We have done bike tours in cities around the world - it’s our favorite way to see a new city especially at the beginning of our trip. This tour quickly rose to the top of our list of favorites. Our tour guide Gonzalo was amazing - knowledgeable, thoughtful about checking to understand what we wanted to learn about and then sharing what he knew (which was a lot!), and fun to talk to. We felt fully safe on the tour - following was easy. Biking was not strenuous - a few small hills but very manageable. We got lucky in that we were the only ones in our group but I’m sure it would have been just as good with a larger group. We recommend this tour without hesitation!

Our guide Albero was not attentive enough. We were strangers in this city and needed our guide to stay closer. It made the tour stressful rather than enjoyable.

To keep everyone safe and comfortable around city crowds and traffic, we always advise that guests have some prior urban cycling experience for our City Center tour. If you ever visit us again, we highly recommend our River and Parks tour—it avoids main street traffic, visits the car-free Retiro Park, and offers a much more relaxing ride. David our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable about history of Madrid. Every time we travel to a new country we take an electric bike tour. By far, this tour was the best and felt very safe as most of the tour was not on main streets. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Great job David.

Exceptional tour and can’t stop talking about it. We went with our grown up son and his girlfriend and we all were unanimous when we said this was or best day in Madrid.
Sergio was a brilliant and informative bike/tour guide who knew all the history and as a local, born and bred in Madrid knew his city inside out. He made history come alive and we covered a lot of territory so had a good grasp of the city’s culture and heart beat. A must do tour we would highly recommend.

Dear Pam, we are very happy you had such a good time with our tour guide, Gonzalo. It's very important to feel safe in a big city like Madrid. There are minor uphills during the 3-H cycle tour. Nevertheless, our E-bikes make it easy and fun to pedal through the old part of the city and in the beautiful Retiro Park, a jewel right in the centre of Madrid. Alboran was a fantastic tour guide on our bike tour of Madrid. Recommend the electric bike. There are a lot of hills. Loved this tour the most!! Thank you Alboran.

Our guide Juan Filipe was very knowledgeable and super kind!
The guide was excellent and we had a great time. I wanted to give him five but 4 of the places on list he didn’t take us to. I didn’t realize this is until we are back. This is kind of disappointing.
Sergio was incredible. He was knowledgeable but more importantly he was inviting and engaged and present. Do this trip the first day you get in. It will give you a great sense of most of the city and the other parts that I visited later weren’t as compelling. Then you can go back to the places you liked the most. Eat at Cava Baja!
Great way to see the city in a short period. Covered a lot of ground of the most important sites of Madrid. Remy was informative and helpful with his comments.
Sergio was a wonderful guide! He took us to all of the interesting places in Madrid, stopping to give us historical and current history. We got a Madrid in a day experience. I highly recommend this as a starting point for you to learn and get oriented to the city!
Lovely ride around Madrid and got to see some interesting buildings. Bikes were good but we felt that the 'guiding' didn't come together well. Also quite hard to hear our leader and to get everyone in close. We didn't think the leader managed the group so that everyone was looked after and had access to the information that was shared.
Great way for your family to get to know the city! We have 2 children and it was fun to quickly stop at the different sites and get some exercise.

We are able to adapt the city tour itinerary for children with good cycling skills. For families with children, we recommend the river and parks itinerary, off the busy city center.
