Not all of the attractions on the list are available anytime. Scheduling is a must and transferring the pass to the relevant app is not as easy as it should be.

The most disappointing item was the Hop On Hop Off bus. We used it several times on day 1, but only planned to use it once on day 2 to get from Westminster Abbey to our hotel. The closest stop was #22 outside the Blue Boar. We waited there over 30 minutes and not a single Big Bus came by. We finally gave up and walked about half a Mile to Stop 21. I asked the driver why he did not go to Stop 22 and he said it had something to do with a construction detour. There was nothing on their web site about any stops that would be skipped nor was there anything posted by the Hop On Hop Off information at Stop 22 recommending that users go to stop 21 or 23. It made a long day into a much longer and more tiring day. Very disappointing.

I like this way too see attractions but there are 2 attractions that are not actually included in the pass even though they say they are, the London eye and the shard, but in reality you only get a discount for those attractions. I clicked the link that the London pass had to book both attractions and all it did was go to the website and no way to get the attractions for free as I thought they were included in the pass cost. Seems like false advertising to me.

With this card we saved a lot of money by visiting as many places of interests listed in the brochure as possible. Start early and come back late but don’t forget but don’t forget to have some cash in hand for food because not all shops take credit cards. The 2-day pass would be sufficient if one plans the time properly.

I had an amazing experience with the pass in London me and my friend did 11 of the attractions and it was quick and easy to use! Definitely recommended as I feel I also savwd money with it. I was even able to reserve spots for the london eye. So definitely try it if you want to do some attractions.

Just buy it through London Pass and save yourself the stress. In theory the pass is great and contained many of the things I wanted to do.
HOWEVER. I had nothing but trouble using it. A lot of the major attractions complained that I bought it through Viator stating they are not following the proper procedures for customers.
I wish I had never bought it. It was more of a headache than what it was worth.

I could not download the pdf of my London pass and had to use paper copies.
The guide at the Tower of London said she would never book a London pass using Viator as they frequently have trouble with them.
This is so disappointing and frustrating.
I tried downloading the pdf again and got an error message. It also said my pass had expired!
I bought a 5 day pass and have used it 2 days and am not sure if it will work tomorrow. Not good.

When we travel I always get a City Pass to see the attractions. It pays for itself if you visit 3-4 of the what’s included….especially the hop-on/hop-off bus tour for the day. That lets you see where the attractions are for further exploring. It’s a long ride to complete the circuit, over 3 hrs so prepare for that.

London Pass was easy to use, but one unfortunate part was Big Bus who I chose to use as my hop-on hop-off bus. They were apparently having a bad day with computers crashing and so services were significantly delayed as they swapped buses throughout the day. This meant I was unable to see as many attractions as I had planned and ultimately needed a $20 can ride to reach my final destination on time.

We try for hours getting it to work but it said it was not valid and after loosing those hours the hop on hop off bus route we used it stop at 10 am. No one mention that, it was supposed to be for the whole day. We had to get a taxi to get back. Never again

This was without doubt one of the biggest wastes of time and money ever. We had one day in London and really thought this would be the best way to see the highlights. Two in our group of six couldn’t get the vouchers to download. After attempting to get some help we took the tube and headed for the Tower of London. Still no help so two had to miss out on the Tower because their vouchers wouldn’t work. After the Tower and getting all vouchers working we took one of the Hop On/Off busses, the Big Bus. What a disaster. The employees were surly and rude, there was no guide, no recording, nothing pointing sites out along the way. The stop for Westminster Abbey was about two blocks from the actual building. We were unable to enter because we had arrived too late. Since you have to use the same bus company the entire day we walked back to the pick up point hoping to ride the bus around and maybe have a better crew on the next one. We stood at the pick up point where multiple bus companies do pick ups and drop offs. Multiple busses from other companies stopped in the 30-40 minutes we were there waiting. One from the Big Bus stopped in that time, just one. There was a crush of people trying to get on, and no one attempting to organize anything. We couldn’t get on that bus and when we asked when the next would arrive we were told “it’s a very busy day, there’s no way of knowing”. So, we walked away. We took the Thames boat ride included in the pass. It’s a water Taxi. If you know what you’re looking at or where the next place you want to go is compared to their route, great. If not you can wait in line to ride in a big circle on the Thames. We ultimately ended up walking to see Buckingham Palace and Harrods before getting an Uber back to our hotel. This was a complete waste of time and money. Never ever would I recommend this to anyone.

The first day of our trip our pass would not work. Called Viator o Lu to be passed to the London Pass. After an entire day of trying to figure out “why” it was because Viator didn’t share a required number with me or the London Pass Office. Day one lost if a 3 day purchase. Day 2 was going to do all the places we had missed on day one only to find out they were all closed!!! And yes they were closed on Day 3 too! So out of 85 attractions we did 3. A complete waste of time and money asking Viator to refund us so we could repurchase on Day 1, which they would not do!

It was a very difficult and stressful process to deal with - I needed other codes which were not given to me and I had to spend considerable time calling from London to Sydney to try and correct this . I wouldn’t recommend your pass but go directly to London Pass

In theory the london pass makes a lot of sense. However it didn't play out that way for us. It was hard to figure out who took the pass and it didn't work most of the time. The uber boat did work but it is strictly a taxi with poor views & announcements and NOT a river cruise.

We try to view London shard. It tells us to book. We check available day is after we left England. It also happens to other scenes. We only use to visit Tower of London and Uber boat. Actually Uber ride is more convenient. It is not worthy to purchase london pass.

Only the memories of frustration and one out of two days in London were wasted.
DO NOT buy the London Pass from Viator; maybe don’t even buy it at all. I purchased 2 two-day passes and received only one pass. I followed all of the instructions multiple times, and after being turned away for a second time, I attempted to contact Viator and the tour operator. (The tour guides attempted to help me even going back to my email confirmation.) I then called, emailed, texted, and used their Whatsapp chat option for both companies. Eventually, I had to change gears and head to a third attraction before it closed/stopped allowing people in. Sadly, this happened after wasting $22 on a cab ride to the attraction. It wasn’t until much later I realized Viator responded 10 minutes later. I know it sounds terrible that I couldn’t wait 10 minutes for a second response, even though the first response (from the first AI bot) came immediately. Still, I had to make a choice to visit another attraction for the day or wait around for a response after I was already turned away and had the lines closed prior to the actual time I had to text. I had already wasted two attempts at using my tickets and wanted to go to at least one attraction for the day. If Viator or the tour operator doesn’t respond or provide you with someone to talk to immediately, it leaves you with no choice other than to move on and try to get at least one tour in for the day. I hope the other three days of passes from Viator that I have in Paris work.

However only to find that the Buckingham Palace is open on July, Further, the Postal Museum and Charles Dickens Museum are also closed on Tuesday！ We have no alternative but to change the plan. Ultimately we visited 4 paid attractions with uber boat to cover the cost.
