Meet me at the main entrance to Science Gallery in Great Maze Pond. I'll be wearing a small black camera across my chest. Science Gallery is across the road from the Shard. You can see the entrance from St. Thomas Street. The nearest underground and mainline station is London Bridge.

This was a great tour, great value for the price. Ed takes you to fantastic off the beaten path photo spots in borough market, London bridge, tower bridge and in the city. He's knowledgeable, gives great suggestions and is very pleasant. Really enjoyed and would do this again, got interesting non touristy photos of iconic London.

Capturing the London vibe

I spent an afternoon with Ed Fil showing me some great spots for street photography. Along the way he introduced me some new techniques and refined some of the techniques I was already familiar with. One of the most fun practices was combining street and travel photography to create images that capture the vibe of the city. For example, placing an iconic landmark, such as Tower Bridge, in the background and interesting people in the foreground. This created images that remind me where I was, London, and capture the colour and energy of the location at the same time. Thanks for a great afternoon of shooting Ed.

I have done many street photography workshops in many different cities. Ed’s was definitely one of the best. He knows london very well and his photography perspective is quite different and fantastic. He explains everything calmly, also shows photos on his ipaid that he has clicked. Took me to places I wouldn’t go otherwise. I got some amazing photos and I leaned a lot. We kept shooting and walking and did not waste anytime so we made the most out of the time we had.
