Great company and very well organised. We were picked up promptly and they even rang us when they turned up. It was very chilly at 6am but we were given hot tea and cake and camp fires to keep us warm while the balloons were being inflated. To see about 50 balloons in the sky as the sun rose was a magnificent sight! The journey was amazing and our pilot was good fun and very informative. After landing we were given a gorgeous Berber breakfast of fresh fruit, hot breads and dips sitting in the sunshine. An extremely exhilarating experience I would definitely recommend.

Use a different supplier this one cancelled the night before saying weather would be bad turns out it was one of the calmest a warmest days this week and when we rebooked at the hotel the guide called their balloon company who confirmed all balloons had taken off that day

The best thing we did in Marrakech. Totally worth the experience, especially when we were above the clouds to see the sunrise and a lot of hot air balloons from a distance, it was exhilarating, totally forgot my fears. Incredible experience, I was picked up around 06:10am and taken to launch site where we had tea on the scenic terrace before the balloon ride, lasted around 40 mins and was unbelievable watching sunrise and seeing all the other balloons, after landing we had beautiful breakfast before transfer back to hotel where I was dropped off around 10:45am

This was a seem-less experience from start to finish. They picked us up at our hotel, took us to the base. Gave us tea and cake and let us watch the balloons being set up. Comprehensive safety briefing and then off to the balloons. Seemed to be in the balloon a good time, went as high as he could take us (over a KM above the ground!). Brilliant views. Option to buy a video taken by drones. Landing was good and at all times I felt they crew were fully in control and safety was paramount. Following the flight, the breakfast provided was fantastic -a huge fruit platter, hot bread, eggs, pancakes cream cheese tea and orange juice - best brekky we had in Morocco! Brilliant experience - even more special as it was my birthday! Oh and the base had the best toilets we encountered during our trip!!

A sunset hot air balloon ride and sunset camel ride is advertised but apparently does not exist. I paid for this and was notified at 10pm night before that I would be picked up at 5:15am for SUNRISE hit air balloon ride which I specifically requested not to go on. Still waiting for refund🙄

We had a blast flying in the hot air balloon over the Atlas Mountains. The pick up in town was smooth, safety debriefing was simple and straightforward. Our pilot Mouhssin was fun and friendly, even offered to take pics for everyone up in the air. The basket was however little bit tight, we even had a last min addition into our already quite filled sections. Felt like maybe there should be weight limits for each section, coz my friend and I (the 2 smallest ones in our section) had to sit on top of each other during landing coz the others took up so much space.

This booking hooked us up with vendor Sky Discovery who have a very professional set up. We were advised of our pick up time from our hotel late afternoon the day before and their Landcruiser was on time at 04.20. After a brisk 20 minute drive to the launch site we were greeted with coffee or mint tea in a traditional tented setting and sat beside one of two log fires. The two balloons being used are different colours and the forty passengers were each given one of two wooden balloon shaped paddles depicting the balloon that they would be going up in. Our group of twenty then watched our balloon being inflated before climbing into the basket. Five persons in each section with the pilot in the middle. After a few more blasts from the gas burners we were up up and away, gaining height quickly. We suddenly realised the scale of the many balloon operations in the area when we saw around fifty other ballons floating in the sky around us. A really awe inspiriring view as the Sun rose from the clouds on the horizon. Unfortunately that morning was cloudier than the rest of the week so the view to the Atlas mountains was limited. During the flight we were briefed on the heights being achieved (1367 feet) and how crouch down in the Landing Position. This was repeated again as the altitude lowered as a practice for the real landing. We came in low over pylons and walls and after a couple of bumps the basket landed upright aided by a team on the ground. Amazingly we ended up in almost the same spot as we took off from. The Sun was now quickly eating away at the remaining clouds. After clambering out of the basket we were greeted by a wonderful traditional Moroccan breakfast. The five of us from our section of the balloon basket sat around a large metal plated table containing many fruits including Pineapple, Mango, Raspberries & Avocado. An egg omelet, warm breads, tea & fruit jiuce were then brought to us and gleefully consumed. All too soon we were asked to return to the Landcruiser for the return journey. Our driver again played some traditional Gnaoua music tracks by Maalem Hamid El Kasri which I particularly liked. The main instrument being a guembri (a three-stringed bass lute. That concluded a most enjoyable morning on my wifes birthday. We were back poolside at the same time as we would have been if we had awoken for breakfast at our usual time. Was it just a dream? A warm thank you to all the team at Sky Discovery. The only thing they couldn't do anything about was the clouds that morning.

Highly recommended- this was well organised and very enjoyable. The balloon ride was smooth and the landing was easy! The views from the balloon were magical. Also a nice breakfast afterwards. Only grumble was that the pick up time was not confirmed until late on the previous evening so recommend getting in touch a few days before to confirm. We were the first pick up at 4:45am and then spent 45+ mins picking other people up in Marrakesh… but apart from that no complaints - and worth it despite the very early start.
