A Great tour from start to finish. We loved it and can’t say enough about our tour leader Giovanina. She really was an excellent guide and was full of facts and information during the entire tour. Don’t eat breakfast if you take this tour as the amount of items to try from fruits to full entrees is huge. And Very Good Too! This was the best tour we had on our Lima and Peru trip.

Lovely tour with Maverick, Alexis and Miguel the driver. We ended up having a private tour and enjoyed the new minibus driving us from place to place.
All the foods were really tasty - especially the sandwich with fried fish to start, the ceviche and the chicha morada.
We didn't see loads of art but we think we ran out of time having lovely food and conversation with the two guides.

Maverick was a fantastic, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable guide who taught us a lot about Peruvian food, culture, history, and art. The food was delicious and portions were perfect. We got to try breakfast sandwiches with freshly caught fish at the morning fish markets, lots of delicious Peruvian fruits, ice cream, and other local foods. The tour took us to the perfect spots along Lima’s neighborhoods, including Barranco and Chorrillos. Overall this was an awesome experience and we highly recommend it as a great way to get to know Lima and Peru better, particularly with Maverick as the guide!!

Great exposure to some of Lima’s traditional dishes. Paula our guide was informative and fun to be with. Particularly liked the sardine sandwich by the sea. Also the market tour and getting to taste a variety of fruits.

Aaron, our tour guide was very informative and friendly. He took us to the fish market, food market and stops at fruit stores. The food was delicious. The tours of the two neighborhoods were nice. We received a good glimpse of Lima. He also told us of other places to explore in the city.

This was a great way to get an introduction to Lima and the real Peru! So much great food to try while exploring a variety of cool locations, including some classic tourist highlights. Gabby was a fantastic guide, really warm and welcoming, and very generous with sharing her stories and experiences. Would absolutely recommend to any friends visiting Lima! Don't eat beforehand though, there's lots to taste.

CESAR WAS AMAZING!
This tour was a foodies dream come true. If you love food and lolearning about the culture, then this is for you. SKIP BREAKFAST! You will be tasting a little of everything and your stomach will thank you for it. Cesar explained everything and you could see his love and appreciation of his culture and their food. He was so entertaining, we loved him! He made this tour super special and we would recommend it to anyone that visits Peru!

On Monday, April 1st, my mother and I embarked on the Lima Colors and Flavors walking tour, a delightful fusion of food and art. Despite starting off with a challenge as our hotel was far from the tourist hub of Miraflores, and battling through heavy traffic, we managed to connect with the tour company via WhatsApp to inform them of our delay. Thankfully, they graciously extended our wait time and had a guide ready for us upon arrival.
Welcomed warmly by Ms. Aura and her colleague Mr. Carlo(?), our tardiness resulted in a more intimate tour group, which added to the charm of the experience. Ms. Aura, our knowledgeable guide, not only provided us with the day's itinerary but also shared fascinating historical insights as we traversed each destination.
Despite the initial apprehension of engaging with strangers, Ms. Aura's amiable demeanor created a comfortable atmosphere. Her evident passion and deep understanding of Peru instilled a sense of pride in her work and country. Venturing off the beaten tourist path, we explored local haunts, indulged in authentic cuisine, and immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture and music of Lima.
Be warned, the tour is a culinary feast, so wearing stretchy pants is advisable! I highly recommend this unique experience, especially if led by the exceptional Ms. Aura.

I spent the morning with Gaby and our driver was Alejandro. He was a safe and good driver. Gaby was very knowledgeable and felt like I was spending the morning with a friend. We had wonderful conversations and I learned much about the history and the local neighborhoods, the foods, the culture. It was a great experience and I’m glad I booked the tour. breakfast at fisherman’s dock and the local market was our favorite parts. Tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Certainly a great way to introduce yourself to the city and become acclimated with the Peruvian way of life.

We were super happy with our guide Cesar and had the best couple of hours exploring places around Barranco! Private driver came to pick us up straight from our hostel and drove us back at the end. Emphasis on our tour was on food which was perfect for us :) And you get to eat a lot!

Aura met us at the hotel, it was just the two of us with her for the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects, from the fish market to the meat and vegetable stands, to the wonderful art in Barranco. Aura was very knowledgeable, never left us wondering what was happening or what was next, and answered all our questions with very, very good English! Highly recommend for foodies who enjoy art and history.
