotel as security would not let them in - not true as we were past security outside the hotel! No apology for being nearly an hour late. This meant that we missed the coffee before the flight and the balloons being inflated and were lead straight from the minibus to our balloon. Not a very good start to the experience! The flight itself was amazing and the pilot and all the ground crew were really organised and we felt safe throughout. The breakfast after was plentiful and journey back comfortable. Would recommend the experience, just a shame about the delayed pick up and communication issues at the start.

Had a wonderful experience! Everything was organised very well, punctual and professional. Breakfast was freshly made and provided a lot of variety. Highly recommended. Price was very competitive as well as loads of similar packages were way more expensive.

A truly magical experience!
A well organised trip starting with prompt hotel pick up, then welcome tea and cake around a campfire while watching the many balloons inflate as dawn arrived.
We met our lovely pilot Amanda who gave us lots of info and a safety briefing. There was some low cloud that morning and as we took off we could see many balloons disappearing into them. Amanda took us through the clouds and when we emerged above, my breath was taken away! To see the snow covered Atlas Mountains at sunrise and many other balloons was just spectacular. Even Amanda was blown away, she described it as ‘heaven’!
After landing, we were driven back to base where a good selection of breakfast items and drinks were waiting and we received certificates.
The whole experience of ballooning is tranquil, calm and very exciting.

Excellent sunrise balloon ride! Pilot Matthew was great at getting us to the best areas and height to see an amazing sunrise and navigating the sky. The Berber breakfast was better than expected. I lived this excursion.

I was picked up on time in a clean and comfy mini van. We drove to the hot air balloon area and there was mint tea and little snacks available, aswell as well as a fire to keep us warm before the activity started. The pilots Cameron and Amanda introduced themselves and we were given a safety briefing before the activity started. There were 11 people in our basket in total and we were split into 4 sections. When we were in the air and could see the sunset, the desert below us and all the other hot air balloons around us, it was magical. We landed in the desert near a road where a mini van was waiting to take us back to the starting point for breakfast. Bonus points for the coffee machines! We were given a certificate for the flight by the pilot. It was amazing; one of the best experiences of my life to date.
Don’t be put off that this is one of the cheaper options, there were a lot of balloons taking off (from what I assume were different companies) and each did the exact same thing we did!

This was an amazing experience, we had our pickup time confirmed the day before by text which was great. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the site told which tent to go into and were able to get coffee or tea. We had an amazing pilot Rigo who made us all feel very safe and welcome. We reached our highest point just as the sun was rising which was amazing and couldn't have asked for better. Once we had a very smooth landing we had breakfast which consisted on a buffet style selection of different items with a choice of hit drink and bottles of water. One piece of advice is to wrap up warm as it gets very cold whilst you are waiting to fly. We were given blankets which helped and there was some fires to stand or sit by for heat.

To be honest this is the 3rd time I've done a hot air balloon ride and initially I was worried that maybe it's cheaper than the other options because of maybe the balloons are older etc. But this experience was so affordable and more than worth it. We signed up for the 7AM pick up. We got notified a day in advance where to meet and time of meeting, 6:15AM. The driver, Omar, was right on time. When we arrived at the camp they were very organized and greeted us with clipboard to check us in. We were served mint tea and chocolate and vanilla cake slices. We sat around a fire or tent (upon check in you were told what tent you would be going in). They let us know when we should head to the tents behind us (10 steps behind us) as we were warming up by the fire. Our balloon pilot, Kimis, a Lithuanian person of origin was friendly, funny and informative as he gave our instructions for the flight in English and French. The entire ride he spoke to us about the landscape and history around and was not shy about answering any questions we had. We had such a smooth landing as the winds were not gusting. After we got on the ground we were served buffet breakfast (a variety of small sandwiches, coffee, mint tea, water bottles, fruits, yogurt, breads olives... and omelete station was also present). We sat down as they've now prepared traditional cushioned seating on the ground and has our breakfast. Kimis came around to give us our certificate of flight and again answered questions I had about Morocco, safety, agriculture. It was refreshing to get another perspective of someone who isn't a part of the Moroccan origin but is from the Western world and lives in the Moroccan culture. It was also refreshing to not feel pressured to tip anyone. Culturally we tip as Americans but it seems like it is expected in Morocco to receive better service. Afterwards they gathered us for our return to the hotel. Omar dropped us off around 10:30AM. This was an exceptional experience and I loved having Kimis, our pilot as well. MUST DO!!

The experience overall was enjoyable but wasn’t carefully planned. We were initially given the time 7am but then told just a few hours before that it’s a 6 am pick up. Regardless of this change, we were picked up at 7.30 am as the driver went to the wrong hotel although the correct address was provided. The instructor on the hot air balloon was absolutely brilliant sharing with us his career work life and also the beautiful history of Marrakech. He did make up for the late pick up.

After numerous bad experiences on pick ups and getting to events this company arrived directly on time and everything ran like clockwork. The pre flight teas and snacks where great. Outstanding experience! From the time we were picked up to the actual air balloon ride and back until drop-off, every aspect went smoothly. This ride might deter some of you from booking given that it is amongst the cheapest ones, but nothing to worry since the experience is top-notch! Included pick-up, tea, coffee, balloon ride, excellent breakfast and drop-off. Definitely recommended!

Amazing experience with a wonderful company that is very reasonably priced
There are so many companies to choose from all with similar experiences but this one was bery organized from start to end
They contacted us night before with instructions for pickup (reasonable time 6:15 others where 4:30-5:30 and sun doesn’t rise till 8:30)
You get to the place of balloon 45-50 minutes drive from Marrakech and you have coffee/tea and biscuits around fire
You get briefing instructions with your pilot and watch balloons being inflated
The flight lasts around an hour then to a delicious breakfast and we’re back to hotel by 11:00 am.
Don’t look any further. Amazing experience with wonderful company
