Make your way to the Plaza de San Miguel in central Madrid, where you’ll meet a guide and get fitted with an electric bike and helmet. Once you’re comfortable using the electric assist on your bicycle, follow the guide along narrow streets on your way to Calle Toledo and Plaza del Conde de Barajas, an atmospheric square with a cluster of artisan’s shops.
Hop off your bike to explore the San Miguel Market, long a destination for local cooks and food lovers, then continue over the cobblestones towards Plaza Mayor, once the heart of life in the city.
You’ll have a view of Plaza de Oriente, and can spot the entrances to the Royal Palace of Madrid and the Teatro Real, Madrid's historic opera house. Ride through the Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro, and pedal an easy-going route along the Manzanares River to the Templo de Debrod, a rebuilt ancient Egyptian temple. This electric bike tour concludes at the Plaza de San Miguel.

Jacob is an amazing guide. He’s very knowledgeable & spoke in English & Spanish to accommodate everyone on our tour. My family learned so much about Madrid (past & present) in a very efficient manner. We loved biking to the major sites & learning about each place. There was time for pictures at each stop and a stop for water & restroom break. Jacob gave us wonderful food & wine recommendations after the tour as well. This is a great way to experience monumental sites of Madrid. Book this tour!

Tour guide was great. Was a little disorganised getting the bikes and a lot had issues like poor brakes, seat not staying up, electric going on and off but overall it was a fantastic tour got to see and learn alot about the history of Madrid.

Turns out it was National Spanish Day so the areas we were supposed to see were unavailable. I wish we'd been given an opportunity to reschedule. Instead we took an alternate route with much time in the park. It was beautiful but it was basically just a bike ride.
Our guide, Oscar, was very personable and loved history. He had some great graphics on an iPad to explain the few sites we were able to see.
I had not bring a jacket and it was colder than expected but he went the extra mile and lent me one of his.
About half way through the trip we discovered my gearshift wasn't working. He called his colleague who rode another bike down to us.
The new one, I was warned only had one brake working . It didn't have much pep and I had a very difficult time going uphill.
My husband said his chain was loose.
I think I would have enjoyed a different day where we saw the more iconic sites.
The guide did the best possible job it's not his fault that the equipment needs upgrading.

Great way to see Madrid highlights ! If you don’t have much bicycle experience I would not recommend though , streets were busy and hard to negotiate sightseeing , keep an eye on guide etc . Overall I did really enjoy as I love biking and great way to see the basics and the beautiful parks .

A good way to see the city. However, arrival was very disorganized and they were late starting. Zero safety briefing or ascertaining riding level of participants. Guide was lovely, but hard to understand.

Jacob was an excellent host and tour guide for our e-bike ride around Madrid. He was funny, informative and a bit irreverent, which was a perfect fit for our group. The bikes all were in good working condition for rentals and we were given helmets, a great option given Madrid’s traffic. Highly recommended.

The tour was OK. The guide was great, but the bikes were subpar. They were electric, but they didn’t go by themselves and I was expecting them to be self propelling and it was hard to get through the crowds of people with the peddling that I had to do so if you are looking for a leisure, Lee, I would recommend doing something else but otherwise it was a good tour

too many ppl in the tour, they had to ended out tour after 37 min because we were behind. I wish if they had less ppl since the streets are so busy with cars.

This was a great way to cover a large area and get an overview of Madrids key sights and its parks.
Our guide spoke good English and was a great source of information. The bikes were easy to ride and well maintained.
I'd have been happy to have had some fifteen mins longer as at times it felt a little rushed but overall it was excellent and was the best thing I did in Madrid.

Decent places visited, horrible readiness and execution by the tour guide. Bikes were in poor condition, started tour over 30 minutes late, no concern for safety including offering helmets, do’s and don’ts of driving in busy Madrid traffic. Only a leader up front, nobody on the backend behind the last rider. Terrible execution.

the best way to explore this beautiful city is by bike! 🛵 My wife and I had an unforgettable experience with Andrea cycling through the vibrant streets, discovering hidden gems and iconic landmarks that we wouldn’t have been able to reach by car, and definitely not on foot in just one day!
We started our journey in the heart of Madrid and hit all the major historic sites:
🏛 Plaza Mayor– The grand central square where history and culture blend seamlessly.
⛪️ Almudena Cathedral– A stunning piece of architecture that’s just as breathtaking on the inside as it is on the outside.
🎨 Museo del Prado– We didn’t just zoom past; we stopped to appreciate some of the world’s greatest masterpieces!
🏰 Royal Palace of Madrid– The grandeur of Spain’s royal history at its finest.
🌳 Retiro Park– A serene break from the hustle and bustle, where we enjoyed a peaceful ride around the park's stunning lake and gardens.
📷 Puerta del Sol– The iconic central square where we felt the pulse of Madrid.
🏗 Temple of Debod– An ancient Egyptian temple offering the best sunset views in the city.
🚴♂️ As we biked through narrow streets and wide boulevards, we felt completely immersed in the city’s energy. Andrea shared some great History and even showed some great Art bringing us back to those times. It was so interesting!
If you’re planning a trip to Madrid, I can’t recommend biking enough. It’s an eco-friendly, fun, and incredibly efficient way to see the city. Trust me, you won’t miss a thing! 🌍❤️
