I had an amazing time ! This activity was highly recommended when I explored things to do and I don't regret it at all. The staff was friendly , they spoke English, French and Arabic so many of the people could understand. Our driver picked everyone up at their Riads and hotels , he even stayed on the phone with me when I couldn't find him. The staff were all nice and accommodating. The flight in total was about 40 minutes and they served a light snack when you arrive and a full hot breakfast when you leave. It was a little chilly where we were so you should bring a jacket. I was traveling solo and this was perfect because you could explore in a big group. Highly recommend this group, I felt safe and had so much fun as a solo traveler .
The only thing I would recommend is to ask the pilot which side of the basket is closest to the sunrise. It was hard to get the sunrise picture from my side of the basket. If pictures are important to you definitely try make sure you are seated on the outmost corner (so your views are unobstructed by other phones and people ) and that you are close to the sunrise .!

100/10!! Must do if visiting Marrakesh! Absolutely stunning views and the experience is like no other. BE AWARE this is VERY weather dependent so having some flexibility and understanding there is no controlling nature is required but when it works out you’ll be in for a very memorable treat. Cant recommend enough!

We have been disappointed by the booked experience. Besides the good ride in the air balloon (this part was good, almost 1 hour at 1000 mt and with good views), the quality of the rest was very poor and not compliant with what promised in the experience. We expected that the pick up would have been at our riad at 5:00 (the ticked and the description starting time stated) to see the sunrise - the night before, we got a message that it would have been at 7:05 instead. This sounded suspicious for sunrise .. anyhow, this morning, we have been asked to walk to a parking instead that was 1,7 km from our riad to meet - on our complain we met closer, after 15’. We left at 7:30 from the Zizi parking at the Medina and … the minibus drove around for 1:30h to collect all others. At 8:45 we were back at the same place we had earlier been picked up - we arrived at the airport balloon location at 9:15 .. well after the sunrise. Not refreshments, we rushed straight to the balloon. The ride was good, very pleasant. At 10:20 we have been taken to a location where the delightful breakfast should have taken place. It was very disappointing. Few trays with few cold fingerfood, a cup of tea, a can with yogurt and this was - just edible but far from being what in the experience description. As a summary, air balloon was very nice but the overall service quality that we paid for was not at the expected, as promised, level.

This is a fantastic experience. However, I would never book with this local operator or Viator again. We specifically booked and paid extra for a sunrise flight. We were told the local operator would confirm the pick up time the day before. This did not happen. On chasing them, I was informed the sunrise flight was fully booked. Despite informing the operator that I had booked the advertised sunrise flight, I was told they could not honour the booking, as this is in a ‘First book first fly’ basis! Viator confirmed a sunrise flight was available with other operators, but refused to change the booking, insisting I cancel and then rebook at a higher price! I had no other option than to accept the second flight of the day. All in all, a fantastic experience, but awful customer service.
