Amazing value for money. Picked up from our hotel on time, driven to desert where we had tea and pastry. Up in the balloon for an hour then breakfast when we landed. Friendly staff and special thanks to George our pilot for a smooth landing.

Very professional and very good communication from the start. The breakfast was simple, homely with vegetarian options. The entire crew were very kind and professional. Warned us 2 days prior itself to re book our experience due to the bad weather.Although it was a group experience, felt like private experience.

My first-ever hot air balloon experience over Marrakech was absolutely unforgettable. From the very start, the door-to-door pick-up and drop-off made everything seamless and stress-free, setting the tone for a perfectly organized adventure. The flight itself was pure magic. With incredibly clear visibility, we floated peacefully above the landscape as the sun rose, casting warm golden hues over the desert and the majestic Atlas Mountains in the distance. Watching the sunrise against that dramatic backdrop was truly mesmerizing—one of those rare moments that stays with you long after it’s over. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and reassuring, which made the entire experience feel safe and enjoyable, especially for a first-timer. After landing, we were treated to a delicious breakfast that was both generous and satisfying, a perfect way to cap off the morning. The experience was made even more special with stunning drone shots that beautifully captured the scale and serenity of the flight—memories I’ll treasure forever. This was literally one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. Tom and his staff were amazing. The ride to the balloon site was very bumpy and rocky however we arrived in one piece and it was all worth it. Breakfast was so nice and delicious. I would pick this experience a million times again.

This was an amazing experience not just the balloon flight, from the minute we got picked up the people were warm, family and happy to see you. We arrive to tea water and biscuits, as it was an early start. We got to watch the balloon being assembled. The pilot can and introduced himself which was lovely, no language barriers as the team between him spoke several lanaguages On the flight the pilot and his crew were fabulous, chatting away and explaining the flight etc. I felt very safe in their hands. The balloon flight was beautiful. We had a a lovley breakfast after landing. I would recommend getting the photos and video so worth it to capture the experience in the air. Also i would suggest taking some cash as a tip as the service was outstanding, the pilot and his team thanked us for attending as we were leaving on the bus home. Thank you for a great experience from start to finish. I will treasure the memory and my certicate. Mags & Joe

Just WOW It was first experience for the four of us and it’s was great one. They changed the pickup time so we can see the sunrise. The ride is relaxe, smooth take off and landing .Everything was perfect from start to finish.

The experience overall was pretty awesome. But I think we drew the short straw, as we didn't fly in the first round. When we got to the departure area, all of the balloons were already up in the sky. The sunrise will be seen from the balloon for those who fly in the first round. We were going to see the sunrise from the ground. And we were going to wait for the balloons to return. Until then we have a very delicious breakfast to take. The flight experience was awesome. We defintely wanted to fly surrounded by many, many other balloons, but at least we didn't fly solo, there were about 4 other balloons.

Fabulous experience. So calm and quiet. Peaked out at 3500 feet and sensational views of the Atlas Mountains. One word of caution. The company was supposed to pick us up at our hotel. We received an email the night before changing the pickup location. We had to scurry around to find a way to get to the new location by 6am. It’s not easy to plan for that when you are staying inside the Medina in Marrakech. Have a Plan B in your pocket if you book this event.

Easy transport from Riad to launch site. Hot tea waiting when we arrived. Our pilot Tom and his team were amazing. The ride and view were spectacular. No lie, be prepared- it is chilly in the desert. Wear warm clothing especially in winter. Be ready to climb in and out of the balloon basket. Not appropriate for people with mobility issues. After the balloon ride breakfast, with tea, coffee, OJ , hard boiled eggs and various bread products and fruit. Not celiac friendly. But the drinks, eggs and fruit were enough.

Very well organised and executed! Was picked from hotel and then dropped back. The whole ride was so good with stunning views over the Atlas mountains and the sunrise. A must do. It was cold however in the morning( January ) though they light a fire to add to the experience. It best to get enough warm clothes on the trip.

Please be aware this is not a sunrise balloon flight, it is a mid morning flight. Everybody on the tour through it was a sunrise tour, and were disappointed. But the flight was nice once we got going.

The experience was wonderful. The pick up was perfectly and on time. The breakfast could have been a bit slightly better (maybe traditional?) however, it served its purpose and was as mentioned in the details. The flight was astonishing and serene. It’s a morning flight (not explicitly sunrise). Some people were upset because we were still on ground while sunrise was happening - clearly they didn’t read the details carefully which is ridiculous. It was a muddy desert, our van got stuck, However that’s no one fault. I believe it is a part of the experience. They worked hard to find solutions and deliver the service. I am grateful for that, unlike some people in our group…. Over all, I would recommend this experience. It is one I will remember for a lifetime.

Disappointing hot air ballooning not happy ballooning

The Moroccan crew were good; however we were not satisfied with the pilot. He did not give any commentary throughout the brief journey. There was no safety briefing by the pilot; no description of the altitude; how the hot air balloon works etc. He was just flying the balloon low. It was a cloudy day and rainy. The altitude taken was very low over ruins of barren land, no where near Atlas Mountains contrary to the descriptions in the happy ballooning website. Obviously no sunrise seen due to weather. We felt they should have rescheduled for a sunny day which was 2 days later or option of 50% discount for a sunny day offered. It was a disappointing flight. The breakfast was good. when the rainy/ cloudy weather was known the day before; appropriate rescheduling should have taken place. It is an expensive activity that could have been handled differently. Overall not satisfied.

This was our first time doing the hot air balloon ride. So we were little hesitant but turned out to be one of the best experiences in Marrakesh. The tour was well planned and maintained. From pick up to drop off, everything was great. It was wonderful to see Sun rise and have Berber breakfast with Moroccan tea. Will do it again.

Pickup was smooth. The distance is reasonable. The group is not too big. The breakfast was simply but good. The hot air balloon was a beautiful, peaceful, exciting experience. Our captain was very cool. The group of tourists was very friendly.

Absolutely amazing experience. Very well organised. Would definitely recommend. Was a treat for my daughter on her birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Bit of a mix up with the pick up time, I had to chase it myself as id not heard from them. They promptly responded and gave me a pick up time of 6.40am but my booking was for 5am, I asked if it would definitely be a sunrise experience as id seen some reviews saying they had missed the sunrise. They confirmed that sunrise would be 8am with it been winter time and they were spot on. All went well, we also purchased the photo and video package for 400dirm and it was well worth it. You get given a gopro and there is a drone following you around in the air. I did feel a tiny bit squashed as there was probably 20 of us in the balloon but all in all absolutely recommend. Had a great time. Wasn't far from my resort. Was back by 10am ish to carry on the day as normal.

It was as advertised. Lovely breakfast setting, watching the balloons go up at sunrise. 30 mins earlier might have been nicer but still lovely. We had about 45 mins in the air. On time pick up and drop Off. Typical breakfast. Nice time.

I loved this balloon ride in Morocco. The area is beautiful and the site was really pretty. The team are really friendly and happy. Tom, our pilot, was informative, kind and funny. Note - From this site we were the only balloon to take off. If you want to be within the group of balloons you would need to go with another company. Being the only balloon had the benefit of it being quiet.

Such great service from these guys. We had booked for a certain day but unfortunately due to illness I had to cancel, literally a few hours before pickup. They were totally understanding however and let us select another day of our choosing, a few days later. They didn't have to do this as was well past the 24hr cancellation policy, so very thankful for this. As for the balloon flight, top notch from pick up, to breakfast to the balloon ride itself. In the air for almost an hour! Definitely worth it if you are visiting Marrakech. Our driver even stopped off on the way back, at our request, for some bits at a shop. 10/10 service and experience.

The Ballonride was spectacular! The views were breathtaking especially at sunrise. The ride felt safe at all time and the driver Georg was well experienced. The transfer and breakfast was pretty organised and the base, were breakfast was served, was very nice. Would definitely recommend!!
