Fabulous experience, excellent guides throughout and great company. English used. The stop at the Berber House and visit to the Women’s Cooperative was excellent, very worthwhile. Buy something just to show your support. Our Driver and guide (Idris and Shama). The walk to the waterfall is pretty strenuous but I’m 67 and I made it

Come prepared to be treated like family. Samir was an amazing driver and made the ride fun. Our tour guide was also very helpful and patient while hiking. I would recommend this 100000%. Bring comfortbale hiking shoes and an open kind to learn about the village. The food is great as well. Wonderful experience.

Ourika day trip

james_l, Apr 2026
What a wonderful day trip. We drove toe the Ourika Valley with our tour guide Achraf, making a few stops along the way to the waterfalls. Once at the falls we began the climb with.another guide, Idris. The climb is not easy - it is not stairs and paths. It is climbing up and over rocks. Idris was very careful to assist us and make sure we were safe, all the while chatting with.us amd.telling jokes. There are.little souks all throughout the climb. Once down we had a nice.lunch on the banks of the Ourika river. After that, Achraf drive us to a place where we rode camels. In total a great trip and well worth.it

Was ok

Peter_H, Apr 2026
Was ok, nothing more The 2 guides were incredible, but as ever you get dragged to places you don’t want, to buy things you don’t want to buy The climb was good, but very unorganised, could easily have got lost, but in defence, people didn’t read instructions on shoes / clothes, didn’t help Good trip, wouldn’t do it again

wow! was nervous to book...

Jamie_K, Apr 2026
wow! was nervous to book due to some videos on tiktok and negative reviews and i'm SO glad i did not listen. this was such an amazing experience and everything i hoped it would be. from start to finish i loved this excursion. truthfully, the food was tasteless, but i did not come expecting top notch food, just vibes. we got back later than expected, but it wasn't an issue. BE AWARE: the small hike is not a small hike. it's a short hike, but still a hike so pack appropriate shoes and keep this in mind if you are older. it's steep, a lot of steps and i felt a little unsafe... but it's worth it.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for this honest and helpful review! We are so glad you ignored the noise and had an amazing experience. It's great to know the "vibes" met your expectations! We truly appreciate your warning regarding the hike; while short, those steep steps can definitely be a challenge. We'll keep your feedback on the food and timing in mind to help us improve. Safe travels!

The pickup was well...

Jigeeshu_D, Apr 2026
The pickup was well co-ordinated. The guide Jamaal made our journey enjoyable and comfortable. The viewpoint for the Atlas mountains was lovely. The 1.5hr trek to the waterfall was also enjoyable and the guides were helpful and assisted persons throughout the trek. The riverside cafe was nice, and would have been nicer except for the flies. Overall an enjoyable day well spent.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for your feedback! It's great to hear that Jamaal made the journey comfortable and that the trek was well-supported by our guides. We're glad you enjoyed the Atlas Mountain views and the riverside setting. We appreciate the note about the flies at the cafe and will share this with the local team to improve the experience. We're happy it was a day well spent!

An Unforgettable Experience

Amy_K, Apr 2026
We had such an incredible experience on this tour and it exceeded all expectations from start to finish. Fadil, our driver, was brilliant. His communication before and during the trip was clear and reassuring, and from the moment he picked us up he was warm, friendly, and the perfect host. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him—he made us feel completely at ease, safe, and genuinely welcome throughout the journey. His knowledge of the area added so much to the experience as well. Our mountain guide, Abdeloiahid, was equally fantastic. The climb had its challenging moments, but he was always patient, encouraging, and ready to lend a helping hand when needed. His knowledge of the mountains and the local Berber communities was fascinating—he shared so much insight into daily life, traditions, and the culture, which really made the experience feel authentic and meaningful. This trip was truly amazing and one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. If you’re looking to experience the real beauty and culture of the country, I would absolutely recommend this tour. A huge thank you to both Fadil and Abdeloiahid for making it so special.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for this incredible review! We are so happy Fadil's warm hospitality and Abdeloiahid's deep cultural insights made your trip a highlight of your time in Morocco. It is wonderful that you felt safe and supported during the climb. We will be sure to share your kind words with them both. We hope to welcome you back for more authentic adventures soon!

Brilliant day out (disappointed by the camels)

Mark_B, Apr 2026
The day didn't start well as it was raining and the cloud cover was really low. Llyas picked us up from very close to where we were staying, before heading off to the mountains. We stopped at a look out point but the rain was still coming down and could see the view through the clouds. Thankfully, by the time we had finished in the Argon Oil cooperative (Layla was a fantastic guide here), the clouds had lifted and the sun came out. Next stop we got out at a Berber village to start our trek up the mounting to the waterfall. Here we met our 'trek' guide Abdul. I can't say enough good things about Abdul, he was brilliant. Informative, enthusiastic, passionate, courteous and great with the kids. After lunch by the river we headed back down the mountain to the camel "experience". This was the only disappointment of the whole day. We pulled over to a lay-by on the side of the main road where we met and rod etc camels, firstly along the roadside and then down a short track where we were promptly turned around and it was over, literally 10 mins, enough time for a p picture or two and then off. Not worth the money at all. Overall the experience was great, Llyas our driver and all day guide was great. Always on hand and close by if we needed, very polite and courteous. Overall I would definitely recommend the experience (without the camels).

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience! We’re glad that despite the rainy start, your day turned out to be enjoyable. It’s great to hear that Llyas took good care of you throughout the trip, and that Layla at the argan cooperative, as well as Abdul during the trek, made such a positive impression—your kind words about his enthusiasm and care, especially with the kids, mean a lot. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the camel experience. We understand your disappointment and will definitely take this into account as we work to improve this part of the excursion. Thank you again for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you again for an even better experience next time!

Great experience but very touristy

Charity_K, Apr 2026
All organised extremely well and the guides were lovely. It was a good experience and a lovely walk in the mountains, but incredibly touristy - multiple busloads were on the same tour!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for your feedback! 😊 We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the organization, the lovely guides, and the mountain walk. We also appreciate your honest note about the tour being quite busy. We understand that high visitor numbers can affect the experience, and we’ll keep this in mind as we continue to improve. Hope to welcome you again for an even more relaxed adventure next time!

Wish it was better

Katie_L, Apr 2026
The waterfall was absolutely beautiful but I should have just booked the transportation there and back on my own. I was hoping our guide Selma would have taught us more about the land we were visiting. But, she didn’t say much. The argan women’s coop unfortunately felt like a total scam and the person who was talking to us about the products was a man which was weird. The food at the restaurant we visited was great. Lastly, this definitely took longer than the ad said it would. We were late getting picked up around 930am and didn’t get dropped off until about 7pm, Almost 9 hours!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad you found the waterfall beautiful and enjoyed the food at the restaurant. However, we’re sorry to hear that parts of the experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments about the guide’s explanations, timing of the day, and the stop at the argan cooperative are taken very seriously, and we will review these points with our team to improve both the experience and the accuracy of our communication. We appreciate you taking the time to share this, as it helps us do better.

Great experience. A must...

Junaid_K, Apr 2026
Great experience. A must visit place for children and adults. Prepare yourself for a lot of walk. Food was average.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for your feedback! 😊 We’re happy to hear you had a great experience and that it was enjoyable for both children and adults. We also appreciate your note about the walking and the food, and we’ll keep this in mind to help improve future experiences. Hope to welcome you again soon!

An incredible day trip

Jess_B, Apr 2026
An absolutely incredible day trip from Marrakech! Mazzi, our driver, picked us up from our accommodation in a minibus which was clean and comfortable, and drove us gently up into the mountains. En route, we stopped at a view point to take pictures and had the opportunity to purchase local crafts. We then visited the Amazigh village and got to see how Amazigh people traditionally live which was a wonderful experience. After this, we visited the women’s argan oil co-operative, where we were shown how argan oil (both cosmetic and edible) is made, and got to try different forms of cosmetic and edible oil. After this, we started a 1.5hr hike into the mountains, which offered incredible views and also included passing through a number of small shops and stalls with local artisanal goods. The hike was easy-moderate, and our guide Abdul was very attentive, offering a helping hand when needed and keeping a steady pace for the group. We stopped under the waterfall for mint tea, and then began the hike back, following a different route to maximise the views. After this, we settled at a restaurant along the river for lunch. We opted for the lunch included option and could not believe how much food we received! This was honestly one of the best meals we had in Morocco, the food was all perfectly cooked and the restaurant staff were very kind and attentive. The menu offers several vegetarian options which we were glad to see. We had roughly 1.5hrs for lunch and did not feel rushed at all. After this, Mazzi drove us back to our accommodation in Marrakech. Overall an incredible day and well worth the price!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much for such a detailed and thoughtful review! We are thrilled to hear that your trip from Marrakech was the highlight of your time in Morocco. It is wonderful to know that you enjoyed the cultural experience at the Amazigh village and the argan oil co-operative. I will be sure to share your kind words with Mazzi and Abdul—they will be so happy to hear they made your day special. And we agree, there’s nothing quite like a traditional lunch by the river after a hike! We hope to welcome you back again soon

Very well organised. Quite steep scramble up the mountain to the waterfall about an hour. Great views once there. Wear good footwear. Amazing lunch by the river on traditional restaurant . Would highly recommend fir a day out from the hustle of the city

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Day in the mountains

Mike_J, Apr 2026
Achraf WhatsApp contacted me a day ahead with make/model of the car and was a cool guy fluent in 4 languages. We drove to the collective for oils, tea, gifts and he guided every step of the way, handing me off to a guide for the hike and lunch and back to Marakesh. highly recommend 6.5 hour private day.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thanks for the high recommendation! We're glad the coordination with Achraf made everything easy for you—he really is a pro with those four languages! It’s great to hear you enjoyed the whole flow of the day, from the collective to the hike and lunch. We’d love to host you again for another private tour anytime

Really lovely trip...

Louise_W, Apr 2026
Really lovely trip Jamal was a great driver/guide and our group of 11 family members (aged 7 to 62) have all gone back with precious memories. Our walking guide, Mohamid, was also excellent, steering us through mountain tracks and through Berber houses. Really good value for money and stunning scenery.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much for the lovely review! We’re so happy that your whole family, from the youngest to the oldest, had such a great time. It’s no small feat to keep a group of 11 happy, but Jamal and Mohamid truly love what they do—I’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to them. It was a pleasure showing you the beauty of the mountains and our Berber culture. Hope to see you all again someday

Impossible trek specially for seniors

Bal_K, Apr 2026
The so called trek is nothing but a challenge in climbing relentlessly over markedly high steps, and at places having to step on big boulders in the middle of a raging stream

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate your honest description of the climb; the path to the waterfall involves steep, uneven steps and navigating rocky terrain near the water, which can be quite physically demanding. Your feedback is helpful for future travelers to understand that this trek requires a significant level of agility and effort. We hope that despite the challenging ascent, you were able to find some moments of enjoyment during your day.

Amazing trip !!

Vijeta_M, Apr 2026
It was very fun, and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. The main activity, the hike, is so calming and adventurous. The other sights are very historical, such as the old houses and production Argan oil. Would definitely recommend, as everyone is delightful and the tour itself was great fun.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you so much! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a fun and adventurous time with us. Worth it

Sayed_A, Apr 2026
It was good value for money. Would highly recomend. The organisers messaged on watsapp the evening before with the departure location and time. We left on time at 0800 Boodra explained and updated us with the program regularly We stopped at a nice scenic location enroute to the argan cooperative. Their honey was very very very nice (wish I bought some). We then left towards setti fatima. The trek is steep and worth the climb. We a family of 3 enjoyed it. Keep in mind it may not be suitable for very young children or elderly. After the trek we had a 3 course lunch. The honey in a shop along the same road is very nice. We had a smooth ride back. We lgot back to marakech at رحم الله والديكم

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Barakallahu feekum!
