This tour can’t be beat! Barry was incredibly good as a tour guide. Supremely knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to all the main sights and accommodated the few minor changes we requested. Everyone in our group loved it.

My wife and I had a better than expected tour with Barry. I thought at first it was pricey but it was WEP - Worth Every Penny/Pound/Pence. Barry was gracious, helpful, knowledgeable and made the day more wonderful than we expected. We got to see all the things a foreigner wants to see ie; Buckingham Palace, Westminsgter Abbey, Tower of London etal without having to pick and choose what to see. I'd recommend Barry on the first day of your Holiday and pick and choose what/where you want to spend more time. He's not only a schooled historian, but gave us a true sense of the English and Londoners. It confirmed what i thought about many things English-esque and changed my views and understand/appreciation of what I believe are American mis-perceptions about England eg; the Royal Family and their importance to the country. I could go on and on but won't. Just hire this mate...he's amazing and WEP. Last thing, if you're planning to do the Cotswolds/Oxford tour; ask him if when you book the London tour if he can do that as well. We had a fine tour bus with 20+ people but if I knew what i know now, I'd have booked both with him...Cheers...JEM

This was by far the best tour we have ever done and that is saying a lot being we travel frequently. Our guide, Barry went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. He personalized the day and even made us a reservation at a delicious restaurant for lunch. This is definitely the tour you should book if you want to see the most of London with a personal touch.

Barry is a total pro! He knows London like the back of his hand. He took us to the big sights as well as more off the beaten track places. He provided fascinating facts and stories about each stop. Barry is a pleasant fellow, we liked him immediately. As a life long cab driver, he seemed to know just where he could park so we could pop in places quickly. And he also knows exactly where to take a family photo with the most iconic London landmarks in the background.
Barry is a life long Londoner so he can quickly customize the tour based on the interests of the group. For instance, he added two stops he thought our teenage kids would like!
Barry knows how to efficiently get around town so we covered way more ground than we ever could have done on our own. It was 90 degrees the day of our tour. Being able to cool off in his air conditioned cab between stops was ideal.
I can’t recommend Barry’s tour enough, especially for your first day or two in London.

Danny was an excellent tour guide and taxi driver. He showed up exactly where we requested and dropped us off where we requested. We had just arrived from a cruise so we were all arguably exhausted. However, Danny was able to keep us completely engaged in the tour. This was such a great way to get an overview of the city - he shared many stories, locations that we would have not known about, and interesting tidbits about London. We learned a lot of history as well. It is clear that Danny loves what he does. He was funny and entertaining. For those that may not know, taxis drivers in London undergo a lot of training and experience. Rest assured you will get so much more out of this than just having an Uber drive you around. If you have a short time in London, just like we did, this is a fantastic way to see the sights you want to see, as well as many that you may not have even known about. I recommend this tour without hesitation!

Barry’s tour was the perfect introduction to our first-time visit to London. Throughout our tour, Barry shared stories that included not only the history of the many sights we saw but he always added many interesting “fun and entertaining facts” that you wouldn’t learn on your own or in a tour book (such as his tidbits about Piccadilly and wharf – you’ll need to go on his tour to learn more). As a London “cabbie” he expertly navigated the busy (and complicated) streets and had access to the best spots to park when we ventured out at our stops. And he always ensured we had a few great photos of our group before we traveled on to our next stop. We highly recommend Barry’s tour as a “must-do” when you’re in London.

We had a fantastic and memorable time with Barry! As a cabbie, Barry not only knew the ins and outs of the London traffic but had so many stories to share of the different places we squeezed in the 6 hours we had. If you don't have a lot of time in London, this is the best one to have as you get to see all the sights, have the requisite touristy pics, and get a proper fish and chips. We enjoyed the off-the-beaten-path sights the most, where you have London history, mixed with Harry Potter and maybe the punk scene while you're at it. Highly recommended!

Our family enjoyed our private tour with our guide Barry. Everything went smoothly, driver was on time at our pick up spot, and you can plan ahead and choose your end of tour drop off point. Taxi was clean w/bottled water. Barry is an experienced, professional guide. This tour is the best way to see the most of London with the least amount of time. Barry also took pictures for us, which is important to us. I would recommend booking this tour at the beginning of your vacation, so you can see everything. You can decide if you want to go back to spend more time at your favorite locations. I would highly recommend this tour with our guide Barry.

Barry was fantastic! He took us everywhere even though Coronation festivities had streets blocked and clogged. We didn’t miss a thing. He knew exactly where to park for the best pictures and where to grab a great pint afterwards. Very accommodating and so knowledgeable.

This was a fantastic tour of London by a very knowledgeable black cab driver, Barry tailored the tour to our interests, as well as showing us all of the classic London sights.
We were picked up from our hotel, the cab was the perfect way to see London, we had 2 on our tour but you can fit up to 6 in the cab!
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the sights of London with a real London tour guide, great value for money.
