The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. You learn a lot more than just doing the audio tour of the abbey.

We booked the VIP tour because I have mobility issues and wouldn't be able to stand in long line ups, it was worth having, still a lot of standing, but some opportunity to sit down while the guide was talking. overall a great tour, the London Eye was another story, I didn't realize it was time stamped and only having a half hour to get from the Abby to the Eye was just not doable so we missed out... I would think the timing would be a bit better, not everyone can sprint from one location to the next....

This was a great tour of Westminster Abbey! There’s so much to see- it was very helpful to have a guide showing us around and tell us the background stories.
Bruce_T, Aug 2026
The tour guides are exceptional! Helpful and hugely accommodating. You have a question, they’ll go out of their way to help you and give you suggestions.
Dayna_S, Aug 2026
Very informative guide and the tour was great. We bought the London Eye with this ticket and it got us a fast track on to the eye. Was great because the line was really long

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and headsets were clear to listen to her stories. Of course, old buildings are hot in the summer. Bring a personal fan for comfort. Priority access to London Eye is a must add on. We waited about 15 min to get on in the fast track line but the regular line looked miserable in the hot sun.

We met Fran, our guide in the Westminster coffee shop for coffee and pastries before the tour began. We had a group of 11 people.
Fran was engaging, polite, fun and full of information about Westminster Abbey. My girls are 16 years of age and they loved the tour, the science corner and the poets corner, it was fabulous. Would highly recommend Fran who also has Irish connections and was thrilled to chat and engage with everyone in the group. He ensured we asked questions whenever we liked and he answered them all with gusto. Great job. Thank you. Sue

Anna tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. We met for coffee/tea / pastries before the tour started. Wonderful to get preliminary info & headsets while seated. Even though it was crowded she waited for everyone in her group to catch up. Digital headsets were very clear. Since we were seniors, Mesna met us at the beginning and returned to walk us to the London Eye. She helped us get upgraded tickets for the Aquarium. She pointed out other things to do like theater etc. it was a well organized tour all around.

We started the tour with croissants and tea. No refills on the tea and they only had 3 croissants for 6 people. It was your average croissant. No other items offered. We then proceeded to do tour Westminster Abbey. Our guide provided humor and history of the people buried in the Abbey. It was hot inside and very crowded. Many people do the walking tour and are not aware of their surroundings making it hard to follow our guide. All in all I enjoyed the tour and seeing the inside.

Peter was incredible, not only was he informative on the history of the Abbey and the people that were involved with the Abbey, but he was very humorous.
Tara_G, Jul 2026
It was a really good tour, our guide Peter was knowledgeable, funny, and a great story teller. We got a lot more out of seeing Westminster Abbey on the tour than if we had gone on our own.
Jamie_M, Jun 2026
Our tour Guide was fabulous, Charlie full of facts abput West Minester Abby , highly recommend. We had a lovely time in the café prior to the tour with the most delicious pastries and tea!

Cheaper to book individually and tour guide was not the most informed and overly sarcastic. Not friendly to kids either.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Nina. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations and that you felt the guide was sarcastic and unfriendly towards children. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide.
Our Westminster Abbey tours are led by professionally qualified Blue Badge Guides and are designed as highlights tours, providing informative commentary for the group as a whole. Due to the tour's duration, we are unable to cover the history in extensive detail.
We are pleased that we were able to accommodate you despite the original booking being made for a different date, and we hope you were still able to enjoy your visit.
Kind regards,

Our guide Amber is a great story teller and performer. She gave us in depth history of Westminster Abbey and not a dull moment. We loved this tour.
JUDITHE_s, May 2026
Our guide was very engaging & provided a good bit of background information before we even started the tour. Her presentation style, knowledge & warm wit added a personal touch to the history & understanding of all we were seeing.
Philip_H, May 2026
Frank was very knowledgeable and very attentive to everyone's questions. He kept us on time. We had a wonderful time.
Kathleen_H, May 2026
Wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable! Loved the small group tour size. Personal guide held my interest, much better than an audio tour would have.
Angela_C, Mar 2026
Great way to get an understanding of the history of the Abbey and the significance of the burials there. Loved the Waterford chandeliers and enjoyed story of Queen Mum placing her wedding bouquet on the grave of the unknown soldier. Frank was great to listen too.
Desiree_S, Feb 2026
Great, engaging and knowledgeable tour guide. I don't remember his name but his country of birth was Israel.

Good size group and nicely paced narrative. Just the right amount of history is presented in the context of the tout
Jill_V, Oct 2025
We really enjoyed the tour. You start with tea and croissants in the conservatory. We had a very knowledgeable tour director. Nice slow pace with lots of time to take in the amazing details of the Abbey. Arrive early and spend time in the gift dhop
Jason_S, Oct 2025
Frank, our guide, is very knowledgeable and did a great job. The coffee/tea service before we began the experience was pleasant. Very easy to identify our group when arriving. Pay the extra for the priority tour instead of being one of the many walking zombies with the head sets.
laura_g, Oct 2025
First , there is no audio device to hear the guide. It is VERY crowded and if any hearing issues it’s difficult to understand. The guide himself was good and easy to understand if you are close and your hearing is good.
Second, I purchased with The Eye option. The eye ticket didn’t “ appear” from Viator. I contacted “ customer service” and was advised to notify the operator when we joined the tour. I did and was told they have no record of the eye ticket. So, I would not say this was worth the $240 I was charged.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Dear Laura,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the guide.
The tour option you selected included Westminster Abbey only. We understand that the website can sometimes be confusing, as it’s easy to select an option that does not include the London Eye. When reviewing your voucher, you can see under the Tour Option Description that your booking is for a guided tour of Westminster Abbey only. Had the London Eye been included, this would have been clearly stated.
We have shared your review with our product manager to explore whether this information can be made more visible on the voucher.
Kim_D, Sep 2025
Unfortunately, we were stuck in traffic and didn’t make it in time for tour. Had to buy an additional ticket to go in on our own.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Dear Kim,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were unable to join the tour due to traffic delays.
According to our notes, the group did wait for you. However, during this time you chose to purchase new tickets while the tour was still waiting at the meeting point. We did our best to assist you, but unfortunately things did not work out as we had hoped.
We hope to welcome you on another Premium Tours experience in the future.
LaurenceR_S, Sep 2025

Sue_M, Sep 2025
