Airport disaster averted!

Had difficulty finding the driver he was not where he said he was waiting for me in the airport, it took a while to find him other than that,. It was a good experience. almost canceled and took cab, but all in all it worked out in the end.

Booked ride the night before and it was confirmed and then they cancelled an hour later. Even though they cancelled the reservation stayed in my trips. If I didn’t check my email I wouldn’t have known they cancelled.

Transportation for airport to London Hotel

I was expecting seamless and comfortable transportation from the airport to my hotel. Instead, what I got was a driver that made me wait 20 minutes to pick me up at the coffee shop in the airport. Then walked us over to his dirty Prius car that he had to take out a car seat. Then try to fit four pieces of luggage along with the car seat and five adults into the small car. During the ride he was on the phone for 75% of the time. Then remembered he wanted to offer us water and said he had an extra one in his car door. Very unprofessional not the service I expected based on the advertisement. I was extremely disappointed.

Cancellation!

Our reservation was canceled and we were not refunded our payment. This company canceled our reservation because our flight was delayed and eventually canceled. They would not transfer my payment to a new reservation for the next day. We had to find a new booking for our trip.

Horrible do not book

If I could Give no stars I would. Worse experience ever. Driver dropped me and my small children in an alley at the wrong location and left. I tried To explain to him it was not the right address and he refused to listen. I called the office and they were aggressive and not helpful. My kids and I sat In an ally for an hour before I was Able to get reception and call an uber. To be clear I gave him the correct location and he put in the wrong location. No empathy, no accountability. Extremely horrible way to start vacation

Very tardy and completely lacking communication

To begin with, we received no communications prior to arrival on who, when, where and how we were to connect with our driver. After retrieving our luggage we scanned the area for our name to no avail. After 30 minutes I messaged through Viator. Another 10 minutes and we finally got a message back from Viator saying driver would arrive shortly, but still no details. Finally a phone call from the driver but very difficult to understand. We told him where we were. He asked if we could come to the third floor as he was at the car park. We took the elevator right next to us to the third floor and waited outside by the curb but no driver. Another many more minutes and several more phone calls. He finally realized we were at the terminal. He was expecting us to know that “car park” meant the garage, to know that was at a different elevator, and to walk to this garage elevator. Totally poor experience. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because he explained he was stuck in traffic and was very apologetic.

We had a delayed flight out of our control. We sent a note 10 hours in advance when we learned of the delay. Because the delay was more than an hour, the company refused to change times or pick us up. They also refused even a partial refund. Anyone running a product related to picking up folks at airports know delays are frequent and should have policies that allow for this. We were taken by nearly $200 USD by this scam of a company. Less important, but showing this company's lack of character - we request a booster seat for our kid who just turned 10 weeks ago. He is very small for his age. They told us boosters can get only be available to ages 9 and under. They discriminate against our kid who happens to be on the small side. They couldn't kd have easily made this right by just picking us up at the later time or offering at least a partial refund. Viator should stop working with this operator, but Viator also refused to help us at all.

However, we would like to clarify that your original flight (AA78), scheduled to land on 26 July 2025 at 14:25, was canceled, not delayed. You then rebooked on flight AA20 for 27 July 2025, which was a completely new travel date, not a same-day delay. As per the terms and conditions agreed upon at the time of booking (and outlined by the third-party operator), schedule changes cannot be guaranteed for next-day arrivals. Because the change was outside the agreed pickup window and due to airline cancellation (which is beyond our control), we were unfortunately unable to adjust the service or offer a refund. Regarding the booster seat: our policy follows local safety regulations, which state that booster seats are available only for children up to 9 years old. While we understand your child may be smaller than average for their age, we are required to follow those rules for insurance and legal compliance reasons. We’re sorry this situation didn’t meet your expectations. We encourage you to reach out to Viator again if you'd like to raise this matter further, but please note that both we and Viator must abide by the policies set out in the booking agreement. Terrible Transfer Service

The driver was extremely late. He said because of the traffic; however, the traffic should have been considered beforehand. We initially waited at the meeting point that we had been advised.The mobility-challenged family member became very frustrated because we were shuttled from place to place. The driver finally arrived and advised us to come to parking lot —-too much! We ended up getting a taxi from the taxi stand.

Lackluster Experience

I’ve booked with Viator plenty of times for previous trips and have never had any issues with our drivers. They typically go above and beyond to assist us, but this experience was extremely lackluster. While Viator was excellent in communicating, that’s the best thing I can say about this experience. We specifically requested an 11:30am pick up time despite our flight landing at 9:50am as we wanted time to enjoy the airport lounge for a bit upon arrival. The 11:30 pick up time was confirmed through messages with Viator as well. For this trip, Viator was contracted with My MiniCab. Once we landed, we received notice that our driver was already there to pick us up at 10:15 and we felt extremely rushed considering we expected an 11:30 pickup. We received a message from Viator again at 11:15 asking if we’re ready to get picked up. We started heading to the meeting point at 11:10 and arrived around 11:15. When we met with the driver his demeanor was off putting right off the bat. He seemed extremely annoyed with us and didn’t help with our luggages at ALL. The entire time he’s just walking quickly ahead of us essentially rushing us to the car. What are we paying this service for? Sure we are paying for transport, but all of our previous experiences as I’ve mentioned before have gone above and beyond to assist us with anything and met us with a pleasant attitude. We have enough luggage for a 3 week trip so assistance would’ve been much appreciated. Instead, once we were done pushing all our luggage through a busy parking structure to the car, the driver essentially demands me to begin loading the luggages in the car. The drive itself was also not a great experience. It was a warmer day and the driver put the air conditioning on the lowest setting possible to the point where it served no purpose because he just left the windows rolled down anyway. Imagine how warm and stuffy it is after navigating through the airport and busy parking structure with all our luggage on a warm day with zero assistance. The other part is that he made no effort to converse with us. Sometimes people don’t want to chat, and that’s ok. His attitude just added insult to injury is all. The part that stuck out to me the most was our arrival at the hotel. This is about the only time our driver helped us get the luggage out of the car because he just wanted to get us out and go on his way. He left us with our luggage on the curb way out in front of the hotel and was about to leave until I gave him a tip. At that point he started putting in work and helped us bring our luggage to the lobby but that was about as much work as he did, only because he saw money. Overall, I did not have a great experience this time around. I believe this was just a one off experience considering I’ve had great experiences before, but just be wary of any contracting with My MiniCab.

Disappointing and poorly organised

Booking private transportation instead of simply taking the taxi is, at least for me, to ensure that the trip has a smooth and easy start, a touch of luxury. That is why I'm willing to pay more than I would with a normal taxi. In our case, the "meet and greet" meant answering several messages regarding our schedule (which was already given at the time of the booking), and then sending several more when the ride did not show up. We waited for 25 minutes without knowing what was going on. Our driver was very nice but clearly not worried at all about the delay, and the car obviously nothing like in the promo picture. So basically I felt I was paying for absolutely nothing, and this service increased my stress level rather than made me trip easier. I would like to ask for my money back. My two stars go for the driver, zero stars for the rest of the service.

I have got to my destination, no problem. But I booked an executive transfer. I was promised a Mercedes E-class/BMW 5-series. Well, this promise was not kept, it was a BMW 3-series station wagon which still wouldn’t be a big let down but my driver looked like he picked us up coming from the gym, sneakers, gym shorts and a loose white t-shirt. So I rate this experience average, i was picked up on time and got to my place. That counts but I paid more for executive service what I haven’t received. If you want an executive car/service perhaps there are better options.

Excellent service - highly recommend!

Our driver was very patient with our severely delayed flights from the U.S. -he watched the flight and planned his pickup accordingly. We only had to wait a few minutes and that’s more so because we flew through immigration and customs. He was very polite, very helpful, and got us to our hotel safely. It was so nice not having to worry about hailing a cab or finding an Uber big enough for 4 people and all of our luggage. Highly recommend!
