Great tour

David was a great guide and such a nice man. He actually went out of his way to meet us rather than us trying to navigate an unknown London. He was very informative and shared many funny and interesting stories about British history. I’d recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about British history.

David, our guide did not know that and fabulously on the spot developed a great neighborhood walking tour through parts of London that we have visited before and some that we had not. We were so lucky to have David to ourselves! He was a fantastic tour guide. The walk took us thru Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Belgrave, Constitution Hill, Knightsbridge, Buckingham Palace St. James and more. (Not necessarily in that order, and not inside any of the buildings.) He was a terrific source of information on royal history, and architecture. Our leisurely pace was perfect, and the ability for questions and conversation made us feel very special.

Our guide, Tom, made the whole tour so much more special. We’ve been on quite a few walking tours and we find it’s the guide that makes or breaks the experience. Tom was a wealth of knowledge and adjusted the tour to chat about parts of the Royal history that we found the most interesting. I would highly recommend and it didn’t cost the earth, either, which a lot of private tours can.
