Babs was extremely knowledgeable… She was a descendant of an employee of Churchill! She answered any question and gave remarkable detail!

Babs, the guide was incredibly fun and informative. I think our entire group thought we learned so much. We didn’t know. I strongly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot before entering the museum and exploring on our own

Good tour - not that much walking! Richard was a great guide who entertained! We separately purchased the war room tickets and he also helped facilitate our entry.

We had a lovely group. I learned a lot about Churchill during the Second World War. The tour guide gave you time to view the artworks on your own. She is very friendly and takes the time to listen to your story.

What a tour! So much history in London and this is a great tour to experience that. Our guide was Paul and he was incredrible. So knowledgeable, funny and a true Londoner which was nice. We got to see so many important spots relevant to WW2 and even got a nice recommendation for a pub that was the sole survivor in an area from the Blitz. Cool experience

One of the best tours we’ve experienced. Nathan is an outstanding guide. Knows everything and weaves brilliant stories for the audience. Don’t pass this up!
Ana_L, Feb 2026
Thank you Nathan for sharing your historical knowledge, jokes and experiences with me. I wasn’t expecting a one on one tour, but the other folks cancelled so I got a private tour experience. As an American, I truly enjoyed hearing Britain’s perspective of the war and learning some new pieces of history. It really set the stage for me to be able to appreciate the meaning behind the War Rooms on a deeper level.

I found it to be a really informative tour, the guide was most engaging with anecdotes and fantastic Brit humour. I would heartily recommend to locals and travellers alike.

Richard, our guide, was very knowledgeable about London history and entertaining. In the war rooms we had head sets to take us through and could spend as much time as we wished. Learned a lot!

This Tour actually ran about two hours… And was quite fascinating to learn about the history of World War II in London our guide Nathan was very knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to.

Walk is not strenuous. Our guide Nathan was knowledgeable and brought the history to life with stories about the Battle of Britain. Allow enough time for touring Churchill’s bunker at the end. It allows you to feel his monumental impact on GB and the world at that time.
Cynthia_L, Sep 2025
Francis was SO knowledgeable and easy to understand. The info and trivia he shared was so interesting. My husband and I agreed that we should have taken notes so we could share all the info with friends. Not too much walking
Edwin_R, Sep 2025
Martin our tour guide was excellent. He clearly is passionate about the topic and it was great to listen to him tell stories about the pilots that flew in the Battle of Britian as well as what it was like to live during the Blitz.
Anne_M, Sep 2025
Great walking tour, not high impact at all. Really enjoyed the history reminder before going to Churchills War Room, which is a must do!
Samantha_C, Sep 2025
Informative tour. Jeremy knew his history and the commentary was fascinating. We had already done a walking tour of Westminster however Jeremy’s commentary around the politics and building use showed an in-depth knowledge. The Battle of Briton memorial on the pier was beautiful. Definitely wouldn’t have seen it with the tour. The Churchill War Rooms are enlightening, the audio tour talking you through the various rooms allowed you to move at your own pace. should not be missed. Great value highly recommend.

I booked this for my husband and teenage boys while I went shopping and had tea. They came back and said it was incredible, they could have stayed and listen to their guide all day.
Daniel_R, Jul 2025
Our guide Jeremy was both knowledgeable and funny. He got us to our destination in time and peppered the walk with entertaining anecdotes
Amanda_B, Jul 2025

Francis was an excellent guide.
Informative, well mannered, and lots of fun.
He was extremely good at leading us into the Churchill rooms, and leaving us exactly where we needed to be.
Along the way he was very free with his information and left no stone unturned.
We were impressed with his willingness to tell us about his family history and his career.
Lovely man….
