Your independent sightseeing tour begins with hotel pickup in Central London. Climb aboard your comfortable vehicle for a trip through this historic yet metropolitan city.

A great tour if you don't have a lot of time in London, but want to to see the sites for pictures. Our Driver, Ned, was very flexible with the itinerary, and knowledgeable about maneuvering around the city.

We were greeted and escorted to the van where Ahmed was our driver. We saw all the sites we wanted to see and more. He was very educated on history and that made it so much better! He was very accommodating to our needs and it went exceeded our expectations!

Where to start....the tour company tried to switch our pickup time from 8pm to 7pm. When I called to confirm we were only available at 8pm they confirmed the driver would be able to pick us at that time. Our driver, Tim I believe that was his name didn't show until after 8:15, and opened with where do you want to go and why did you cancel the pick up for 7pm...We booked this tour because we had less than 24 hours in London and wanted a guided tour by someone who knew the area and could show us all the key locations. If I knew London then I wouldn't have needed a tour...When I reminded him that the tour was for 3 hours, he seemed to be stretching the time by driving by the same landmarks 4-5 times. When brought up other historical landmarks that we'd like to see, he had to map quest to the location. At one point he seemed lost and I had to help with directions by my phone. I would never suggest to tour to anyone. It was horrible and a complete waste of money

Our driver Ahmed W184 was amazing! We ended up taking almost two hours going through passport control which made us late for our tour. Ahmed worked with us to meet us in a different location so we wouldn't waste anymore time. He then tailored our tour to meet our needs, hitting all the spots we wanted to see in the time we had. We had such a good time and his company and knowledge of the city history made for a memorable excursion. We only had a long layover in London and wanted to maximize our time, Ahmed ensured our needs were met. I highly recommend taking this tour.

Driver never showed. Calls to find out why resulted in being told no such booking existed. They did, howver, manage to charge my credit card for the tour.

My parents and I took this tour and weren't sure of how it would turn out. However, Flavius took us to a lot of places we had not even heard of before even after having visited London a couple of times and also gave us many insider tips. The trip was amazing overall. Highly recommended

Poor review doesn't reflect the driver who was very nice. He was called into service when our driver didn't show up, for supposed car trouble. I had to call several times over and hour and 5 minutes and was told someone would be there soon. No one called to inform us there was a problem. Driver used Google maps to drive to sights however didn't know any of the history and we stopped the tour after 2 hours. Would recommend calling an Uber driver and working out a tour. This company lacked professionalism and attentiveness.

This tour was wonderful. Seeing things at night gives London a different feel and is a beautiful experience. Ahmed was what made it the BEST. We didn't give him a lot of direction, just a couple of things we were interested in and he took it from there. His knowledge is amazing and makes everything even things we were unaware of fascinating and interesting. And he knew how to get the best photo opportunities!

After confirming 24 - 48 hours in advance per their request and verifying the 8pm pick up. they never showed up and when the hotel called about the no show, they said they did not have a driver available for my tour. By this time it was too late to schedule something else. Thought it would be a great way to end our stay in London we were so wrong. Ruined our last night in London.

We booked this tour largely based on other peoples reviews as it sounded an ideal way to see London. Having been on the trip it now seems obvious that everything depends on the driver. We were unlucky! We were due to be picked up at our hotel at 8pm and were duly waiting on the pavement. Twenty minutes later after checking both entrances and looking around inside we found our driver hanging around in a corner not making any attempt to find us. OK, a bad start but not the end of the world. Our driver was a woman from the Czech Republic we discovered later who had been in England for eight years. Considering this her grasp of the English language was poor! We had a brief and confused conversation about what we wanted to do and said that we'd like to drive over Chelsea Bridge and visit the South Bank for a stop but apart from that we would leave it to her. We saw the bridge but didn't go over it not a major problem, we saw a lot of the sights with a few monosyllabic descriptions e.g. That's err Buckingham Palace. We went over Westminster bridge but instead of heading for the vibrant nightlife we were looking for just drove along an dead road and back over the river. The best I can say is that the driver we never found out her name could certainly drive in London. We didn't get a stop, we didn't get any sort of commentary, and we didn't get to see Soho. Altogether a very disappointing evening and as I said at the start It all depends on the driver!

Our driver Dusko was so accommodating. I had some colleagues from overseas who literally only had the one evening to 'see' London. I recommended a few places and Dusko ensured that we saw them all.
He found the best routes and even picked us up earlier. An absolutely delightful and knowledgeable guide.

Worst experience EVER while on Vacation. Driver obviously didn't want to be giving us the Tour Offered and Paid for, and we had to pay a Cash only upcharge for him to actually pick us up for our already paid for Tour.
Speed thru the sights, offered nothing more than this is Stop so and so.
THEN, even though it CLEARLY was on the tour booking, and on my confirmation Email, Driver tried to force us to find an alternate way home when he deemed the Tour was over, 40 Minutes before his Booked time ended.
Thus inciting a panic thru my family at 10:15 PM on a Monday night in the middle of Downtown London.
Several minutes of bickering, and the driver arguing with The Company later, and he grudgingly was told to take us back to our hotel.
So, thank you to the driver for scaring 3 kids and 2 parents on their last night in London. Your actions undoubtedly determined we will never be back in London for more than a Plane Change from now on.

Ask for Ahmed! He showed us ALL the highlights of the city at night and got into places to park that no big tour bus could dream of going. My companions and I were raving about how much we enjoyed this tour. We would recommend Ahmed and this tour to anyone we knew going to London.

The driver called Kaido or something from Nigeria was not knowledgeable about any of the places, and was a complete bore, he didnt show any enthusiasm. He bored us so much that we were snoozing off during the tour.
Plus, in the dark you barely see much.

My wife and I, along with our three children, spent a few hours with Ahmet as he guided us through London. He passionately told us of the history surrounding the rise of the United Kingdom, how each historical site originated, and the history from the past to the present. He did a great job and when we go back to London, we'll be sure to request another tour with Ahmet.

Our driver Ahmet was most excellent. knowledgable, thoughtful, resourceful and gracious. A first class experience in every aspect. Would not hesitate to employ him again. The car itself was roomy, comfortable and air conditioned Which was essential. All in all, a five star experience.

We booked the private car night tour for two and it was a complete joke. The driver didn't speak English well and knew NOTHING about the sights we drive by. He admitted he knew nothing and thought he was just a hired car for three hours. Really.....for 200 pounds?

Thank you for your feedback! We wanted to see if we could clarify this tour for you, and future travelers, to ensure that our travelers always select a tour that will best suit their needs. This tour is labelled as an "Independent Sightseeing Tour with Private Driver". The Driver will not be a Tour Guide, though as a native Londoner, they might be able to answer some questions you have, and they will certainly know how to get you from location to location.
We do offer some Independent Tours on our site for those travelers who don't wish to have a Tour Guide constantly giving them facts. Some travelers merely wish to see specific sights on their own (or perhaps bring a guide book with them) and enjoy the sights without commentary. Independent Tours are more geared toward that end.

My tour was amazing from Buckingham palace to tower bridge to even some historic houses. Ahmed knew his stuff and encouraged me to get out of the car to look around. Ahmed was amazing he took me everywhere on my list and even more, even with a special photo of tower bridge at a secret location. (Maybe not that secret really) Would've love to have done more but with traffic from 6-9pm on a Friday night really bad we gave up on one of the things I wanted to do and I did it the next morning with his directions
I suggest if you do the tour write down what you want to see before you go and if possible do the latest tour possible to avoid the traffic to get more in

Our driver was prompt, courteous and thoughtful. However, the tour was very dark (moreso because of tinted windows) and there was very little commentary along the way. I would hope, even though London is very energy conscious, that there would be areas to talk about and to view that would give this tour some depth. We were lucky to have been able to see London during the day to give some perspective during this tour.

Our first night in London-8:00 PM! There were 8 gal cousins traveling to London this May. Ahmed met us as our McGlashan apartments. Showed us all he could of London. Let us take pictures crossing the street at Abby road. He knew stories of London and place that were beautiful at night. At 11:00 he dropped us off at our speakeasy, Evans and Peel, just as we had asked the tour company to do. He knew the answers to all our questions and was just a delight to know. The tour was perfect for a first time visitor to London or for someone who visits here a lot. All we did was just enjoy the evning and get a sense of how attractions were layed out. He suggested a stop at a pub but we had made reservations at our speakeasy so we did not use his pub idea. Next time we will ask for Ahmed!!

This tour although very good, could have been done independently via the tube or walking. Photo opportunities were only possible where the drive had a place to stop and park. The paces visited were entirely up to us - the driver made some suggestions but said he would take us where ever we wanted - not helpful if you don't know London. Thankfully we did. Driver was on time and confirming the tour was very easy.
