Absolutely brilliant! The staff here work so hard, they’re very entertaining, doing shows and getting the public involved. They’re always happy to have photos with you.
The place is beautiful, so much to see and very reasonable priced. We spent around 4 hours here. Food and drink is very good value.
My only gripe was the Robin Williams shrine was not open. Great day otherwise

It was a great experience, highly recommend to visit Popaye's Village. It was not overcrowded because it is February and it's not high season, but the weather was perfect.

Visited in winter but I think in summer it would be better as there are more options to spend your time. It would be easily worth a day.

I loved the concept of this place. Great to see the 1980 film set of Popeye well preserved and maintained. Some good childhood memories were relived. However, this is a place more for children than adults.

What a fantastic place , so much more than just a film set , it’s a whole day out , wished we’d have got there earlier to secure a lovely sunbed by the beach but we did t realise it had so much to offer !
The set itself is brilliant and the characters were brilliant too, really bort it to life We will defo be goin again each time we come to Malta !

Good day out, very busy after 12 o’clock but get there early and you can look around the village in peace, we also managed to get a sun bed, have a swim, a very good day overall.

Great place for adults and children , good fun , Popeye actors are funny and fab .
Beautiful setting right by the water , where you can swim .

Everyone was very caring & helpful. All of the characters were great & played their rolls with real enthusiasm & joy. Fun for all ages 0-99. A great place to be especially if u have fond memories of Popeye and also Popeye in the 1980's film staring Robin Williams. I can't forget the beautiful handcrafted silversmith that also does charming demonstration.
It's a must see, I promise the prices are soft. U can't leave without a cherished ring, necklace or something that will fit your fancy.
It brought me back to the wonderful memories of my childhood. The theamed characters speak various languages and are always happy to meet & greet for fotos with everyone.
The little shows they do are short sweet & exciting everyone can join in!
Until next time my lovies; I say so long. Thank u for helping me enjoy my solo trip. Next time I'm bringing the whole famdamily (Family)

Very disappointing. Although we had 'priority tickets it took over 30 minutes to check-in. Only one staff member that had to personally place the wristband. A sign was posted at the water warning of jelly fish hazard. Santa's Toy Town and Robin William's shrine WIP were not open. The mini golf 'course' was just a few very worn boxed holes rather than an actual course. The skit was seriously way beyond cheesy (Popeye's arms need some work!) ...the entire village is very worn and the sets are in need of a refurbishment. The Seafarers restaurant's burgers and salad were very good, although a bit pricey (€14 burger). Pizza not so much - very little sauce. Overall I do not recommend visiting until they step it up a bit. We will not return. (3 adults, 4 children)

Popeye Village film set was smaller than we expected, but that didn't detract from how much fun it was. We were able to see all the sets within an hour and then spent some time lounging at the water for a while. This is a great attraction for kids of all ages (our group was a bunch of 50+). Overall this was a great day out and we enjoyed it immensely, even the ones who didn't go for a swim in the bay.
We only spent about 3 hours there, but that was more than enough time to go through the village and enjoy the water.

Ideal if you've got younger kids as the pools etc are the ideal set up to stay for a day.
Quite a few places of the film set are under repair, so it's worth to keep in mind.
The shows are fun and the staff are great. The attraction itself could really capitalise on adding more to see and do there, such as boat rides or canoe hires or something.
